Excellent discussion!!! I appreciate the humbleness. Not weakness….. just reasoned positions. Matt always exemplifies this attitude, and it’s admirable. Never vitriolic, but effective.
One thing that strikes me about this video is that it is really a wonderful example of “sanctified conversation.” Both men are taken up with the subject of worship, have ideas and conceptions of what worship is and freely share them, both adding to or refining the other. The result is greater clarity and love for what is pleasing o God. There is very little of this kind of conversation in our digital age (in comparison to the past anyway) but it can be a very real means of grace and growth when Christians are able to freely and lovingly engage with each other in this manner.
Great listen
Thoroughly enjoyed this.
the concert-like nature of many churches' worship services has been my axe to grind for years. Will absolutely be picking this book up!
