Hi! I love your positive attitude to what can be a dismal couple of months. I’ve tweaked my Christmas wreath and kept it on my door, we also have a lit twig tree which stays out for a while. I make soups, bread , and casseroles in my slow cooker. I enjoy real hot chocolate (not a powdered mix.) I wear thermal layers and cosy socks and jumpers. We plan holidays and days out. And I try to walk every day, but weather permitting! ( in the UK) Take care and enjoy!
I'm from Argentina and we are in summer at the moment, is so difficult for me because I'm team winter 😆 Can't wait to be in my couch, surrounded by my beloved cats, with a warm blanket and a book. And if it's raining, it would be the perfect day!
Your house has a warm and loving vibe, I really admire the effort and dedication you put in it. Since I became a minimalist I'm creating a good environment that nourishing my soul. Sometimes is so difficult for me to leave my house, I really love to being there! It's my happy and safe place 😆🤗
I think the smaller lanterns may be a better fit so they don't tilt on the rug. Adding LED candles would really finish it off. Love the vibe of this video. You're so talented. Be sure to show us the framed watercolor in an upcoming video.
Hi Ashlynne, great video! The coffee sounded delicious. For the sauce, don't bother with the 'shire' part, we call it 'wuh-stah' sauce over here. (Hope that made sense!) Have a great day. 😁
For the lanterns, I’d suggest either layering a large and a small together or moving the lantern to the right to a spot in front of your bench, so it staggers.
Wow, so cozy! You’re so talented as well. :) I recently watched Mary Skinner’s video about winter and how you can make it extra cozy and fun. Definitely recommend watching that :)
Greetings from the Netherlands ✨ Cold season is a perfect time for a latte. I missed the opportunity to visit coffee shops during the COVID lockdown. And I'm so happy that this year I can go there with my friends ❤❤❤ I love natural textures! And those wooden serving board looks amazing!
I wish we had trader joes in the UK - the closest we have is whole foods but they don’t have the same stuff. You have such a great eye for doing the flowers - the low vase with eucalyptuses looks so cute. That painting is so adorable! ❤
Really lovely and very cozy. Love your vases with eucalyptus and your painting. The lanterns outside are looking fine to me, but a big bold (fake) candle in them would help a lot I think or some dried eucalyptus with a candle. Thanks for this cozy feeling video ❤
Your home looks amazing already 💕❤️where did u get the greens from? Did u put water in all the vases? And how long do they last n how often do u have to change the water?
Can you hang the lanterns in the corners and get the smaller ones for say the left side of the door and an outdoor sculpture statue for the right side. or you could get some kinds of stands, one on the stand and one on the ground. You might like gold babies breath in the lanterns with the flameless candles hanging.... just throwin ideas 😉😉😉 Love that you pray
Really enjoyed this video and your home is looking so cosy :) You mention in the video you use barley in your stew but I see the linked recipe doesn't. Could you maybe give me an idea of how much barley you use in your stew and do you use red wine like the recipe linked (I don't really like the taste of alcohol in food). Thank you
I add 1/3 cup barley! And I do use red wine. You can’t even taste it in the stew (and my husband is the same way as you, so I’m sure he’d say someone if the yeast came through) 🤍
Happy New Year 😊 Would you recommend the bread maker you have? Is it worth storing an additional appliance? Fresh warm bread this season really sounds sooo good.
So here are my thoughts 1) wouldn’t necessarily recommend this specific bread maker (it was given to us by a friend, but the quality isn’t amazing), but 2) if you really enjoy homemade bread I think it’s worth it! We use ours a lot, especially during the winter. Totally depends on it’s you have space for it though and how much you’d use it 🤍
It’s hard to tell with the lanterns. I almost wanna say the smaller size so it’s not an overcrowded doorway. That being said however, the gold color does goes very nicely in that area. Since you return things, maybe get the smaller ones and test them both, then return the ones that don’t fit?
Hi Ashlynne! Your music choices in this video made me feel all relaxed and cozy! Can you please list the songs and artists, because I’d love to download this music if it’s available?
Do you ever take reusable bags to the store? For all your talk about low-waste, I only remember seeing you use plastic grocery bags in every other video.
Are you doing anything to get cozy for winter? 🤍
Yep! Organizing the entire house.
Stringing twinkle lights! Perfect for dark evenings and not to Christmas-y.
Heck no. I'm over here preparing for spring. After New Years I'm so done with winter. Lol.

I think this is my favorite video of yours yet! Homemaking is such a beautiful art, and it’s fun to watch an artist at work. Happy winter!

Aww I love that!!
your painting is especially beautiful!
I don't know what it is about your videos but I absolutely love watching them. I always get excited when you post a new video
I’m leaning toward the smaller lanterns also. Loving your videos! Your flower arrangements are beautiful!

Thank you so much for sharing! And glad you enjoyed it 🤍
I love all your videos...so cozy and sweet vibes.
Love your videos and that you are so positive! Thank you!
What a lovely day! Love the technique with the toothbrush for adding snow! Watching you paint (even sped up) was so relaxing - beautiful!
Aww I’m so glad to hear that!! And yeah I had to speed it up because the whole thing took me +30 minutes 🤍
I agree smaller lantern, but large look great too! Either way.
Hygge videos are my favorite 🥹💗 Thank you for the cozy vibes on these gray days!
Aww of course!!
Hi Ashlynne, great video! The coffee sounded delicious. For the sauce, don't bother with the 'shire' part, we call it 'wuh-stah' sauce over here. (Hope that made sense!) Have a great day. 😁
For me, the size of the lanterns are already okay in the doorway. 😊💜
For the lanterns, I’d suggest either layering a large and a small together or moving the lantern to the right to a spot in front of your bench, so it staggers.
This video was truly a perfect way to appreciate the season.
Such a lovely video! Candles, coffees, and blankets are my favorites to get through our Ohio winters.
Yes, I think smaller lanterns will look great!! I love your winter decor! Your home is so beautiful! ✨
Thank you for this cozy heartwarming video! 🥰
I love decorating with greenery and flowers all thru the year! I hope you continue to share more ideas during this year🤩 Love from Norway.
I’m cozying up under my weighted blanket!!

You are so inspiring! Thank you for uplifting me on my drudgy days xxx
Wow, so cozy! You’re so talented as well. :) I recently watched Mary Skinner’s video about winter and how you can make it extra cozy and fun. Definitely recommend watching that :)
Love the lanterns they are beautiful. Plus at Christmas, you can put fairy lights in them.

I love natural textures! And those wooden serving board looks amazing!
Love your porch decor! Where are florals in your white planters from? I want to recreate this by my front door!
Great job on your cozy winter video! An incredible winner for you, Ashlynne!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much!!
You’re welcome!
I love this video ❤️
I wish we had trader joes in the UK - the closest we have is whole foods but they don’t have the same stuff. You have such a great eye for doing the flowers - the low vase with eucalyptuses looks so cute. That painting is so adorable! ❤
Don't forget reusable bags

So glad you enjoyed it! And thank you so much for the ideas!!
Emma Myers vibes 😁

Do you have to cut the leaves at the bottom of the eucalyptus before you insert them in the vase? 🤔
Hi Ashlynne! I am your avid fan for two years now. Im interested to know what podcast app do you use? I would like to listen to podcast too.
Can you hang the lanterns in the corners and get the smaller ones for say the left side of the door and an outdoor sculpture statue for the right side. or you could get some kinds of stands, one on the stand and one on the ground. Love that you pray
Yes you pronounced Eryngium correctly! Also known as sea holly. Very pretty and prickly.
I think that one light on the left side will be enough. You can't see the light on the ride side anyways, because of the little seating area.
As someone who lives in Worcester, you nailed it with Worcestershire sauce 😊
Haha thank you!! I used to live not too far from Worcester, MA so I think that helped 😅
wherde did you get that perfekt basic vase?
Really enjoyed this video and your home is looking so cosy :) You mention in the video you use barley in your stew but I see the linked recipe doesn't. I would keep one larger one for in front of the bench

Great ideas

I think that’s what I’m going to do 🤍
Hi Ashlynne! Your music choices in this video made me feel all relaxed and cozy! Can you please list the songs and artists, because I’d love to download this music if it’s available?
Aww so glad to hear that!! All the songs are from Epidemic Sound 🤍
Could you please tell me where your necklace is from in this video?
Oooops! As I was typing this, you answered. Sorry. And thank you 😊
Love you so much and loved this video. You are so helpful. (Kind feedback … new eyebrows are a bit dark. Washes out your porcelain skin a bit.)
Do you ever take reusable bags to the store? For all your talk about low-waste, I only remember seeing you use plastic grocery bags in every other video.
Smaller lanterns would look better I think. Feels a bit to crowded with the bigger ones. Nice design tho, feels very you.
Thank you for the input!! I think I agree 🤍
I’m a little shocked your Trader Joe’s has plastic bags. Boo! Where we live we use reusable or they offer recyclable paper.
