      The meaning of both is same but 입니다 is formal while 예요 is used in casual speaking.

    i saw 에요 with 다행이에요. could you please clear why 이에요 is used with 다행이에요 in sentence:
    무사히 끝나서 다행이에요.

      When the word is ending with a patchim (consonant) we add 이에요. When ending with a vowel sound, 예요 is added.
      Ex - 의사예요.
      선생임이에요.

    I think that "Is/am/are" becomes "same".

    In the name , why do we say 저는 and not 나는?

    • @blue-ct3hh
      @blue-ct3hh 6 лет назад +17

      저는 is a formal way of introducing yourself (to adults or for people whom you met the first time)
      It is not wrong to use 나는. However, this does not end with 입니다.
      나는 is a less formal way (to people younger) and 입니다 is a more formal way of ending a speech. Therefore, they do not go together.
      so you would say..
      저는 (your name) 입니다
      or
      나는 (your name) (이)라고해
