- Gaming Pastime reviews Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II for PC.
Developed and published by LucasArts, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II was released for PC in October, 2010. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is a very underwhelming sequel and the improvements over its predecessor don't mask its problems.

who's more op starkiller or rey franchisekiller.
Starkiller better character, more relatable and is not a marry sue
Both.
starkiller, since sk is an action video game protagonist.
Is that even a question? Lol
Obviously Starkiller duh 😉
Starkiller can make mistakes
IIRC my biggest issue with this game was that once you're past the midway point of the game all the levels are basically backtracks of levels you previously visited.
It's funny because I played both games many years ago and then a few year later I replayed them. And as I was starting out with the second game I thought to myself "I remember disliking this game a lot more and I don't know why". Eventually I figured out why I didn't enjoy it as much as the first game.
my problem with TFU2 was that it felt like a game 25% completed stretched out to not a even a full game. it felt short, less levels, enemies. the first felt like a full game to me. 2 was a massive disappointment as a big fan of the first
6:00 exactly because of that i had much more fun with the second Game (despite it´s many flaws) then it´s predecessor.
In the first Game the whole Gameplay felt so ... off, i can´t really describe it, like i somehow don´t have complete control over my character and what´s he doing.
I'm working on a mod to fix some of those issues. The issues are with cooldowns on abilities which should not have cooldowns, and animations being too long and having too long windup frames (for example in TFU2 when you do a melee attack, the lightsabers connect instantly with an enemy. In TFU1, it takes way too many frames for the enemy to get hit after you press the button)
I just tried the game in Pc and i have a bug in the Gorog fight, during the first phase of the fight, when it tells me to mash his restraint chains back, no matter how quickly I mash, Starkiller's animations won't speed up to press the chain back in. No matter what I do, Starkiller won't do enough force pushes fast enough; it's definitely a bug since I played it on consoles and it worked fine. Now i just cant finish the game wtf. Can anyone help?
The game was, in fact, rushed. It was only developed over the course of 9 months, which is why the level design is somewhat blander and the story is worse (not to mention the game being really short). The writer for the first TFU also left to make his own indie studio instead of working on this.
could have been a great game like the first it was just rushed and forced out half baked, the game is stupid short and reuses levels from earlier.
Can't believe how dated this looks now, it looked unreal to me back in the day
I remember having the same problem, the game being too easy, and I just didn't feel the urge to finish it.
Gameplay-wise, tech-wise and visually, its much better.
However the story and pacing is just awful and short (not that the first game was pinnacle of narrative, but it was better than this).
Like it was super short yet somehow still felt padded.
Still, the unlockable Jedi armor is cool af
It's also incredibly short, one sitting kind of thing.
We are led to believe that that is a clone of Starkiller. HOWEVER, that is NOT a clone but Starkiller himself! How do I know that? The Thrawn trilogy! It was Thrawn, not Vader, that was able to find out how to successfully clone Force users. He used the ysalamir lizard. The lizard in question would create a sort of bubble where the Force, in a way, absent.
the framerate can be unlocked by a third party program
how can you even play this on pc i have windows 10 and it doesnt run
great game
Remember how the story hinted that it's impossible to clone a jedi?
Yeah in star wars lore at least when this game was made it was pretty much known it was impossible to clone somebody who can wield the force. Vader was just gas lighting lol
This sequel is pretty disappointing in it's length.
This looks like God Of War: States Wars.
I hate quick time events in video games...
Game has a terrible story, BUT the graphics are much better and the combat is much more fun, fast and fluid. The first game's combat was so janky and tedious.
At least after a few years, the game is worth the price.
That series had the worst lightsaber combat of any Star Wars game in existence. Felt like a damn police baton
What a huge let down this game was
This is the worst PC port that I have played. I've had way less problems with GTA 4 and Saints Row 2 than this mess. Aside from that it's a cool game.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is a disappointment. Even the Wii version feels like a step back from the first game's Wii port.
this game was so repetituve i almost forgot I played it already
