Family, Friends and fans came together to remember and celebrate the life of Mandisa, the beloved Christian singer and former “American Idol” contestant, who passed away at the age of 47.
The funeral and life celebration service held at Brentwood Baptist Church on Saturday morning, saw an outpouring of love and support from family, church members, and mourners alike, as they celebrated the life of a singer whose voice and spirit touched many hearts.
What a beautiful celebration for sweet and beautiful Mandisa ❤
Praise the Lord she was able to reach as many as she could and blessed those with a beautiful smile and kind word she is such a joy to meet
Thank you God for sending us Mandisa. Thank you our loving Father. Distant or near, Mandisa touched everyone who knew her with the love of God. Sorely missed by this broken heart 💔 Mandisa, sleep sweetly. You will always be remembered. Your legacy lives on.

The casket is opened "here in America too," as people enter to view...and stay open unless family asks it to stay closed throughout the service...then opened at the end for family's final viewing....BUT MAYBE I MISUNDERSTOOD YOUR COMMENT. If so, my apologies.
@@SheliaRPierreI think when they start walking around is when the casket is open 😢😢 I don't think anybody allows a casket to be open while the speaker the person talking is on stage I don't think
