Beside for the beautiful table you have created from wood by means of cutting down trees and decreasing the oxygen count in the world adding to the causes of global warming I have to say youre videography skills are stupendous and second to none It reminds me of my great step grandfather who produced many films during the roaring 20s Additionaly youre acting skills of you and your assistant who can be seen at the 9:51mark in this film is outstanding Cheers to you and all your future endeavors
Wow I don’t even know what to say, I hear your concern about the trees and will try to be mindful, and comparing me to your grandfather, a famous film maker Is a true compliment thank you! Oh and that’s just some random guy at 9:51 🤷🏻♂️
Trees are a renewable resource. Just like tomatoes and watermelons. There are international laws that prohibit import/export of wood using unsustainable practices. The planet will be fine.
Nice! I love how you made the tenons and mortises. I noticed the tenons were square (versus round mortises) but it didn't matter. What bit did you use and height? Also, did you use tempered glass and how would I go about getting one (and cutting i guess)?Thank you.
Excellent work. One piece of feedback, if I may: your riving knife is not going to prevent kickback with a gap that large, especially with such short pieces going through the blade. Your push stick, though, seemed to do a good job keeping things under control. Keep up with these great videos!
Absolutely love the simple clean look. I would not have guessed that it was made from Sapele. I figured it was Mahogany. If you don't mind me asking, how much for the lumber?
Thank you Doug! The stain combination I did helped hide the slightly lighter tone of Sapele. I think at the time the lumber was about $68. I used one 1”x12”x8’ and another small piece
Why you people make fool to others!?? How it's DIY?? You're a professional carpenter and all these machines and stuff which you was used professional carpenters. DIY means "do it yourself" and the stuff or things which aren't easily apply to anyone except professionals then how can be everyone can make? You're a carpenter, professional carpenter and all these machines aren't providing any person who doesn't know how these run even! And if the person only design and make by you then it will not DIY. But that person perhaps be a furniture designer.
Nicely done woodwork.
Thanks!
Nice job but it would have nice to tell us what you were doing as you went through the steps

I used a quarter inch bit and it was a quarter inch high. I don’t know if the glass was tempered, I bought it from a local glass company
