Story 1: Never EVER do any kind of work for free... especially any kind of babysitting for people you don't know that well. If anyone is a bad friend here, its the mom, not the OP. Also, dont pull the "single mom" and "you work from home" cards here too. I hate it when people do that to others. Good on the OP for not putting up with this lady or the "mommy group" either. They should watch over those kids if they are so uptight over the OP's response here. Honestly, if i were the OP, i would just block this lady and anyone on her side. Screw them all. Story 2: Yeah that landlord is a scumbag here. Glad the OP made sure to get it all in writing and made official by a lawyer too.... but regardless, the landlord is responsible for repairs one way or another, not the OP. Also, just because the OP is an "engineer" of any kind, why does that mean the OP is automatically qualified to do this kind of stuff? I never understand that way of thinking. At least the OP charged his current wages and got paid for it all. Story 3: Yeah, i would've just kept calling the tow truck on these people here.... no matter who they are. If they are not tenants or did not get any official reason to park there, then you have a legal right ot get their vehicles towed away. Encasing all those cars in blocks of ice is pretty funny but i wouldn't have done that, especially by the streets. A great way to get someone to slip while walking and opening yourself up for a ton of legal issues there. Story 4: Yeah, it sounds to me here that some busybody neighbour went and complained to the city about the garden here being an "eyesore" or a "nuisance" and thats the reason why the OP got a letter from the city. Good on the OP for talking to their local nature society and basically got their garden protected. Well done i say. Story 5: Of course.... yet another case of a new manager or owner that comes in that has to ruin things for everybody here. Why does this almost always seem to happen? Just leave your employees alone. Good work by the OP for having malicious compliance here..... and getting a new job too.
I mean seriously how messed up could that be? If she can afford a new BMW that she can literally easily get someone else to hire. Honestly that's like ridiculous. It's beyond words and they should be ashamed of themselves.
How dare a child free person have their own life! The nerve of some people to sit around watching TV when they could be watching children! Some villagers are so entitled and won't do as I say.
1. I can understand asking, but demanding? Have they told their mutual friend about it? 2. Great example of malicious compliance and ignorance toward professions. 3. I'd also get pictures of the license plates just to be sure all were known in the event some were able to exit by the morning. 4. Seems curious how the city didn't seem to even visit once. Makes me wonder who contacted them. 5. The least they could do is see how the group works and interacts with each other before deciding who's out of a job, and that's even before dictating when their hours are.
Honestly, I would rather watch a furbaby than human kids any day. Sue me. Look, my mom was a single mom as well and she struggled with a lot of stuff to raise me, but never, EVER, in a million years she ever considered bothering someone who wasn't even a friend just because it would be convenient to her. Hell, she rarely ever needed because she was always the type that could find a solution herself. "It takes a village" Sure, sure... And when did OP decided to JOIN said village?
That first story, the poster is a straight up comedian
Fr laughing my ass off

This lady just want free babysitter and she got new BMW.
If she can afford a new car of any kind, much less a BMW, then she can afford to pay for babysitting. Don't pull the "single mom" BS here.
@@QuickManEXE exactly

😂
If he’s supposedly a bad friend where’s the logic in her wanting him to watch them! 😂
Eeyyyy, so glad to see another video here! Cheers everyone!
What a good solution, parking in her driveway

Agreed
Single mom isnt a coupon code, and people who try and use it as one can screw off.
Hm. Well. That lady is going down once she realizes shit ain't free.

No I'm not laughing, I found your 'jokes' to be tasteless at best. That said I don't disagree that you didn't have to watch the kids.
