Dave's Day ride

We participated in the Dave's Day ride, starting at Charnock Richard Services with the expectation of 2000 to 3000 riders. However, we were pleasantly surprised when over 46000 riders showed up when we reached Kendal. It was an emotional day with people on every bridge waving and cheering. Unfortunately, we had to head home as the riders went towards Barrow, but the last 4 or 5 minutes of our ride home were enjoyable. We would definitely do it again in a heartbeat.
