You're the reason i became a goalkeeper from watching your videos. i can't thank you enough. i have become an amazing goalkeeper, and yes, the most important thing in my bag would be grip socks as my boots are slightly too big for me .
As a keeper my self I completely argee with what’s in your bag. I also like to use one pair of warm up gloves or the gloves I use at practice .and then I save my better gloves for the game.
I never use to think I can get better but when I started watching your videos I have become a better goalie. Thank you for help me get better. I owe you big time😊😊😊
Great video! I know it's not your usual match day, but loved seeint this behind the scenes. Maybe you could show the upkeep or cleaning process for things likr your gloves in the future too?
Rush, you are the reason why I am a goalkeeper. I was an attacker, and I was not that good, but when I switched to golie, I was amazing And I continue to practice goalkeeper and play every single day training myself.Thank you
My matchday essential (besides the self explanatory items) is a caffeinated energy gel which I'll take after the warm up during the final team talk from the coach
Im 13 now but the last game I played was when I was 12 and one important thing for me (especially for games in the morning) is Gatorade or an energising drink!!
My son (now u12’s) is a keeper and he broke his left wrist in April, that wrist tape was a must for us when he went back to football training, however we didn’t let him go back to his private keeper training as quickly as his club training purely because of how strenuous keeper training is…. He’s actually come back bigger and stronger and the first match he has after his cast was off, was a tournament 😂 I must admit I made his dad go along as I didn’t want to watch just incase the wrist went again 😅
The thing I’ve been taking a lot to games recently has been vasoline or petroleum cream. Heard from another keeper that putting a dab on ur gloves before playing helps keep them sticky. I don’t actually know if it has an affect or not but the feeling of confidence knowing my gloves feel sticky helps me a lot
I had a tryout once and I was put in the ecnl 11v11 game. I had new gloves that didn't have straps and I had no tape. I have very floppy wrists so when an easy shot came and hit my hand, It went straight into the back of the net with only a deflection. I didn't get offered a spot on ecnl.
After watching a video about it by Tifo, I've been bringing petroleum jelly to my games just in case it's rainy or muddy. The first game I tried it, I was amazed at how most of the water and mud just slides right off your gloves! Just be careful not to use too much, as that will eventually result in you losing grip.
Great choice wit the Legend 9, I have bought a couple pairs of Legends because Nike transitioned to synthetics😒 I personally carry extra laces and plasters when I feel rubbing so I don't get blisters during a game
we have the same shin pads! can you also please make a review of the nike grip3 that I got for my birthday? I want to know if it's durable for training or less durable for games! thank you
Hi there, I’m currently playing in a walking football team and I’d like to know if you have any specific tips for keeping in this format of the game? Thanks 🙏
Great video, but do you ever take a second kit just incase... I always take 2 kits with me on the off chance the opposition have changed kits (Has happened to me before) All the best for the rest of the season
Tub of Vaseline to protect knees and stop sweat dripping into eyes Tracksuit or 3/4 bottoms for warm up and incase the pitch is so rubbish you need to wear them to reduce abrasions (or it’s bloody cold) Muscle rub Shower gel Spare studs and spanner/key
wrist tape is a must. I was playing one day and a ball hit the side of my wrist and broke it. I still worry to this day that I might brake it again if I don't wear wrist tape
I need this wrist tape. My wrists are getting sprained every three or two months. For some reason, it always occurs whenever I have an important game in few days. Hate it.
I bring some bandages because I charge alot with my hands to the ball, So if I get injured I can bandage my hand. Why tho? Because we don't have another gk, He got injured 2 months ago and he got injured for 7 months. Thats why I bring bandages.
Tape and more tape Just started GK as my main position in the fall and ended up starting for my Varsity team and tape has saved me from coinciding some absolute rockets hit at me
Love the video, not a keeper but i can tell this will be extremely helpful for newer keepers! I must say, that banana is way too brown for me, needs to have a small green tint to it... ahaha
I know this is a GK video but maybe mention that only GK's are allowed a cap on the pitch......Might be obvious to most but may not be to some (from other perspectives/positions)! Other then that another amazing vid Ois, much love!
I mean the only thing I can't go on out on match days is my water bottle and my gloves and just 1 more addition is my towel for ur same reason, cleaning ur gloves, first I put water on my gloves for some (more) grip and towels for excess water and dirt and gloves is common Sense
I’m a gk and one thing you need to do is before game day you **HYDRATE**. Hydration is very important, chugging water before the game does NOT hydrate you and makes you need to use the restroom and is not a good ide
My son is 9 yrs old and your bag is just like his .Apart from wrist tape .We also and keepbalm ,which makes your gloves sticky mate .Try it and thank me later .
I play in the Mid-Ulster Youth League so I don't think it will be necessary to bring a banana and apples. But I think the thing that I learnt in this vid is that I definitely need sock tape.
I want to be a goalkeeper and play soccer but I’m only the 4th grade and there isn’t a soccer team but middle school has a team so I can’t wait for middle and I always keep this so I know this
What is ONE thing you can’t go without on match days? 🤔
water i hate it when i forget my water :sob:
Glove😂❤

Seeing you make all of theze saves is one of the reasons I became a keeper. Keep playing well!!
Great video! I know it's not your usual match day, but loved seeint this behind the scenes. Maybe you could show the upkeep or cleaning process for things likr your gloves in the future too?
Love the video suggestions!!

I had been debating wrapping my hands and wrists in games, but seeing the difference here, I’m gonna need some tape 👌🏻 class as always rush💚
RushGk, it’s amazing how much you have improved and it’s beautiful watching your crowd grow bigger and bigger! We’ll done for getting 100k subs!
I’m a goalkeeper in my soccer club and you help really well
Amazing vid yeah I'm a gk in ireland the weather can be sunny for 5 hours then I'm drenched in 2 minutes
I just started goalkeeping and im always learning something new from you. Thank you
Love this! Keep going 👏

You are an inspiration. I am a young keeper and your vids help tons
Thanks man, i get to see what you do and learn off it

I don’t actually know if it has an affect or not but the feeling of confidence knowing my gloves feel sticky helps me a lot
Be careful using this.. it COMPLETELY ruins the durability of your gloves even after one use!
I had a tryout once and I was put in the ecnl 11v11 game. I had new gloves that didn't have straps and I had no tape. I have very floppy wrists so when an easy shot came and hit my hand, It went straight into the back of the net with only a deflection. I didn't get offered a spot on ecnl.
i was having trouble figuring out how to pack my bag, this video really helped me and out and the 8 minutes went by so fast, keep up the good work. 👍
4:10 for my games I basically just wear those slip on shin guards

Thank you your the reason I became a goalkeeper at first I was really bad but I’m slowly getting better
yo im in ireland but i dont know where to get goalkeeper supplies without getting caought up in customs or high deliverly charge
ShopGKA is the best for in Ireland!
Great choice wit the Legend 9, I have bought a couple pairs of Legends because Nike transitioned to synthetics😒

I absolutely love that Nike bag, have the exact same one, never go anywhere without it.
Can u please tell me the name of it or a link to it 🙏
I have learned to you man
For me you're the reason why i did the clean sheet for semi-final
Love your vids even tho I’m not a goalkeeper I still find you as an inspiration❤
Love this 👏
we have the same shin pads!

I can’t be the only one who knows it’s a GoPro battery in the thumbnail 😂
my essentials are 4 pairs of gloves, 1 for each half, 1 for training and one for warmup and because I live in Australia I absolutely need sunscreen
What size SD card do you recommend for the gopro hero 9?
I used to be a bad gk until I saw this video and the other videos it gave me motivation I can never be so happy Ty so much ❤
wrist tape is a must. I was playing one day and a ball hit the side of my wrist and broke it. I still worry to this day that I might brake it again if I don't wear wrist tape
You’re a big inspiration to me man. I’m 08-09 keeper and I learn a lot from you thanks bro🔥
I need this wrist tape. My wrists are getting sprained every three or two months. For some reason, it always occurs whenever I have an important game in few days. Hate it.

Thanks for the vid! Keep it up!
Thank you for the support ❤️
@@RushGK AHHHH YOU REPLIED TYYY
i can relate as a junior goalkeeper and iw ish i had the same resourecs as you
I bring some bandages because I charge alot with my hands to the ball, So if I get injured I can bandage my hand. Why tho? Because we don't have another gk, He got injured 2 months ago and he got injured for 7 months. Thats why I bring bandages.

I was watching the chest mount video and you said something like 93% were not subbed so I decided to sub hope it helps and keep up the good work!!
Where do you get the wrist tape from
