saturday at meltham church 17 of june 2023

now hello there and welcome to meltham church st bartholomews where we start our trip to derbyshire i got to meltham around 8 20 but the church didnt chime at all but i started at 9 o clock am in the morning am with the full chiming then the striking then only a short verus tune only it means it only played it once only so the church clock starts chiming around 9 am and shuts off just after 9 pm at night time ottomattic night mute now i know for next time we ever have a meltham branch trip so when i get to meltham church around 8 20 it wont chime at all no it starts from 9 am till 9 pm shut off every night so it dosent chime through the nights and wake people up because the chiming is so loud when you live right next to meltham church so thats nice that people can sleep in peace the carillon only plays 4 times a day 9 am 12noon 3pm 6pm last music seasion no problems with the busses from halifax to huddersfield or to meltham no i got there in good timing by stuart mills the weather wasnt as hot as last week a lot cooler ok enjoy the church of meltham
