Threes Company i watch the last couple of seasons when it was on TV even three's a Crowd and Skin Deep is my favorite John Ritter movie . Three's Company i most have watched the reruns like a million times and each time i watch a rerun i always laugh like i watched that episode i am watching for the first time no matter the episode and the show was funny and silly
John Ritter a superlative talent. Passing away just 6 days shy of 55. It's an honor to be remembered as Jack Tripper. Jack Tripper was one of my heroes.
I remember that like it was yesterday. He died on Sept. 11, 2003, his youngest son's 5th birthday, and his wife Amy's birthday was the next day on the 12th.
I took to rewatching Three's Company lately, I hadn't seen it since the 80s and there is something very special about it. I think Mrs. Roper got the best lines! All the roles were perfectly cast
Exhibit A of only the good...damn GOOD die young! :( 19 yrs later still miss this legend. Pulsating charisma, charm, likability, TALENT. Yes, even w/ the smack talk from the critics w/ the writing etc..he was that stellar on 3s Company! Handful of episodes were kind of crap lol but the good-great ones I could watch (& have watched) 10000s of times. At only 54! this guy should've had 20+ yrs more of an amazing career! 0 doubt we would've gotten that reunion w/ the 3 OG characters :(....
John Ritter is one of the VERY few famous actors that got away with maintaining a clean image with no dark stories or accusations of being either a drunk, drug addict, child pervert or sex fiend or some form of asshole. This is almost unheard of for an actor of his fame.
Awesome actor. Superlative comedy. Genius. And a sexy, good looking man. Miss him dearly. Love you John. Everyone on the show is incredibly talented. Thank you for the laughs
John Ritter's portrayal of Jack Tripper influenced my childhood and my sense of humor. I'm over 50 now and I act like Jack Tripper whenever I entertain friends and family.
It has 34 years since he had a interview on his days on 3's Company and other things and I never thought he was a real genuine guy who had been in everything and I miss him dearly and I know it has been 20 years since he passed away at the age of 54 years old and he would've been 75 years old and he would've been that old today
Threes company was brilliant and John Ritter as Jack is one of the great slap stick comedians of all time. The use of innuendo in the show is outstanding.
There he is ! Ladies andbgentleman this is my favorite Actor. Threes company my favorite shoe. Noises off loved it. Problem child. Thank you for making my childhood even funner. I have all episodes on VHS still.
I always thought Three’s Company was hilarious. It’s funny that it was considered risque for its time, but obviously is completely innocent by today’s standards.
Film and TV critics usually only go for sappy emotional British type films with deep boring humanitarian artsy reason like The Piano Man and can never appreciate simple hilarious humor from that heart and soul. I don't think a critic can appreciate any humor. They never give a funny show a good review. The show of course did have its lame moments but that's what it was was supposed to be ... simple and plain but Ritter was the one that made that show hilarious. And yes it was his physical comedy and Goofy moves. I can watch the same scene a dozen times & still crack up.
Back when I watched TV sitcoms, 3's Company, Welcome Back Kotter, Happy Days, and Taxi were my favorites. The only thing I didn't like about 3's Co was Chrissy's cousin who just acted too dumb to be believable. But the show itself was brilliant and hilarious.
He already had subtle signs of the heart disease, which you can see, if you have it ( i do) . including indigestion, and his voice is losing strength. By ten yrs later, he looked very sick, and was gone at 55. People were in denial. He should have been in hospital, NOT on a soundstage !!!
John Ritter was an immensely talented actor, but I have to say, 3's Company was not good television. I wouldn't waste my time hating it. But Ritter was absolutely talented.
Really??? it wasn't good television? Yet went on for 8 seasons. yeah... that ain't good tv. **eye roll** I bet you thought 2 1/2 men was good television. (which I refuse to watch as it was disgusting trash)
I totally get ya, we all have that feeling about a TV show seemingly loved by everyone. My mom absolutely hates i love lucy, I love it. I love 3sC but its totally ok that you don't. My absolute unwatchable show would prolly be MASH. 🤮
@@trawlins396Indeed. It was formulaic - almost every episode featured a character hearing part of a conversation - hence the “comic misunderstanding” angle. It was still funny though and John was immensely talented as a comedic actor as well as for his physical comedy. He seemed like a nice guy by all accounts, too. Taken from us far too early.
Threes company was the best. I still watch the reruns. Thank you John for so many years of laughter. God rest your soul.
Comedy is always a personal thing, after all

He voiced clifford the big red dog too. one of my favorite childhood shows
Who do you people come from ... and where do you go at night
Three's Company is a classic and was hilarious.
I only found it bearable/funny when Suzanne Sommers was on it.
In fact, looking back, I feel Three’s Company was the most innocent and hilarious show ever. A representation of better, more carefree times.
the theme song is pretty good
The jiggling didn't hurt either
... if you forget about the racist, sexist, homosexual stereotypes, that is
Rest In Peace John/Jack. Thank you for the laughter. I am still LOL on Pluto TV.
Me too. He was the best.
Thats all i keep on pluto... go to sleep and wake up to it daily!
John is a great actor and a legend, and 3s company is a classic and great comedy show 👏👏
Three's Company and I love Lucy are two of my all time favorite shows.
Same. Good wholesome shows. Just pure innocent fun.
I will always remember him In three’s company. I love the show , and John made the show.
I miss John Ritter. Loved him dearly. RIP
He was such a a gem. Such a sweet, good natured person. You'll never see anyone say a bad word about him.
His early death was just unfair.🤬
He so smooth

Just because it's not known about, doesn't mean he's so clean-cut
So true. I've never seen anyone say a bad word about him.
His wife said the person we saw on TV was his real personality.

He was very handsome. You hardly hear anyone mention that but he was very attractive.
Not only was he hilarious. I think he was very handsome!
He was!! No one ever mentions that! He was such a cutie!!
I love his hair like this. 😍😍😍
And the odd thing is he looks nothing like his father looked.
Thank you Jack john Ritter 🙏 👍 ❤️ 💙 😘

Lots of love ❤️ from Montreal Canada ❤️ 🇨🇦
Missing you always 💛
Miss him too since 2003! Too young to leave this world… Fan from Montreal too!

R.I.P.
John Ritter
(September 17th,1948-
September 11th,2003)
John was a true master of physical comedy, and a tremendous human being .
Whenever i need a good laugh, i watch three's company. I was genuinely heartbroken when John past away
i remember anticipating Real Men’s release as well. But it just never appeared and then suddenly there it was on the video store shelf.
"The Not-So-Great Imposter," "Dying To Meet You," and "The Apartment" are my three favorite episodes of "Three's Company."
He was so so talented. I miss him dearly. I loved him so much in 3s Company. What a terrible loss.
I have physical copies of the whole Three's Company series on DVD ❤️ R.I.P John Ritter and Susan Somers
Nice. It still airs on antenna tv 🙂
There's Company the worst show? No way. It's always been genius comedy. What was he talking about? I feel like I missed a step.
Does the word „citation“ ring the bell?
@@africanblue No

He really shows his intelligence and insight into the acting profession here.

I loved old john..
Skin Deep has some of the funniest slapstick scenes in history, yet I never hear anyone talk about it for some reason.
🙏🕊️💐
I miss that man. Such a great talent.
He was such an attractive man. A gem of a person. ❤
This show looks entertaining
I have all Season's Of Three's Company On Dvd and it's Funny with Misunderstanding and fun stuff with a lot of heart.

John Ritter always will be Jack
Can't believe it's been that long. What a loss.
Crazy how fast time passes.

I feel like John Ritter was way before his time.
Was better with Suzanne Somers, Norman Fell and Audra Lindley.
No way. Mr Furley was hilarious 😂😂.
And Teri was pretty funny too.
Watching season 5 for the Lily Tomlinson sexually harassing Jack, hilarious!
She did not appear on Three’s Company, and neither did Lily Tomlin. It was John Travolta’s sister who appeared on the show.

You're seeing and hearing things. His voice always sounded like that.
He didn't have heart disease. He had an aortic dissection. Which is rare.
