Very interesting and confirmatory of a number of sources that have been convincing on this topic. Would love to have seen your notes. I work in overseas aid across four continents. Almost everywhere, village level or otherwise, people speak 2-3 languages minimum whether educated or not. It's particularly we lazy English speakers who think language means you had to study formally.
Groundbreaking insight. Taxcollector Matthew must have spoke Greek. Seems so plausible that Greek was lingua franca of first century Israel. I have often wondered if "tax collector" Matthew journaled teachings of Jesus in "real time." It was part of his previous job to keep records.Makes sense that Matthew was actually the"Q" contributor that critics postulate
Not So Breaking News: Jesus spoke & read Hebrew, Aramaic, & Greek because Greek was the language of business; Aramaic was the language most Jews living in Galilee & Judah spoke, & Hebrew was the language of the Talmud.
The words of a man pushed beyond reason

Its surprising how many people are so stuck in their traditions that they think its literally impossible for Jesus to have spoken any greek whatsoever
Like English today, the lingua franca of that time & place was Greek.
The note about Joseph probably speaking Greek in English is really interesting.
How do you know Bart Err Ehrman is wrong? His lips moved. So whatever he says you know it's the opposite of truth.

more importantly... Hebrew was the language of the Torah scrolls. Whenever Yeshua read from a scroll it would inevitably be in Hebrew.
The Talmud didn’t exist in the 1st century. At least in written form.
