*UPDATED ON FEB.14.2023* HEY GUYS! Just wanted to let you know I have been cutting out a few questions that I feel are not as important or that I have updated on other videos so, this video has less than 30 questions now.
A wonderful person you are!😃
A way to remember the difference between ligament and a tendon is that when you think of tendon think of “t-bone” the steak where bone is connected with meat. Think of T for tendon. I hope this makes sense!
🚨Thanks so much, this is very helpful my friend!!!
Yes I love it! Makes more sense this way and easy to remember.😊☺️
I think of Achmed the dead terrorist 😂😂 he yells “My ligaments!!”
Strangely enough, the only reason why I remember this difference is because of the very very old comedy skit with Jeff Dunham's puppet named Achmed. He was a skeleton and one of the things he would say is "I need LIGAMENTS!" lmaoooo whatever works right??
"BBL" is how i remember Bone to Bone is Ligament lol --- it helps me remember
They say third times a charm, am officially passed my ATI TEAS 🎉🎉🎈 for all my repeat test takers don't give up and don't be discouraged

@@thetutor_geek I’m watching all your videos, but why cardiovascular is so hard to memorize, is there any easy way?😃

Thanks for this helpful video! I'm finishing prereqs and starting to prep for the teas...but don't really know where to start. Definitely subscribing and going to be watching one of your practice videos every day. Any advice on how else to study? There's so much content out there that I'm confused on what to buy and who's advice to follow. I'd appreciate any input 😉
Hi,I would first get a hold of the list of topics you need to study. I think ATI has the list on their website and I have a list that I'll be posting this week. I got all the information off the Official ATI TEAS website so it's updated and reliable.
Other than that, I would get your hands on as many practice questions as you can. There a ton of free questions here on RUclips.
Also, I have a playlist (TEAS 7 Review) that has all my videos for studying each topic. Although, I don't have all topics so you will have to jump around to another resource.
Also, if you're looking for a good online course I recommend looking into Smart Edition. There link is in my description.
Hope this helps! Let me know if you have further questions:)
@@thetutor_geek thanks so much!! I'll keep that in mind. I was also looking at smart edition stuff
good job
THANK YOU FOR YOUR FEEDBACK! HAPPY STUDIES MY FRIEND :)
Isn't vasodilation something that causes the increase of blood flow, not the other way around? The vessels have to dilate first to increase the flow of blood. I don't know.
Hi, you're totally right. Sorry I didn't catch that when making this video. Vasodilation does come first then increase blood flow.
❤
Would the cerebellum be voluntary? Medulla oblongata is involuntary
Hi, yes you are correct.
MEDULLA OBLONGATA controls involuntary activities such as respiration rate, heart are and controls the contraction of smooth muscle in blood vessels (controls blood pressure).
CEREBELLUM controls voluntary muscle movement.
I take my teas next week thank you for this 😊❤🙏
NP, best wishes on taking your exam next week! ✨✨✨💗
How did it go?
How was the test ?
@@valerieshorter6691 Hey i passed mine so let me know if you need help
@@wisdomfx4534 I’m taking mines soon how can I get in touch with you????
Hi just stumbled on you and I subscribed. I have Teas to write before September 25th. What’s the best study guide? Will appreciate your help.
Hi 👋🏼 I recommend getting the official ATI TEAS study manual. You can find it on the ATI website. Use it as a reference on WHAT to study. It doesn’t do a great job at Explaining, I only like to use it as a reference on what topics will actually be on the exam. so I would definitely use other resources such as RUclips for LEARNING these topics.
Hope this helps!! 🤓
What’s vasodilation?
Hello pls wanted to ask if SmartEdition course with practice question is a good material to only use to prepare for the TEAS exam or also advisable to get both the ATI TEAS Practice assessment test?
Hi, I’ve taken a thorough look at smart editions study guide and I am confident that you will do great with that AS LONG AS YOU ADD PRACTICE QUESTIONS FROM DIFFERENT SOURCES. Reason being, although SE covers most material on the TEAS- it does not cover 100% of it. So I like to use practice questions from different sources to get a well rounded study for the exam. I don’t think it’s necessary to buy the ATI TEAS assessment test.
@@thetutor_geek Thank you so much, I’m about to purchase the Smart edition course, also wanted to ask if someone can purchase the Smart edition course on my behalf
Inspired by Nanc’s comment.. tendons sound like tenders which reminds me of chicken tenders. eat some chicken tenders to get muscle on your bones. ** so tendons attach muscle to bone! :)
Lol- I love this and I love chicken tenders!
The tympanic membrane is the eardrum inner ear-I’m confused
Yes, I am seeing that it is part of the middle ear, not external. Which one?
Did not know the ear was part of the test, it’s on none of the study guides
I didn't see it on the study manual but a question similar to this one was on the ATI TEAS 7 practice test.
Teas exam is really difficult and frustrating, i can't believe I failed again after studying so hard
Teas exam is really difficult and frustrating I just failed the exam. I can't begin to articulate the level of shame and anguish I'm feeling. I trust that I will be a good teas student. I just need to get through this, move on and persevere.
@@jamesdavis9266 You will pass everyone has their own season, just keep going pray and believe you will receive yours, Mr Felix can be off help
Is he available on telegram?
thanks for your help! You think this would help with TEAS 6 exam? I know TEAS 7 doesn't start until June.
Hi, yes I totally think this will help with TEAS 6. Teas 7 has a bit more emphasis on chemistry as far as science goes. These question topics are still very relevant to TEAS 6.
@@thetutor_geek wow thanks so much for the quick reply! I was wondering besides from the videos, do you offer any tutoring? lol
@@quocle4487 no worries! No, I don’t offer private tutoring at the moment 😕. But if you have any questions or need help with anything specific ask alway 😄 BTW are you using a study guide book of any sort that is guiding you on what topics to study?
Do you have any suggestions on how to pass the teas ? I've taken it 4 times and haven't passed.
I would focus on your weakest points...and do as many practice questions as you can. Don't give up, I know a few people who have also taken more than 4 times. You got this, just put your focus on the right things.
Is it a memorization test
Yes memorization is essential for passing this test! Also understanding the physiological mechanisms behind anatomy is going to come in handy !
Is there somewhere i can print these questions?
Hi, sorry I don’t have any printable version.
is it TEAS 6 if i have a test this month? or TEAS 7? i thought TEAS 7 arent till june?
TEAS 7 is released in June. If you take your exam this month, you will be taking the TEAS6. These questions are all updated for the TEAS7 however the same topics will be on the TEAS 6.
@@thetutor_geek thanks 👍
Do you think purchasing the practice tests and practice questions from the ati website and just studying from that will get you to pass the actual exam??
I think buying the practice questions is sufficient. As long as you have a reliable study resource (like RUclips or textbook) you can study from. The reason I say this is, the questions will give you a good idea of what topics will be on the exam but they don’t do a good job at teaching or explaining the topics. You’ll need to find your own reliable resource for the teaching part.
Hope this helps.
@@thetutor_geek Yes it does thank you. The school I'm looking to apply to requires a 55% or better passing score. I recently took my TEAS and scored a 54.7% Bummer and so close. So I am more than motivated to score a lot better. thank you again.
i take mine in two days help plss
