People especially now, doesn’t realize how John Ritter was an absolute genius as a comedian actor, especially in Three’s Company. I wish he was still alive to star in today’s sitcom. John Ritter really doesn’t get the credit he deserves.
John will always be underrated - I got lucky as a kid, growing up with reruns of three's company on tv land (I'll never forget my mom waking me up on sept 11th 2003 to tell me the news, I am still depressed) John was the perfect comedian, a genius and the most personable man for his time... we lost so much talent by losing him early 😭
He was so relaxed when he was interviewed and he was so naturally funny. I think his son Tyler is a lot like him as an actor and Tyler looks so much like his father.
I have good news to share with you I met Tyler and I didn't know who he was, am I totally do you mind if I tell you something you said no absolutely not what is it I said you look just like John Ritter Jack tripper, he smiled get so big his eyes lit up and then he said that's my dad, I just looked at him and I said no are you kidding me I had chills all over, without even thinking for the second I just grabbed him and gave him a hug, and I said to him everyone loved your dad and I still love him.
John Ritter NEVER allowed stardom to get to his head. He was most conscientious about his work and put a great deal of thought into his characterizations.
Damn he's 47 here!? Barely looks late 30s. Still had that boyish, angelic '70s/'80s glow. Pulsating charisma and likability! OG Jim Carey! Only 55 when he passed. NO doubt if he lived would've been like Henry Winkler and Michael Keaton- getting killer roles and even more accolades/awards & critical acclaim than he got for Threes Company!
Class Act interview. since he wasn’t prolifically Interviewed, and this is integrative example of his improvisational Artistry, can’t believe he was 46-47 , he looked more like 38. He’s continually one of my faves
That was amazing how he stood up and seemed to be ad libbing something, and just seemed to come up with a perfect physical comedy bit with perfect timing on the spot.
There was a certain warmth to John. How sad for him to have passed on all too young. We sure don't have anyone like him today. Sad. How tall was John Ritter?
Thanks! He seemed tall without being gangly. Over tall people tend to be somewhat awkward and too conscientious of their height. I'm puzzled that people did not seem to notice that John was a good looking guy. His smile warmed the heart while his ease disarmed many.
We'll... I don't know if he was wrong!? that's crazy. I've never seen this until now and I'm not really a superstitious person.. but some people just know their destiny. It's just so strange he was talking about death like that.
the idea was it's 13 people are in one room only 13 people one of you will die with in 12 months. and I think it originated and this is true because I check it out because I really felt like a maniac......but it's the Last Supper and we all know what happen there.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
John was real class 👍🇬🇧
John ritter was such a gem
He died too soon

In memory of John Ritter

Jack Tripper is the funniest sitcom character EVER!
Wow!! He was great!!
So eerie. Lots of talk of death in this interview.

He was 5’11”

I do remember that LOVE BOAT episode and actually surprised that John was none too keen on it. I don't blame him one bit.
What year was this interview? He looks so young.
1995
The operating room he died in was #13 - so tragic.

Maybe there was a hidden or unspoken number 13 that day.
John actually was embarrassed when Leno played the LOVE BOAT clip with John dressed as a woman.
Friday the 13th is a superstition based on the day the Knights Templar were captured ...
Both he and Markie Post are gone now
Sept. 1994
thanks was looking for this! 👍
It wasn't really love. It was location.
