Excellent footage of a noob captain and no I'm not mocking lol I love it when I witness new players encountering stuff for the first time. They're precious moments, cherish them.
what crabbles said. when the sonar monitor/nav terminal starts to break, it starts displaying a sort of kaleidoscope effect where things are mirrored on every side
Lmao it reminds me the first time with Charybdis when I was the only one to know it and my crew were keeping asking who was constantly screaming and hitting the sub. I yelled them to don't look to the guns and keep repairing while I was steering. We even dropped some sonar decois, but that fucker followed us for a kilometre. In the end, while the pressure was crushing us, in our final moments, I said very calmly: Gentlemen, welcome to Barotrauma * splat *
Im dutch and it took me a good minute to realise these people are speaking flamish or dutch LMFAO i was like ''why do i recognize this language? oh its my own''
I'm pretty sure that's the reaction of even seasoned captains at that point. It was certainly my reaction when an endworm ripped the entire top of the sub off the other day. I was busy repairing a junction box when all of sudden I was staring out into the vast nothingness as the sub rapidly sank out of view. But hey, at least I was safe from the worm.
There is nothing in the abyss. Because of that, everyone in the abyss hears you...

Me hopping directly into modded servers kind of ruined that.
The fact that there was another monster below the ship too- priceless.
No, that's because their sonar is breaking.
