  • If it's one thing Sweden has down 1000 percent, it's their music. We are excited to share that we sat down with front man Johannes Persson from Cult of Luna. It was a rare trip to Texas for them, and boy was it a treat. And on the first day of their tour, he elaborated on his love for film, the grit and hard work that was put into their newest album (A Dawn to Fear), and how the cold Texas weather feels like summer to the Swedes. We even had a marching band blaring everything it had pass right by us towards the end of the interview. A warm welcome to the states indeed. Catch them on their current North American headlining tour with support from Emma Ruth Rundle and Intronaut. A Dawn to Fear is out now via Metal Blade Records.

Then it would be my favorite band, most likely. As it is I'll visit their concerts gladly, but Russian Circles (who they toured with as a Co-headliner) was even better as a purely instrumental band.
A matter of taste though, plenty of people like it this way obviously, and that's fine. They are what they are.
