FIRST: I am a moron. Give this a watch to see how I am the direct cause for the check engine light to be shining brightly on the dash of my 911.
SECOND: The iCarSoft Por v2.0 is an intuitive diagnostic tool for DIY enthusiasts with the Porsches. If you have a 997 or newer, the only way to reset the 'Service Now' message on your dash is with a diagnostic tool like this one my iCarSoft... OR you can go spend hundreds each time at the Porsche dealership.
THIRD: checking and clearing CELs (check engine lights) on your 997 can surely be done with a basic OBD2 reader, but it only makes sense to go ahead and invest in a proper diagnostic tool like the iCarSoft Por v2.0 since it can do so much more.
My 911 was in need of these things being taken care of, and I had heard good things about the iCarSoft unit for performing Service Reset from the Facebook groups and forums. Happily, I'm reporting positive impressions of it myself...
Been on the prowl looking for an off road Cayenne to build now that the 996 is nearly done thanks... 😂

Thank you for the video!. Unrelated to this video, what kind of oil pressure does your car have?. I had a 996.1 that had higher oil pressures done my 997.2.
It fluctuates more than my 996 did I think. I’ll run outside and record a cold start video and show the gauges and will post it as a short.
I turned off "beep" in settings on my iCarsoft

He is killing it right now! I can’t deny that. Last year it really was all about P2 and down (except Singapore). This year Checo is fairly consistent so far, so P3 and down is where I’m watching. Except Australian of course.
