RIGHT ON!!!!!! FINALLY AFTER A LONG DAY OF REMOTE START NOT WORKING AND SURFING THE WEB FOR ANSWERS THINKING I HAD TO GO BACK TO ALARM SHOP!! BUT FINALLY CAME ACROSS THIS VIDEO PERFECT SHORT AND RIGHT TO THE POINT THANKS FOR A GREAT VIDEO. REMOTE START WORKING ON THE DIME
Thank you very much. I read up on it online and still couldn't figure it out. Nobody made it as simple as you made it I'm glad you are here to help idots like myself. Thank you again for all of your help!
I cannot express enough gratitude for your help in this video. Liked and subscribed thank you so much, just like the many others before me, it worked on my viper 5906v.
You saved me i saw alot of videos and nothing mine was on valet mode and couldn’t remote start my truck i did what you showed us and worked Thanks man i really appreciate it god bless!!
Hey buddy, thanks for posting this..its a big help for me. you save my time and money..my remote wont start after i replace my avalanche with new battery. i reprogram it so many times, but nothing happen. only the lock/unlock will function. i try to experiment the push botton, luckily sometimes it will start but if i open the hood, remote doesnt start again. then ive found your tutorial..boom! success..very helful..cheers : )
I have a 2006 Toyota Avalon with the 5305v Viper Remote Start , and I turn it on with the remote and runs for about 3-5 seconds then turns off by itself , the car is a push to start, not sure if that’s what makes it do that, what can I do to fix it , or what kind of module do I need
Hey pro I want to thank you for posting this video I called my body at Stereo shop and he could not figure out and watching this video saved my day and money so Million thanks to you
My remote battery died and I had to resync my remote with the system (I actually have the 5704 system but they look to be the same). After I did this resync, my remote start function did not work. The Viper manual does not state how to fix this. The procedure in this video worked perfectly! Thanks so much for your help!
I press the remote start button then the car turns on as if the key was turned to the mode before ignition then off. It does this 3 times then the remote makes the error noise and says remote start error.
Great video. Does anyone know how to fix my issue. Sometimes When I remote start my vehicle it starts always, but when I walk up to it to unlock it it shuts off
Ok my car starter is not working properly. Model #7756V... On a 97 lincoln town car (no bypass) The problem is weird... It gets the signal to start, then dings and dash comes on fuel pump runs, then clicks and does not crank...it does this 3 times then i get an error. I can start car with key. Hood safety works as it should. Its not in manual mode. Pls any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.
drew41428 Were you ever able to get that fixed? I have the same issue. When I press the auto-start, my truck acts like it wants to turn on and it shows the runtime timer on the remote, but then the the truck 'clicks' off and the remote beeps and shows, "remote start error."
Hello want to Thanks for the information provided by you the car been sitting for a week because of needed resetting...work great for me and Thanks again..
It really helped my problem mine was on Valet mode and couldn’t remote start my truck did what you said and everything went back to normal i have the 7756v Viper remote start
Thank you very much! It worked on second tries. Adding to original tech tips. This is apply to - Tundra 2011 Automatic - Viper: alarm security and Remote starter model 5706v - DBALL2 XpressKit Symptom of the error - Remote starter on remote depressed. - Remote start mode kicked in - ERROR ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Note: I did not hear any chirps at all on the first try. This procedure worked by follow the LED status on the Viper Control Center with blue LED model 5706v How to switch Manual MODE to Automatic Mode on remote starter 1- Open door. 2- Insert key turn to ON, then OFF 3- Press and HOLD the VALET button (Control Button) and pay attention to status LED on the "Control Center" - LED flash ONE time (keep holding) - LED flash TWO times (keep holding) - LED flash THREE times, then let go. 4- Press the VALET button (Control Button), then let go quickly 5- Press and HOLD the VALET button (Control Button) until - LED flash TWO times, then let go. - Press Unlock button on Viper remote Turned key to ON, then OFF, then REMOVE key. Voila, it worked!!!
Thank you so much i thought i screwed up my alarm system. I have a viper 5904 and i deleted it memory and then re paired and it wouldn't start.Thankfully i found your video. Again thank you so much. Do you know how to make it so that instead of having 12min to run just shorten it to 5?
This didn’t work for me, infact i was shocked for a short minute haha i started the car with the key and noticed that when I turned it off at the switch the car remained On/Running engine and I remember if you step on the brake that it would shut off. And it did... maybe i did something wrong.. I thought i had it.
aw man, thanks for the video - didn’t work for me unfortunatley. going to have to take it to a shop. I found the programming/installation manual and can see what’s actually happening (you’re choosing the 3rd menu, then choosing the first option “automatic/manual” then choosing option 2 (automatic), then done. and I figured that out, but after setting it to automatic, I still get the error but instead of 7 blinks, I get 8 now. and 8 is a neutral-safety switch problem that is *only* related to manual-transmission installations, but my ’08 accord is an automatic. This sucks!
lol the only thing I was doing wrong was that I didn't know how to complete program. did everything but never saw direction to turn key to on then off again. lol. thanks. After, just in case someone has same issue, if tach signal low, and you are using data instead of hardwire, change tach input to voltage instead of virtual tach. Same procedure but instead of 1 press after 3 chirps, it's 2 presses. THEN, if your car still doesn't stay on after remote start, turn the car on with key, immediately hold control button until LED stays solid blue, then turn off car and try remote start again.
Clearly you don't know the viper alarm very well.. WITHOUT THE KEY the car will shut off once you press the breaks or even try to open the hood. the door remains locked when you start the car with the viper alarm
I bought a Viper alarm/remote starter for my last new car. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied with Viper do to the poor quality of the main remote that has bad cracks all around the outside edge of the remote. I glued with crazy glue but it is no longer holding together. It should have a metal edge around the entire outer edge. It looked like it std but they are tricky in fooling the customer. It is painted plastic to look like metal. I resorted to the one way remote but can not tell if doors are open or closed. Plus.. my car continuously remotely starts accidentally because of poor design. I paid about $650 and will never buy another Viper product.
DONT WORK FOR ME, STILL APEAR - REMOTE START ERROR- WAS SAYING BEFORE - LOW BATT- I GUESS HAVE A BAD BATTERY AND I REPLACED AND NOW SAY -REMOTE START ERROR- I DO EVERYTHING YOU EXPLAIN IN YOUR VIDEO BUT SAME THING, DONT START THE TRUCK.
