This time we're trying to cover "1979" original song by Smashing Pumpkins. It's such an amazing experience to cover this song, as we grow up when it became popular song back at the 90s when we're still teenagers and still learning chords :D
The Pumpkins will always be my favorite band, got me through an arduous period in my teenage years. I heard this song for the first time in college in 1998...your band's rendition threw me back then and I'm grateful for hearing you guys for the first time, much love from Trinidad and Tobago.
90s is indeed the hardest time to live as teenagers. Drugs, depression & suicides. We lost a lot of friends, but we are grateful we can survive thru those dark times and here we are now. Cheers to all 90s survivor out there
we have all of that now but its worse with social media. we dont connect with eachother about it. you guys at least had eachother. my generation is a bunch of loners with no social skills bc of the internet, which makes mental health issues 100× worse@@GigitanKobra
