Here is the original audio recording. I will share my recording procedure: I play through once and film that, then mime the rest from different angles. I don't find this very ground shaking because I only own one camera and artists do the same for music videos. The entire video contains my playing and is therefore not solely mimed. It's a shame that my effort to recreate Muse's sound led to this.

Matt Bellamy is unique. But about the sound men, this is quite perfect. You can like or dislike, but this is a super reproduction of Matt's sound. Respect Dude

I noticed my tones sound bad irl too but if I record its good. I did a blackout live recording with the fuzz factory air raid and everything and it sounded spot on in recording even though I thought it was shit when I played it. Thanks for the pic settings.
Dude, even with speakers, it is easy to hear your guitar synched up with his, like I hear two of them. The sounds looks different indeed. But sure it's not perfectly synched but like 99% synched up to my ears it seams.

If you listen to the recording carefully you'll notice matt doesn't go back to the E string. So I'd say either whammy, or play an octave and "alternate hi-low" :P

That guitar looks brutally expensive.
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that most studio artists record their guitars through a good mic. This is just how I do it.
