No lie everything u said bout this game like how when it was new you didn’t know how to play until it got easy was when it was finally enjoyable. Well I literally had a flash back of owning this exact item. Plus ur kaps (pog) opening was everything I felt, just remembering these moments in history that once I actually lived and enjoyed. Yet it felt like a dream, and it gets forgotten due to day to day life. Wow nostalgia really hit me. I miss those days dude. I’m 26 now. I’m so scared that my life is getting shorter while things like this are what I use to enjoy as a kid so much is now gone:(

I should take away your phone and make you play with a rock and stick so you respect what you have now just let the kid have the phone you bought them it and you try to punish them for using it and if you actually do this to your kids they sure as heck won't respect you so have fun alone on the holidays boomer!

I'm thinking the molds were either tweaked over the years and that's what they had on hand to make the reproductions, or these are modern updates. I would guess that the slider helps stabilize the batteries and that the screw is to prevent very young children from getting to the batteries (which I'd say is more of the target audience for something like this) so it's more of a safety/standards issue. I'm actually impressed with how accurate it all looks, down to the artwork. It would seem they kept some good archives on these products.

You could review the basic fun mini arcade games sold at Walmart in the future....I have several basic fun mini arcade games, Space Invaders, Asteroids, Centipede....all pretty fun....Yes, I have bought them...and yes I do have a Nintendo Switch...I also have a few Game&Watch and Coleco mini arcades and Missile Invader by Bandai electronics...the reason these items sell is nostalgia for handheld gaming of the late 1970’s and early 80’s....The classic Mini arcades are good, and so are the new ones...

I think it's kinda silly to have these now, it world been nicer if they made like modern version like the fully genesis ports of the games in the retro tiger handheld designs. like for Sonic, let it have Sonic 3 and Sonic and Knuckles lock on with it. That kinda like re-releasing the the tiger gamecom console with out improving it. But I guess these are nostalgia collectors only, so guess it be limited? I swear there's an unused element to the game. there's a seemingly unused knuckles frame that you see when you insert the batteries and all the frames light up. it's the one of him with an arm out, in a walking motion.
Do a live stream man that would be funny and bring in older ppl like me. I only had one of tiger electric I think it was Sonic or MK and then my GBC came in my life then is was history lol! 😹🤣
Back in 90s there were no such thing as emulator devices. These lcd games were the “portable” ports of console games. So its the only way to enjoy (sort of) your console games... lol... silly I know. But thats entertainment for us 90s kids. I too did some reviews on classic lcd games not only from tiger electronics, but from other companies as well. Not all sucked really.
I had Simon’s Quest back in the day. I’d probably get that if they reissued it. Had some TMNT ones too. Not sure if Tiger made those or not. I think I had Megaman 2 also? (Was there even a Megaman 2 from Tiger?)
We don't get Sonic 3 on the Sega Genesis Mini, an Ages treatment from M2, nor in the recent compilation for the current consoles, and we get this instead?

Well I bought them for the purpose of making a couple videos and was genuinely curious to try them out. The little mermaid one on the other hand I had no real desire to buy, but I grabbed one and havent opened it as I thought maybe it would be a dumb little gift to give to my sister. I remember she had that one when we were younger, so mite be kinda funny to gift it to her. She is my twin sister so we grew up playing a lot of similar stuff... I had like the Street Fighter tiger handhelds and she had the dumb Disney girly ones 😆

I'd love to see a reissue of Simon's Quest. I'm sure it's awful, but the NES version holds a special place in my heart, so I'd buy it.
