Got this about two and half weeks ago and I love it. Super beastly on my skin that the scent remained after showering and scrubbing off the area. Longevity is definitely there. However it didn't agree on my wifes body chemistry and it was gone within a few hours. We sprayed Eclaire and topped it with Kamrah Qahwah with a little bit of Ajayeb and it's comparable. Very complex and intriguing but pleasant and rich concoction. SEHR wins it all with the presentation, bottle alone makes it a must have. Thanks for the review and I'm glad this has finally become available to the public.

Great review, Arahi! It was great to see how Sehr compares to so many other fragrances - so helpful! I have to say I am really interested in possibly picking up this fragrance because I am so crazy for this kind of spicy, boozy, woody, nutty vanilla fragrance. I actually recently picked up Mauboussin Star, a fragrance I have never heard anyone talk about, and it is another deep, nutty, cozy vanilla that I can't get enough of. It has made me want to pick up more of these types of fragrances because I find them so comforting. Especially since I'm trying to be more selective in the fragrances I purchase lately, your reviews are so helpful in avoiding the dreaded blind-buy-fail. So I went through so many fragrances in my collection trying to cover as much ground in Vanilla scent profiles as possible but the ones I compared it to came the closest and of Vanille Absolu is the definite winner in my opinion! But this is one that I think most people will love because this scent profile as you stated is just so comforting and like sets you are ease! I love it and am excited to see what maceration does to it! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I wasn’t planning on buying this perfume until I watched your video🤗🤓 I finally got it in and to me it smells like Oudgasm vanilla oud + Shaghaf oud tonka + vanilla 28 mixed together and I love it!🙌🏻🤓 I think anyone that likes those three perfumes would enjoy this one.

Hi sweet lady! Thank you for the review! I finally received my Lattafa Sehr today! The bottle is the most beautiful bottle I own! It's a piece of art. So now, for the scent... I love it! It reminds me a bit of Kismet Angel Maison Alhambra, which is now called Kismet Magic. Not a dupe, but it smells similar to my nose. Kismet Magic is sweeter. They both have cinnamon, amber, tonka bean and vanilla. I also detect some booziness in both even though Sehr has no boozy notes. Sehr is in a class of it's own. Great blind buy! ❤

My Sehr arrives this Friday ! i did have a sample of Montale Vanille Absolute and loved it..but never purchased a full bottle....but it remained on my "wishlist". I am still enjoying Teriaq and Qissa Delicious. Off topic: I did receive Khadlaj- Prestige Royal and compared it to the Fragrance World- Artisan Hibiscus Magic. Well....both are very similar..however I find the Hibiscus Magic is a powerhouse and may be "challenging" to wear..whereas the Prestige Royal is kinda/sorta .."smoother" and easier to wear. I am not surprised that you and others in the Fam may defer to closer to the Fall… I just wanted to deliver this highly requested review for those who are looking to make a decision now! I will be revisiting this fragrance closer to the fall when it has had a chance to sit for several moths! But I have the strong feeling I am just going to love it more and more! Sehr puts me in the mind frame of these fragrances all perfectly blended together. Commodity's Milk, Navitus Lost in a Dream, Kilian Angel's Share, Paris Corner's Rifaaqat. Perfect for fall. A must buy, even if it's just for the quality presentation and bottle. Im a gourmand girlie, so another scent like any of the above mentioned is always welcomed😊

Arahi thank you so much for this breakdown! I saw Sehr here in the UK a couple of weeks ago for £30 but I ignored it - the same site has now gauged the price up to £70!!! Kicking myself a bit but I do own and love Vanille Absolu from Montale so not all is lost. I wonder if you’ve tried Sweet Vanilla from Montale? It’s my favourite of all the Montale Vanilla’s, and is a BEAST of a sugary, almost sherbet, delicious vanilla! Edit: I must say I’ve never picked up any cherry or plum from Vanille Absolu and if there is any fruitiness to me at all I’d say it’s a kind of spicy, boozy accord in the background of the pure vanilla extract scent profile

I'm very new to gourmand fragrances, I always thought I was a straight white floral girl but I'm trying to open my mind a lil' bit 😅 I'm very curious to try Eclair and Teriaq, just got my Lattafa's Affection Love from the mail today and what a beauty! Some say it's a better clone to Yum Pistachio than the Paris Corner's one, I can't compare it because I never sniffed Yum, but I just love when we get to enjoy a scent just for the scent itself and not for being a clone. Right?

Sooo I just got my Lattafa sehr! And as soon as I smelled it I said omg this is another khamra! I think it smells just like khamra with a tiny twist of leather and maybe sweeter? More caramel maybe? It’s a beautiful scent, and yes I feel it’s already strong so I can only Imadging how it will be after macerating!

OK I have a content suggestion for you: would you be willing to do a video about Oud? I would want something very basic, what it is and what it smells like. Maybe discuss some examples of oud at different strengths and variations in fragrances you own. The reason I suggest this is I find myself enjoying fragrances with this note, yet I’m not always sure that is what I am smelling? 🤷🏼♀️ And I think oud can have different aromas too, right? People seem to be apprehensive (assume it’s skanky) about this note when I’m not sure they really need to be. Education is always a wonderful thing….and I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone really do this in fragcom. Perhaps especially appropriate since oud seems to be a key component in ME perfumery and we’re all loving your ME content. Anyway….thought I’d ask, I would definitely benefit from such a video. Hi Jill! Absolutely! This makes total sense and have been giving some thought as to how to approach an Oud discussion with the Fam…. Because the note of Oud is not always an intense or acquired taste type of smell! It is, in my opinion, quite a beautiful and special note when done right! Hi Marta! To my nose there is nothing lactonic about this fragrance so I don't get Commodity or Lost In a Dream from it! There is also a level of complexity to the notes found in both Commodity and Lost in a Dream that is just not present in Sehr.... the focus here is Vanilla! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Could you suggest a nice vanilla fragrance? I like Alien Goddess but find it not strong enough and love the vanilla in the dry-down of Tharwah Gold but don’t like the floraly sweetness of it.

I think I would go with Sehr if you want more of a pure Vanilla and Eclaire if you want a lactonic vanilla fragrance! Personally I can’t pick a favorite between those two as they really are two different scent profiles! Also and very important keep in mind that Sehr is a true Unisex fragrance! If I were given a choice of only one for sure…. I would pick Sehr! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi mam, I bought 3 perfumes from your recommendations and they smelled amazing on first day but due to internet hypes for inhouse maceration, I too tried it by Unscrewing the cap and putting my bottles in dark for a month. Now my perfumes have lost all it's notes and become water like. Is there anyway I can recover or reverse the damage of these perfumes? Please help 🥺🥺🥺

@@ArahiWorld I sprayed 5-6 times when I first recieved them and than i kept the bottles in dark dry cupboard for a month without cap. Just today I tried it again and the smell is significantly less than the first day. It's almost like skin scents now
@@RUTUMA oh my! So the caps were supposed to stay on but more then that I wonder if you stored them in a temperature controlled space. Not hot or too warm and not too cold…. Temperature fluctuations break down the chemicals and components in the fragrance and that is what leads to the changes you are describing! Also if you leave the fragrance open and exposed that will definitely happen! What are the 3 fragrances we are discussing if you don’t mind my asking? ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Oh my! I am speechless because all 3 of these fragrances came in almost ready to be used and I have had no real issues reported by anybody in the Fam! And these are pretty strong fragrances! Did you have them in a non temperature fluctuating storage space? I mean the only thing in my experience that will do what you have described to a fragrance is being exposed to direct sunlight and/or non favorable storage conditions. @@ArahiWorldthe official Lattafa site initially had it as a men's perfume then changed it to unisex, hence why some sites have probably copied that info that was first put out. I've seen this happen with notes before too when ME houses have used a template from prior scents and 3rd party retailers copy the wrong notes across. 😂

Got this about two and half weeks ago and I love it. Super beastly on my skin that the scent remained after showering and scrubbing off the area. Longevity is definitely there. However it didn't agree on my wifes body chemistry and it was gone within a few hours. We sprayed Eclaire and topped it with Kamrah Qahwah with a little bit of Ajayeb and it's comparable. Very complex and intriguing but pleasant and rich concoction. SEHR wins it all with the presentation, bottle alone makes it a must have. Thanks for the review and I'm glad this has finally become available to the public.

Great review, Arahi! It was great to see how Sehr compares to so many other fragrances - so helpful! I have to say I am really interested in possibly picking up this fragrance because I am so crazy for this kind of spicy, boozy, woody, nutty vanilla fragrance. I actually recently picked up Mauboussin Star, a fragrance I have never heard anyone talk about, and it is another deep, nutty, cozy vanilla that I can't get enough of. It has made me want to pick up more of these types of fragrances because I find them so comforting. Especially since I'm trying to be more selective in the fragrances I purchase lately, your reviews are so helpful in avoiding the dreaded blind-buy-fail. So I went through so many fragrances in my collection trying to cover as much ground in Vanilla scent profiles as possible but the ones I compared it to came the closest and of Vanille Absolu is the definite winner in my opinion! But this is one that I think most people will love because this scent profile as you stated is just so comforting and like sets you are ease! I wasn’t planning on buying this perfume until I watched your video🤗🤓 I finally got it in and to me it smells like Oudgasm vanilla oud + Shaghaf oud tonka + vanilla 28 mixed together and I love it!🙌🏻🤓 I think anyone that likes those three perfumes would enjoy this one.

Hi sweet lady! Thank you for the review! I finally received my Lattafa Sehr today! The bottle is the most beautiful bottle I own! It's a piece of art. So now, for the scent... I love it! It reminds me a bit of Kismet Angel Maison Alhambra, which is now called Kismet Magic. Not a dupe, but it smells similar to my nose. Kismet Magic is sweeter. They both have cinnamon, amber, tonka bean and vanilla. I also detect some booziness in both even though Sehr has no boozy notes. Sehr is in a class of it's own. Great blind buy! ❤

My Sehr arrives this Friday ! i did have a sample of Montale Vanille Absolute and loved it..but never purchased a full bottle....but it remained on my "wishlist". I am still enjoying Teriaq and Qissa Delicious. Off topic: I did receive Khadlaj- Prestige Royal and compared it to the Fragrance World- Artisan Hibiscus Magic. Well....both are very similar..however I find the Hibiscus Magic is a powerhouse and may be "challenging" to wear..whereas the Prestige Royal is kinda/sorta .."smoother" and easier to wear. No real need to own both...IMHO. Have a great rest of the week ! Thank you...for You ! Peace/Love/Respect xoxo

Sehr puts me in the mind frame of these fragrances all perfectly blended together. Commodity's Milk, Navitus Lost in a Dream, Kilian Angel's Share, Paris Corner's Rifaaqat. Perfect for fall. A must buy, even if it's just for the quality presentation and bottle. Im a gourmand girlie, so another scent like any of the above mentioned is always welcomed😊

Arahi thank you so much for this breakdown! I saw Sehr here in the UK a couple of weeks ago for £30 but I ignored it - the same site has now gauged the price up to £70!!! Kicking myself a bit but I do own and love Vanille Absolu from Montale so not all is lost. I wonder if you’ve tried Sweet Vanilla from Montale? It’s my favourite of all the Montale Vanilla’s, and is a BEAST of a sugary, almost sherbet, delicious vanilla! Edit: I must say I’ve never picked up any cherry or plum from Vanille Absolu and if there is any fruitiness to me at all I’d say it’s a kind of spicy, boozy accord in the background of the pure vanilla extract scent profile

Some say it's a better clone to Yum Pistachio than the Paris Corner's one, I can't compare it because I never sniffed Yum, but I just love when we get to enjoy a scent just for the scent itself and not for being a clone. Sooo I just got my Lattafa sehr! And as soon as I smelled it I said omg this is another khamra! I think it smells just like khamra with a tiny twist of leather and maybe sweeter? More caramel maybe? It’s a beautiful scent, and yes I feel it’s already strong so I can only Imadging how it will be after macerating!

OK I have a content suggestion for you: would you be willing to do a video about Oud? I would want something very basic, what it is and what it smells like. Maybe discuss some examples of oud at different strengths and variations in fragrances you own. The reason I suggest this is I find myself enjoying fragrances with this note, yet I’m not always sure that is what I am smelling? 🤷🏼♀️ And I think oud can have different aromas too, right? People seem to be apprehensive (assume it’s skanky) about this note when I’m not sure they really need to be. Education is always a wonderful thing….and I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone really do this in fragcom. Perhaps especially appropriate since oud seems to be a key component in ME perfumery and we’re all loving your ME content. Anyway….thought I’d ask, I would definitely benefit from such a video. XOXO 😘

Because the note of Oud is not always an intense or acquired taste type of smell! It is, in my opinion, quite a beautiful and special note when done right! Hi Marta! To my nose there is nothing lactonic about this fragrance so I don't get Commodity or Lost In a Dream from it! There is also a level of complexity to the notes found in both Commodity and Lost in a Dream that is just not present in Sehr.... the focus here is Vanilla! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I think I would go with Sehr if you want more of a pure Vanilla and Eclaire if you want a lactonic vanilla fragrance! Personally I can’t pick a favorite between those two as they really are two different scent profiles! Also and very important keep in mind that Sehr is a true Unisex fragrance! If I were given a choice of only one for sure…. I would pick Sehr! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi mam, I bought 3 perfumes from your recommendations and they smelled amazing on first day but due to internet hypes for inhouse maceration, I too tried it by Unscrewing the cap and putting my bottles in dark for a month. Now my perfumes have lost all it's notes and become water like. Is there anyway I can recover or reverse the damage of these perfumes? Please help 🥺🥺🥺

So did you spray out the fragrances when you received them to allow them to macerate?.... or am I understanding correctly that you unscrewed the cap completely and let them sit with the fragrance juice completely exposed? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@ArahiWorld I sprayed 5-6 times when I first recieved them and than i kept the bottles in dark dry cupboard for a month without cap. Just today I tried it again and the smell is significantly less than the first day. It's almost like skin scents now
@@RUTUMA oh my! So the caps were supposed to stay on but more then that I wonder if you stored them in a temperature controlled space. Not hot or too warm and not too cold…. Temperature fluctuations break down the chemicals and components in the fragrance and that is what leads to the changes you are describing! Also if you leave the fragrance open and exposed that will definitely happen! What are the 3 fragrances we are discussing if you don’t mind my asking? ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Oh my! I am speechless because all 3 of these fragrances came in almost ready to be used and I have had no real issues reported by anybody in the Fam! And these are pretty strong fragrances! Did you have them in a non temperature fluctuating storage space? I mean the only thing in my experience that will do what you have described to a fragrance is being exposed to direct sunlight and/or non favorable storage conditions. I've seen this happen with notes before too when ME houses have used a template from prior scents and 3rd party retailers copy the wrong notes across. 😂
