I feel like Lego needs sets like this to come out and flop so they can realise that they can't take the fans for granted and can't just put out any old crap at any price. If they were going to make this, a better idea would've been a flatter logo with no minifigures for $30/40

Agreed that this was just an insanely missed opportunity. And the Thor fig makes no sense. I think ideal selection would’ve been: 1. Symbiote Spidey or Amazing Fantasy Spidey 2. Gold first appearance iron man 3. Comic ant man 4. Comic wasp 5. Silver Surfer
I really wish it was the six heads of marvel that we all know. We can keep iron man, Captain america, Hulk and thor, But instead of black widow, We get Spider-Man in a new suit And wolverine in his Deadpool and Wolverine outfit.

I think I'd go for for 2 big figs, being another comicbook Hulk maybe gray this time and Abomination, Amazing Fantasy #15 Spider-man or Kaine's Scarlet Spider with Morlum as the bad guy, Wolverine in his first apperance suit and Sabertooth.
This is such a dissapointing set. Youd expect a set like this to have a lot of cool easter eggs, cameos, and cool stuff in it besides the minifigures. But no, its not, what you see is what you get, obvious corners were cut with this set and the minifigures it so proudly displays. The way id invision a set like this, it would be hard to do but i would make it so that you can have hulk (a bigfig of him) crash through the middle of the marvel logo bc hes the hulk, sure it would be hard to build the technic around the hole but not impossible. This way we can not only have a bigfig but also include Hawkeye on the other side aswell. The set could honestly also do with more easter eggs and references in the build, if not accessable then through the build at least. And lastly upgrade the figures, give black widow armprinting, make hulk a bigfig, Captain America his duel molded legs, Thor (well i think hes fine for the most part he just needs dual molded legs) and change that iron man helmet back to the og PUH-LEASE! (And add Stan Lee) Overall, this set is not worth 100 dollars at all, let alone 80. Its just a big brick with letters that barely does anything, a well built one, but still. To me this set is everything wrong with most marvel sets nowadays (ironic considering the films arent doing good either) constant cut corners, missed opportunities, but overpriced. I guess if you like the marvel logo or if you dont have the any of the avengers, getting it on sale wouldnt be too bad? But the AOU set is better, has more figures, hulk big fig, a more fun build and a more reasonable pricepoint (still a bit much) If i could rank this set, it would be a 5.5 out of 10

Dude, i started to compare price/buildexperience with the milano that came out a couple weeks back. Imagine, a couple bux more and you get a super unique spaceship model in that case. My wallet is thankfull and most importand i have fun with this TOY again. This thing is lame, its just aint worth it in my eyes. Things like that are super weird. Who is this for. Idk
This is such an oversized mediocre build. It could have been much flatter, had a bit of a stand sticking out of the back or a way to hang it, and the minifigures and this easily could have been a $50-70 set. This is just an insanely high price for what you’re really getting.

That’s not how it works. Each team gets a budget, so Sonic, Super Heroes, and CMF are separate budgets from each other.
