I'm the exact same, I cannot wait for this game. Every other Bethesda game has lasted me years and I hope Starfield is the same. Also thanks for the nice words :)

Cool look. My advice is to not pre-order. We need to end pre-ordering. Wait a year after the bugs have been fixed and then play the game.

With Game Pass you don't pay anything extra for it on day 1.

@@ravenragnar No problem. 100% of all Bethesda games releases on Game Pass day 1 at no extra cost. In fact 100% of games from all Microsofts 30-40 studios costs nothing on release day for Game Pass.

We did already see that there was genetic manipulation in the game. I think the "Alien DNA" is something like taking a trait from an animal on a different planet and adding it to your genetic code in order to make you be able to survive longer in more hostile environments. Like taking the genetic trait of some creature on a high gravity planet that reinforces its skeletal structure, and splicing it into a human. Or the ability to survive on less oxygen.... that type of thing.
I do not know if intelligent aliens will actually be in the game but, from what we have seen so far, I don't expect a Mass Effect style of game play, walking around on a planet with seven different types of alien races walking around too. If anything, I think the game will focus on finding that intelligent life or finding out what happened to it. Just my thoughts.

A friend of mine who a Diehard Sony fanboy actually tried to say with a straight face *"Bethesda games weren't system sellers"* Well when Fallout 4 had that midnight release way back in 2015 the Fallout4/PS4 bundle sold out WAAAAAY before the Xbox One version did

The 1000 planet size of this game is not even remotely close to a problem. In a game like No Mans Sky, the size of the universe was and still generally is the entrie focus of the game. That basically is the draw. In a game like Starfield, the universe is only the SETTTING, Its the backdrop. The main focus and draw, just like any other Bethesda studios game, Is the RPG mechanics and the handcrafted content. They simply gave you a massively large and semi realistic universe to play in because it captures the vibe of a true science fiction epic. But the idea that these barren and empty planets are going to somehow hinder the rest of the handcrafted experience is ridiculous.

I hope the dream home is customizable in the way you think and not just, you finding trinkets to put in your house, or customizing the wall color and what type of lamp/rug you have...
