The DDOS is not currently affecting T1’s ability to practice/scrim. It’s affecting their ability to stream on their main accounts. They have secret accounts given by riot that allows them to play and practice without DDOS, but they have cancelled their livestreams because their main accounts get targeted. It is misinformation that they “can’t practice.” It was true earlier in the year but since getting secret accounts they have been practicing normally.

While corki doesnt have an item, neither does taliyah (you need to fully stack up the tier before getting seraph). And it hurts a mage way more than a marksmen to be short of their item completition Rell doesnt have merc treds which leona has (which is incredibly usefull). T1's only real advantage in items comes from top, but while kraken for tf is a massive spike, skarner is a tank and can do just fine even without the item completition
The item gap between jhin and Ezreal was too much. And while other adc needs at least 3 items to carry the game, Ezreal can do better with 2 items. That's why GenG could win the fight. Adc's hp was full, and it makes T1 to fall back at the right side. TF's stun was a big threat but because Ezreal pushed other T1's members away, they just couldn't help TF to end Nidalee

Game 1 they pick TF top even though it never working in their favor, then they give most meta champs like Skarner, Corki and Nidalee to enemies. Game 2 they pick BLUE SIDE and instead of picking one of the meta champs like Skarner/Nidalee, they first pick Tristana when Taliyah open, and then pick first time Taliyah jg. T1 drafting is just their biggest enemy, I still believe in T1 players, but I have given up on their Drafting.

They would suddenly attack the backs and they were making various mind games.wombo combo gameplan, split push game plan, juggernaut adc game plan etc..most importantly, while doing these, you could have a very diverse champion pool. Right now, the game revolves around 15-20 champion.. catch someone, play slow, kill frontline, win.. BORING....

Corki Brand/Karthus makes Skarner really easy to kill, and doesn't give him great picks to just charge straight into. Ziggs bot also makes Skarner miserable. Like it's pretty overtuned, and when pros figure out how to flank on it, it's joever. But It's not criminal.

And yes, Riot should absolutely deal with this, but they aren't, therefore if this is the actual issue the company should find ways to deal with it. Keria hasn't really looked all that great all year. Guma is consistent but the rest of his team aren't. Chovy has Faker figured out and the remaining players are just capable of matching their opposite number.
Not gonna lie, these regular split series don't hit quite as hard when it feels guaranteed that they'll both be in finals. Especially with how HLE and KT have looked so far, unless DK steps up even more than they already have, it's really hard to see any other teams beating T1 or GenG to stop yet another finals matchup.

in game 2, watching the draft, I was wondering... when is the last time a team picked in order? like picking top, then jg, then mid, then adc, then support? because GenG almost did that but when has someone actually done so?
Game 1 they pick TF top even though it never working in their favor, then they give most meta champs like Skarner, Corki and Nidalee to enemies.
Game 2 they pick BLUE SIDE and instead of picking one of the meta champs like Skarner/Nidalee, they first pick Tristana when Taliyah open, and then pick first time Taliyah jg.
T1 drafting is just their biggest enemy, I still believe in T1 players, but I have given up on their Drafting.

well when will people finally understand that T1 always had this issue. They either latch on to meta picks or off-meta picks only they play (cause others lack mechanics or dont realise those champs are strong). But when there aren't any meta champs they perform better at than others and not really of-meta picks they have prepped then it's always doomed for them. It's been that way with this exact roster for so long now.

The current meta is in a very bad state. Matches end directly on the selection screen. We are waiting to see who will kill whose tank in the front first. If you spent your ultimate you have no chance to plays for Rift or Dragon. It's very boring. In the past so many different picks were chosen. They would suddenly attack the backs and they were making various mind games.wombo combo gameplan, split push game plan, juggernaut adc game plan etc..most importantly, while doing these, you could have a very diverse champion pool. Right now, the game revolves around 15-20 champion.. catch someone, play slow, kill frontline, win.. BORING....

I mean, Skarner has great counters into it rn.
Rumble/Morde destroy it, with Morde having the added benefit of being able to ult Skarner and completely remove his impact in a fight. Corki Brand/Karthus makes Skarner really easy to kill, and doesn't give him great picks to just charge straight into. Ziggs bot also makes Skarner miserable.
Like it's pretty overtuned, and when pros figure out how to flank on it, it's joever. But It's not criminal.

Look, I am a fan, but if T1 is actually that impacted by the ddos attacks, then the company should do something about it. I can't believe that they can't get super riot accounts and go practice as a team while not streaming. And if the T1 network is attacked constantly, just rent a place, go to someone's apartment, or something, you can't tell me that there aren't ways for them to properly practice. And yes, Riot should absolutely deal with this, but they aren't, therefore if this is the actual issue the company should find ways to deal with it.
At this point it feels like either the coaches don't have a proper read on the meta or something is going on behind the scenes, and the players are kinda burnt out.

Not gonna lie, these regular split series don't hit quite as hard when it feels guaranteed that they'll both be in finals. Especially with how HLE and KT have looked so far, unless DK steps up even more than they already have, it's really hard to see any other teams beating T1 or GenG to stop yet another finals matchup.
