Isn't it interesting and kind of nice that in a way, with our having to stay inside to protect each other that we're afforded the opportunity to take care of ourselves in ways that we don't typically? Like, how amazing is it that we can get all dressed up literally just for ourselves and that that can make us feel better? Don't get me wrong, what's going on is no joke and not so easy for everybody, but I think it's also important to acknowledge the good that's going on--even if it's little things. :)

Slightly avoiding work by watching this and painting my press-on nails. The rest of me looks like a gross potato sack, but my nails are classy af. 😆 I also indulged in a treat from my childhood, and eBay'd an old teen magazine that I literally used to own as a kid in 2005. However, I was definitely not into feminine things then, so the fashion, jewelry, and makeup tutorials were lost on me. Now as an adult, they're the cutest cringy looks ever, I love them and am finally capable of recreating them lol. The celebrities in the magazine are nonexistent now (Ashlee Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, 50 Cent, Aaron Carter 😂) And not to hate on the makeup, but I actually appreciate how the magazine promoted soft looks and not a lot of products - just eyeshadows, mascara, blush, and lip gloss. Idk why, it's very precious and comforting to read again, and reminds me a lot of your old makeup tutorials. 🤗
