whole thing has changed the character dramatically and im really happy he didnt go for a sitcom fix. You can really tell from how people where acting in the beginning they thought there was 1 grand gesture they could do to reset him back to normal. The perma conditions made people get serious and really interact with it as a plotline. Spoiler: .. .. After he gets his new split mask and is sent to jail and everyone comes to visit him there were screams of excitment when Chatty spoke to them as if the clowns had won the puzzle game. The reveal that Jagger was still there too had this amazing energy where everyone had to take a step back and realize the change was permanent (hugely underrated moment). It feels like another turning point in their mentality where they accept hes not going anywhere and they try to interact with him as a person.
This arc ain't ending til after Sooty comes back... she's definitely the final boss of it all.
