The reason for NATO bombing is INACCURATE. In truth, NATO did it bc they wanted to show its power and put a foreign US base in territory of Serbia. They stated that the reason was supposed humanitarian catastrophe, as they would many times afterwards. In truth there was NO humanitarian catastrophe. There was a terrorist force that they founded, trained and armed in Albania and sent over the border into Serbia or Yugoslavia back then. That force was made of local Albanians but was trained in Albania. That's why they were called terrorists and not invaders. Anyway, that force attacked serbian military and police forces and ofc those forces retaliated. And not even as strong as they should have. Ask in US what they do to terrorists, and what they would have done in this situation. Not only that you would have never heard of these terrorists bc they would have been obliterated on the spot but US would have prob attacked a neighboring country that provided its territory for training of these ppl. After all, that was pretense for going into Afghanistan after 9/11. So, your comment on the NATO air raids is almost completely false. Also, there is NO Kosovo as a country. Right now, Kosovo and Metohija is a Serbia's province that NATO, read US occupied and doesn't allow us to control our territory. For this reason only US deserves to be at war with half of the world bc they have 800 military bases on foreign soil.
Thank you for your valuable comment and input. I am aware of the Anti-Serb Kosovo Liberation Army which is declared as a terrorist group. The 45 ethnic Albanians killed in the Račak massacre were allegedly KLA terrorists. Among those 45, 1 child and a few women were killed. So, I am not wrong in this video. They are still "Alleged" but the fact is that 45 were killed which swayed the sentiments against Serbia. I didn't delve into the details of the Kosovo War in this video to avoid controversies. 😊 I hope you understand.

Also, an independent comission's findings led by a Finish forensics doctor, Helena Ranta has proven that all ppl in so called Račak massacre had wepons' powder residue on their hands, which means they all descharged weapons prior to being killed and that all of them were killed in a fight. Very well made and non biased video 👏🏼 Serbia truly is a hidden gem when it comes to tourism, so please do come again and explore other parts of the country as well. There is a lot of history to explore (Golubac fortress, Novi Sad fortress, Niš fortress, skull tower, there is also a lot more historical landmarks in Belgrade). Roman emperor Constantine the Great, and six other Roman emperors were born in Modern day Serbia (the most outside of Rome). There are also a lot of national parks and beautiful country side (check out Uvac, Tara, Fruška Gora, Zlatibor). And if you thought that Belgrade was cheap, you will love the prices in the rest of Serbia.

Lovely, very historically thorough and acurate video, thank you. The only error is that the fortress was actually there before the Romans. Some say the Celts built it, but this is typical logical fallacy of those trying to change history, claiming that it is invaders and not locals that built massive defensive forts. 😉 The truth is the fortress was never properly excavated and analyzed so we don't know how old it really is. But definitely since before Romans.
Thank you, Marija for the lovely comment. I have also read that there was a citadel/city at the site of the fortress before the Romans. Although the Celtic tribes built an early fortress around the 3rd century BC, it was a primitive one. So, almost all of the Celtic fortress (Singidunum) has been destroyed/buried below. The fortress walls that you see today don't really have any Celtic era remains. However, they do have the remains from the Roman time. Therefore, I said that Belgrade Fortress was built by the Romans. If I am not wrong, some sources say that the Romans built the fort right over the area where Celtic Fort was. So, they haven't really excavated any remains. I also mentioned in the video about the Vinča culture that is over 7000 years old. So, quite possibly there would be something around the Kalemagden area and probably a fort built before the Celts.

Dear sir, I usually don't leave comments about this, but after that I have watched this video I really want to tell you: Congratulations on both clever and friendly report about Serbia and Belgrade. I don't know if you already knew about it, but our people are connected even though the language. The following video is about that connection in general (between sanskrit and slavic languages), but the connection between Serbian and Sanskrit is even stronger. I guess it tells about the ancient times when we were even strongly connected by blood. Most of Serbs have I2 haplotype (mutation on y chromosome which can show the male ancestors line) followed by R1a and in ither Slavic countries it's R1a as the most common one. In western Europe that haplogroup is very rare (there is a domination of R1b). Thanks for recommending this video. I was really surprised by the striking similarity between Sanskrit and Serbian. I knew that the Lithuanian language was very close to Sanskrit as it is obvious. For example, the Lithuanian word for "god" is "Dievas", which is very similar to the Sanskrit word "deva". However, I was surprised to see so many similarities between Slavic languages and Sanskrit, especially the counting system. It's not very obvious though.
@@WalknTalkVlogs Yes, that's right, hello! For instance, serbian word for death is smrt, on Sanskrit it's smriti (-how it's pronounced, i.e. ee for i). The main haplotype (mutation on the Y chromosome which makes it possible to follow the parental line) in India is R1a if I saw it right, which is one of the main ones in all Slavic nations, while very rare in the west Europe (as I already mentioned). And language similarities ALWAYS go hand in hand with it.

Thanks for pointing them out. Yes. I am aware that Serbian language uses both Cyrillic and Latin. However, on a broad sense (and a bit of political sense) I referred that Serbian uses Cyrillic font. For example, a lot of road signs or posters in Serbia are in Cyrillic font. On the other hand, in Montenegro road signs in Latin are more common. Serbian and Montenegrin are basically the same language. But they are considered separate language for political reasons.
Serbia was fighting the Albanian militants (KLA/UCK) which started the killings, kidnappings and torture. The KLA was even assassinating other Albanians who still had jobs with the Serbian state - especially policemen, but also their families, as well as Albanians which didn't support them - such as wealthy Albanians who didn't give them money. The KLA was caught red-handed dragging the bodies of Serbs they killed in Klecka to makeshift crematoriums in July 1998. That was several months before the NATO bombing. Serbia was fighting these terrorists (who were trained by U.S./NATO on bases in Turkey, Germany, Austria) with mainly the police. The Serbian army only went in when it noticed U.S./NATO forces congregating along its borders and thought there would be a ground invasion. This was a few months before the bombing. Most of the media "news" was lies or gross exaggerations. They had the number killed up to over 50 times what actually happened, and they had to add in deaths of the militants/soldiers as well as the ethnic Albanians kidnapped killed by the KLA (and even recently Albanians have been testifying of their relatives tortured in KLA camps in Northern Albanian during the war - so Albania hosted some of the KLA's camp), as well as the Serbs killed and kidnapped/missing by the KLA, plus the Roma/Gypsy - who've even listed the names of their people killed by the KLA but listed by Albanians as Albanians killed by Serbs (because the Kosovo Roma had Albanian-style names) - and the Albanians did systematically burn down the Roma neighborhoods once they (& NATO) got full control. Albanians also killed and cleansed Montenegrins in Kosovo, and they even attacked the small community of Kosovo Croats. They killed a Croat farmer and attempted to rape a Croat girl, so the Croats wrote letters to Croatia's then president Tudjman, and finally after a couple months, Tudjman sent a plane to pick up the Croats and bring them to Croatia. The plane was sent in the middle of the night to Skopje, Macedonia's capital so there'd be no press pictures - got to protect the reputation of the Albanian terrorists. Kosovo Albanians later joined ISIS and al Nusra where they were featured in videos cutting off the heads of Syrians and Kurds. This includes Kosovo Albanians who worked at U.S.'s base in Kosovo (& U.S. had contracted to build that base before the bombing of Serbia, so it had plans to steal the land already).

Hi! First of all thanks for watching the video. The video title was a satire of the incidents. If you have watched the video completely, you would see that the real intent of the video. As for the borders, the software I used for animation was an American one and I live in Ireland. Just for your information, the borders of different countries are shown differently as you change your location. For example, parts of Kashmir are shown as disputed/parts of Pakistan outside India. However, in India, it's shown parts of India. This is exactly the reason India supports Serbia on matters with Kosovo. So, the map you saw was not intentional. I really didn't think this video would be watched by so many people. I am new to vlogging. So, I will take care in the future. Thanks for youe inputs and comments.

Very well made and non biased video 👏🏼 Serbia truly is a hidden gem when it comes to tourism, so please do come again and explore other parts of the country as well. There is a lot of history to explore (Golubac fortress, Novi Sad fortress, Niš fortress, skull tower, there is also a lot more historical landmarks in Belgrade). Roman emperor Constantine the Great, and six other Roman emperors were born in Modern day Serbia (the most outside of Rome). There are also a lot of national parks and beautiful country side (check out Uvac, Tara, Fruška Gora, Zlatibor). And if you thought that Belgrade was cheap, you will love the prices in the rest of Serbia.

What really happened is that a strong group of albanian terrorists were killed in police and military action an later dressed up by albanians as civilians thus produced a "case of civilians being murdered" which was escuse for USA to bomb us for various geopolitical and other reasons.

Lovely, very historically thorough and acurate video, thank you. The only error is that the fortress was actually there before the Romans. Some say the Celts built it, but this is typical logical fallacy of those trying to change history, claiming that it is invaders and not locals that built massive defensive forts. 😉
The truth is the fortress was never properly excavated and analyzed so we don't know how old it really is. But definitely since before Romans.
Thank you, Marija for the lovely comment. I have also read that there was a citadel/city at the site of the fortress before the Romans. Although the Celtic tribes built an early fortress around the 3rd century BC, it was a primitive one. So, almost all of the Celtic fortress (Singidunum) has been destroyed/buried below.
The fortress walls that you see today don't really have any Celtic era remains. However, they do have the remains from the Roman time. Therefore, I said that Belgrade Fortress was built by the Romans.
If I am not wrong, some sources say that the Romans built the fort right over the area where Celtic Fort was. So, they haven't really excavated any remains.
I also mentioned in the video about the Vinča culture that is over 7000 years old. So, quite possibly there would be something around the Kalemagden area and probably a fort built before the Celts.
Nice video, bit i wouldnt call Belgrafe non tourist city... It is quite diverse and actually having tourism boost in recent years. And you haven't even visited Ada or Belgrade beach or new Waterfront area with largest mall in South- Eastern Europe :))

Congratulations on both clever and friendly report about Serbia and Belgrade.
I don't know if you already knew about it, but our people are connected even though the language. The following video is about that connection in general (between sanskrit and slavic languages), but the connection between Serbian and Sanskrit is even stronger. I guess it tells about the ancient times when we were even strongly connected by blood. Most of Serbs have I2 haplotype (mutation on y chromosome which can show the male ancestors line) followed by R1a and in ither Slavic countries it's R1a as the most common one. In western Europe that haplogroup is very rare (there is a domination of R1b).

Thanks for recommending this video. I was really surprised by the striking similarity between Sanskrit and Serbian. I knew that the Lithuanian language was very close to Sanskrit as it is obvious. For example, the Lithuanian word for "god" is "Dievas", which is very similar to the Sanskrit word "deva".
However, I was surprised to see so many similarities between Slavic languages and Sanskrit, especially the counting system. It's not very obvious though.

For instance, serbian word for death is smrt, on Sanskrit it's smriti (-how it's pronounced, i.e. ee for i).
The main haplotype (mutation on the Y chromosome which makes it possible to follow the parental line) in India is R1a if I saw it right, which is one of the main ones in all Slavic nations, while very rare in the west Europe (as I already mentioned). And language similarities ALWAYS go hand in hand with it.

And the albanians in kosovo where result of them attacking serbs abusing serbian women and preparing a massive attack against the serbian polulation to drive them out of kosovo and massacre them to gain their own territory and country. in response serbs started massacreing albanians. Yes. I am aware that Serbian language uses both Cyrillic and Latin. However, on a broad sense (and a bit of political sense) I referred that Serbian uses Cyrillic font. For example, a lot of road signs or posters in Serbia are in Cyrillic font. On the other hand, in Montenegro road signs in Latin are more common.
Serbian and Montenegrin are basically the same language. But they are considered separate language for political reasons.
Serbia was fighting the Albanian militants (KLA/UCK) which started the killings, kidnappings and torture. The KLA was even assassinating other Albanians who still had jobs with the Serbian state - especially policemen, but also their families, as well as Albanians which didn't support them - such as wealthy Albanians who didn't give them money. The KLA was caught red-handed dragging the bodies of Serbs they killed in Klecka to makeshift crematoriums in July 1998. That was several months before the NATO bombing. Serbia was fighting these terrorists (who were trained by U.S./NATO on bases in Turkey, Germany, Austria) with mainly the police. The Serbian army only went in when it noticed U.S./NATO forces congregating along its borders and thought there would be a ground invasion. This was a few months before the bombing.
Most of the media "news" was lies or gross exaggerations. They had the number killed up to over 50 times what actually happened, and they had to add in deaths of the militants/soldiers as well as the ethnic Albanians kidnapped killed by the KLA (and even recently Albanians have been testifying of their relatives tortured in KLA camps in Northern Albanian during the war - so Albania hosted some of the KLA's camp), as well as the Serbs killed and kidnapped/missing by the KLA, plus the Roma/Gypsy - who've even listed the names of their people killed by the KLA but listed by Albanians as Albanians killed by Serbs (because the Kosovo Roma had Albanian-style names) - and the Albanians did systematically burn down the Roma neighborhoods once they (& NATO) got full control. Albanians also killed and cleansed Montenegrins in Kosovo, and they even attacked the small community of Kosovo Croats. They killed a Croat farmer and attempted to rape a Croat girl, so the Croats wrote letters to Croatia's then president Tudjman, and finally after a couple months, Tudjman sent a plane to pick up the Croats and bring them to Croatia. The plane was sent in the middle of the night to Skopje, Macedonia's capital so there'd be no press pictures - got to protect the reputation of the Albanian terrorists.
Kosovo Albanians later joined ISIS and al Nusra where they were featured in videos cutting off the heads of Syrians and Kurds. This includes Kosovo Albanians who worked at U.S.'s base in Kosovo (& U.S. had contracted to build that base before the bombing of Serbia, so it had plans to steal the land already).
I can not see how is legitimate fight of police with terorists, armed in terorist nest, how is that a massacre? This is clasical fight with fire arms, and people with one or two wounds from bullet are not massacred, read definition of the word please, serbian police and army didn't massacre anyone, they are profesionals, who just did job in protecting their state teritory without desocrating anyone, so yes they did massacres, and terrible things to civilians, policemans, postmans, woodrangers, and clasical legitimate fight with those monsters had to be led, like in favellas, which normal state would let favellas or such zones where people disapear as soon as they leave house, I ask, what shoulded We do? Gentleman from Skadarlija meant that our allies bombed us at the end of II WW eventhough we were from the very begining on the right side. Especially Serbia. And they only bombed Serbia. Second time they bombed us was in 1999.

Furthermore, Winston Churcil refused negotiating with Serbs after he realised Serbs supported both sides in WW2.

As for the borders, the software I used for animation was an American one and I live in Ireland.
Just for your information, the borders of different countries are shown differently as you change your location. For example, parts of Kashmir are shown as disputed/parts of Pakistan outside India. However, in India, it's shown parts of India. This is exactly the reason India supports Serbia on matters with Kosovo. So, the map you saw was not intentional.
