Limit the angle, make the shot harder by making that window go from 75% down to 25%.

i used this advice and saved my team in my debut the fullback sent a lob pass to the winger and i took 2 steps forward 1 step back then i saw that the winger was looking down and entered the box and had a heavy touch so i just went all in and got the ball but my nose was almost broken it was bleeding but i still continued the match

You must always hold it if it's in his control. If he takes a little bit of a bigger touch then you can go for it. You don't know the 1v1 stance perfectly that's why you are getting nutmegged lol

The only problem was the way he attacked the ball in that scenario he should have slid or went down sideways not diving straight at it😂.

Only dive like this at closer ranges. If you do this farther out, you risk the foward to pass or back out of the attack for another angle.
