Creator here! Finally content of this levelpack on youtube, haha. So answering some questions and telling some things: 1. Q: When's the real time action? A: Unfortunately, I've set my aim to balance the levelpack WITHOUT LEVEL IS AUTO, as mentioned in the trailer. I want to promote consistency in dodging patterns and smart understanding of your surroundings instead of timing/reaction time. A little more fitting for BiY's puzzle nature. Its more of a movement puzzle if you think about it. Its also more friendly to lower end devices. LEVEL IS AUTO + a lot of rules would lag a ton. But... I actually planned for a LEVEL IS AUTO side story - not in this update, though! Notice the coming soon parts? One of the side story is that, basically (Way to keep it a secret, TeoC). It will be more of a spinoff and have a entirely different game layout because there's NO WAY I can just slap a LEVEL IS AUTO on existing levels and call it a day with how it's enemies and projectiles density are currently balanced. That side story will be more fast paced than strategy focused. So keep an eye on that update, Knowing me, I'm sure I'll be very loud on announcing the update once it arrives. But also knowing me, it'd probably take a few months before I work on it. 2. I noticed you weren't playing the most updated version of the levelpack (Obvious from the lack of version number in the Main menu) Necro Witch is abnormally hard in this version, to the point some players would say it's harder than the final boss of the first half of the main story. But hey, congrats on getting through it, lmao, Bosses wont be as hard until that point, so you can rest easy. Anyway, update your levelpack. 3. The pink and outline of BABA is just for clarity porpuses. Makes it easy to spot BABA in the room filled enemies. 4. The "Enemies friendly-fire" rule is there to keep enemies density in check and avoid crowding the room in later waves and also to avoid cases where it's impossible to tell what enemies are on a tile because they keep clumping together. I'd say its one of the best QoL feature in the levelpack. 5. I did make early levels pretty easy to rush through, but you *might* want to break off that habit for later levels, just a hunch. 6. Giv food. There's quite a lot more things in the levelpack to uncover, so I hope this will be a longer series rather than a one-off. But, I guess its up to you on that
Yeaa, I added it because The heart meter is just that important of a feature in both games. It balances out room with very high enemy density by allowing you to get combos much easier, and also regain back health much faster
Yes, I just hate how there's barely any content of it online. So i decided to be one of the first one to make a mod for it outside of the game to spread its reach
Sheese, it's been awhile since I've seen this modpack, let alone the game this modpack is based on. I remember playing this game for awhile but after losing the acsess to the account I haven't played it since. Wonder how's it going...
As for the game, there's been Curse Crusher (a harder version of the game with new boss gimmicks, can be immediately accessed via menu or by completing a normal run [treasures gained via the run are retained in CC])...and that's about it. There's not been much going on with CnC cuz they're working on another game.
