    Sad to read people's comments on actual talent. None of this groups's RUclips videos have high view count. They don't seem to be accomplished in popularity but KEXP found them to be a quality talent and gave them a break...I agree & what I like about KEXP

      Ignore the hyper-critical fuddyduddies, this would be a fun ass show to go to. They sound like early Dandy Warhols with East Bay Ray as guitarist.

    I dont understand why do people dislike it. Singer is nice, music isnt borring, the band is ok, what is wrong? Not enough "coldplay"?

    If there is one thing you do In 2022 is go and see these guys live, do not sit behind your keyboard judging talent and content and vibe when your only experience of them is a you tube video.
    they rock and like all bands need support not criticism. if you don't like don't watch simple!!!

    I caught these dudes live at the weekend and passed up the chance to see Dry Cleaning to do so. My god they are intense live! Mesmerising the 5 of them. They put on what I would like to refer to as a 'proper gig'! This KEXP performance showcases them well but still doesn't come close to the experience in the flesh. I'll be catching them again first chance I get and hope more people catch on to them. Describing themselves as "feral garage rock from the North Yorkshire Moors" - couldn't put it better myself!

      Ian, certain styles/bands are not everyone's cup of tea and I can appreciate this. But why blatantly offend the band without giving any exaples? Avalanche Party have a solid following and respect from legendary people in the industry such as Steve Lamacq, John Kennedy and others. Their shows are selling out and they were invited based on merit to SXSW. As you can see, KEXP chose them to participate in the international Clash Day and their performance was filmed. They also toured EU and America will great success. This summer they will play string of the most important summer festivals. I think your comment is based on your personal distaste for their style and not on what the band actually can do and cannot do.
      If you had taken just a minute to actually research them, you wouldnt be posting such nonsense. But hey, everybody's a critic these days right?

    'Interesting' (whatever that means)
    By the way, if you don't like, keep your comments. At least these guys are living their dreams while you're just an armchair talent spotter

      You don't have to watch any videos to be into the music you are playing. If it sounds like something, it doesn't automatically mean they are imitating. Otherwise, I could judge you by all the morons who post stupid zero-content comments. Maybe you are just copying the multitudes of ignorant dipshits who have nothing to offer.

    I have watched some terrible things in my life. Wars, immigration, diseases, death, nuclear accidents.. this band is on another level man. its nice to see that you can still have fun with your mates playing your 'music' with great passion regardless how talented and gifted you are. On the other hand you could do the same amount of bad and pointless noise by just visiting the toilet. So why the act...the pedals...the instruments and the cringe?

    • @faboolean7039
      @faboolean7039 5 лет назад +5

      They've got obvious noise rock influences. You just don't get it. It's punk with 60s influence and you just don't like it which is acceptable but to say they have no talent is just not true. Not every band has a stage presence like them nowadays.
