  • BMW F10 5 series with the air conditioning not blowing out cold air.
We start our diagnosis by verifying the customers complaint, and carrying out performance tests of the system, referencing it's cooling against ambient temperature.
Next, the static and then running pressures are checked to see the operation of the system and gain more direction for our diagnosis.

Another well made and informative video.
I actually started fitting air conditioning systems into vehicles over 40years ago and apart from electrical systems and obviously the changes in types of gas, the principle is the same. Unfortunately not the quality of the basic parts which seem to be regularly failing. Valves, seals etc seem to be very poorly made these days. Of course, everything needs to be a clean as possible prior to opening any system to replace any parts as we know contamination destroys efficiency.
BTW... I have used your vw tsi air flap fix on several cars now including my daughters.... All working fine and no new parts. Cheers

I changed my cooling radiator with a Nissens and after the AC works for 5-10 minutes and stop. No one can solve the problem. they say that the compressor is working just fine. Any idea? it is possible that the radiator to have other pressures besides the oem ?

Hi Great video!, i have a 2010 F10 530d, had it regassed 2 weeks ago and apparently the machine checks for leaks i was told, now i have exactly the same hissing and no cold air, any help would be greatly received.?

Condensers seem to be common sources of leaks on these. The machine only checks that it can pull a vacuum and that it'll hold. It means there's no large leaks. Small leaks can still pass the vacuum test.

I had the same problem. After refills , AC works . But where do you think is the leak for my car? It leaked again about 1 year later.

Check the condenser for stone chips. Did you put UV dye in the system?
