Hello Arahi, 👋 I do have a question: Is the open a vanilla note, or is it a vanillic style Benzoin pulling up from the table note of the Benzoin listed in the base notes? I haven't gotten my nose on this one yet. How long does the vanilla note last, and does it move through the entire wear of the frag? I am more interested in the Plum Liquor accord with Benzoin acting as a little helper. I am glad the 2 frags are different ❤ price point combined with poor performance 😢. These are two factors that are keeping me from purchasing right now. I think I will hunt down a 5ml to sample first. Perhaps the vanilla you pick up is from the benzoin? I love my bottle. I've only tested it on paper to spray it out. I always wait a few weeks at least because I make monthly trays. This will be on deck next month. I was very impressed with the scent on paper and kept sniffing it for days! I was never interested in the OG Teriaq because I don't do Rhubarb.

Hey Arahi ! 😊 I have Cinnamon Rolls and Pistachio Latte and they are super realistic and delicious ！🥰 I got a sample of the Bubblegum Factory and it's too sweet and bubblegum for my taste ...I was almost sure I would't want to smell like this...too sickly sweet really. I got Taskeen Lacta Divina and it's spot on amazing dupe for Bianco Latte ( I love Bianco Latte ) Awesome dupe !! Performs really goo too ! I want to get Teriaq Intense for sure !🤗 Regards from Portugal 🇵🇹❤

I am just starting my ME fragrance journey and Qissa for me was noticeably lactonic and not chocolatey enough. I do need to let it sit though. I just sprayed it out more tonight.

Maybe that is why I didn’t like Rifaqaat and Teriaq- I didn’t let them macerate. Qissa Delicious is still sitting.

Hellooooo my beautiful friend 🥰 I just got a decant of Khadlaj Fursan White and it was an immediate LOVE 🤍🤍🤍🤍 Full bottle ordered. It’s a dupe for Matiere Premiere’s Vanilla Powder (which I have not smelled) and it’s lovely. Not too gourmand. Almost a sort of fresh vanilla? Also have a decant of Teriaq Intense on the way. Had to test, regardless of the reviews. I don’t own Angel’s Share so I figure what the heck 🤷‍♀️ Lastly a sample of Jawhari arrive yesterday. Holy Smokes 🤯 that thing is a beast!!! Does remind me slightly of the OG Mugler Angel, which was my signature in the 90’s. Will probably get a FB once it comes back into stock. Hope you had a fantastic Saturday 🙏

I like BTSO, I have 2 from them , Dirty Heaven and Sin &Pleasure. I like them because they are unique and last a long time on me, I have a hard time with longevity and I get anosmia pretty quickly to fragrances… so I like they are unique

I totally agree with you about the increasing prices...this is why I have been more hesitant to buy fragrances when they're first released, both in order to get more reviews on them beforehand to determine if it's something that I will really love, and to wait for the price to drop. I've also gotten to the point where my fragrance collection is big enough that I only want to add fragrances that are absolute and total loves. I ended up selling lots of fragrances on Mercari that I really did like, but I just didn't look forward to wearing them enough to keep in my collection. Evaluating which fragrances I look forward to wearing the most and which I tend not to reach for as much has also really helped me better identify what purchases are most likely to be loves. For instance, while I appreciate them and enjoy smelling them, I find I just don't reach for floral-heavy fragrances when I'm choosing my fragrance of the day. There are a few exceptions of course, but now I know I shouldn't blind buy fragrances that reviewers identify as heavily floral. I also agree that 2024 has been the year of gourmands! Luckily for me, this year has been really challenging for me, so I'm quite drawn to gourmands because they tend to be so warm and comforting. Of the many new releases you mentioned, I am most curious about Teriaq Intense. While I do really enjoy the original Teriaq, there have been a few days when I don't know if it was too warm or if I oversprayed, but it was just a bit too much. The notes of Teriaq Intense definitely seem like something I would enjoy. Anyway, thanks so much for chatting with us - it's always so fun to hear your thoughts! ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Arahi ! Teriaq Intense is on it's way to me (of course...lol). When I saw & heard about Taskeen Lactea Divina...I thought of Blanche Bete/Bianco Latte type fragrances. (?). I have never tried any from BornToStandOut....yet. The new TF Rose Exposed....sounds very interesting...but a for sure...."sample" first". Theodoros Kalotinis scents have been "iffy" for me. The Maison Mahata- Brownie Pop.....VERY curious !! Have you tried Tom Ford Black Laquer...??? ( I have not..but curious !). Peace/Love/Respect/Blessings/Happiness xoxo

Musammam white intense is very spicy to my nose , i mean spicy more than i can handle 😁 Mohra silky rose was a love at first sniff, i enjoyed it before maceration because within time i hated it , it has a note that grows up and bothered me, i think it's patchouli

I had the opportunity to try out the new TK’s perfumes. The pistachio latte one is SO DELICIOUS OMG, incredible nutty and yummy. Cinnamon roll is delectable. Unfortunately the bubblegum one is straight up just bubblegum with little nuisances.

You are right about the gourmands, it has not been my thing to begin with, ( maybe only the pistachios )no offense to everyone who loves it. I cant stand the Teriaq OG so i am not even going to try the intense😅

I blind bought evasión bon bon since the samples were sold out lol. However I used a discount lol. I have 12 by the btso brand now lol. I enjoy them particularly ( Dirty heaven , Angels’, Powder, Drunk Saffron , happy nuts,).

I have to admit I have a large enough collection that I am picky about what I get even just decants but I have no choice as there are very limited perfume shop options where I live. Decants are the way to go bc you can bring those to us to determine "full bottle worthiness." This will also help send a message to the frag houses to hopefully reduce their prices. You could also direct us to a "decanter" distributor that you trust. I am waiting for black friday to pick up 2 of the Theodoros Kalotinis frags. Great video. ❤

Since the tarrifs have been announced, the prices of fragrances will increase substantially. Get ahead of it as soon as you can because once it takes effect..... Whew!! I've been holding out until my birthday but it looks like January/ February will be that month to buy like a Rockstar!😂😂😂

Amen regarding Gourmand Fatigue. 😊And I love gourmand fragrances, don't get me wrong, but I feel like the market is being oversaturated with them. So I will most likely pass over this latest batch, unless the fragrance profile is unique and not redundant for my collection. I have Taskeen Lactea Divana along with Blanche Bête. I find the Taskeen to be sweeter and really, really strong. BB is more delicate, I can pick up more florals, and it is a bit smoother and more well- rounded, IMO. Would I be able to tell the difference in the air? I'm not sure. 🤔 Taskeen is certainly a good dupe, though.
