The 0 degree is not a turbo but yes, it will hurt (a lot!) if you hit bare skin. Great video!
Just picked it up having watched your review. Today was my first time using it and I gotta say for the money I think we found a winner. Cheers.
Thats awesome! Glad it worked out! Used mine for 3 days straight and it was a work horse! Thanks so much for watching!
Looks good. I bought one last year and used it so I’m watching this video to get me motivated and pumped so i can pull it out and use it tomorrow.
Good times! Thanks so much for watching!
Great review man. I just bought the same model which was a open box from Home Depot for $200! I'm excited to put this to good use. Thanks for this video!
Cool deal! I'm gonna do the house this summer. Hope it works well for you. Thanks so much for watching!
I have the 3000psi model and love it, just need to make sure to use ethanol free gas or dry the gas tank if it’s going to sit awhile, or get some carburetor starter fluid when you bring it out again.
Cool video, the humor is spot on "lift with your back-not your knees"....ahahahah! Great review because you come across as a regular person. Some dudes take themselves too seriously when giving reviews.
I purchased this Ryobi, with concrete cleaner attachment, based on your review. Can't wait to try it out.
Thanks
Thanks for the kind words. I try to be as natural as possible... keep it real as the kids say these days. Hope the pressure washer worked out for you. Thanks so much for watching!
fun video. i have the same setup. you can use the disk and make this work a lot faster. use your wand for cleaning the edges where your disk won't reach. like up against the house and in corners. much faster to use the disk.
Thanks for the tip!
Great vid; they're good washers, got 1! but here in Australia they've got Yamaha motors and 3200psi
the hose that come with it [ which I threw away] was as flexable as steel 1inch cable and only 10 mtrs long. No oil comes with it and no adjustable head only single tips x5 which if not in properly disappear somewhere never to be seen again!! Oh, got carried away, sorry, anyway just a light smear of white petroleum jelly,! keeps the o rings in good condition!
That's awesome thanks for the tip. I don't use this all that often so great tip on how to keep it in good condition. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video! Wear something other than flip flops next time. Pressure washing wounds are gnarly.
For sure! Lesson learned from other comments as well. Thanks so much for watching!
I just bought exactly this same equipment. Thank you.......this video makes it less intimidating!
Awesome! I'm glad the video helped. Thanks for watching!
The only thing is that I cant pull the starter hard enough to start it....any suggestions???
@@maureenmeil9035 hmmm. Honestly I'm not sure how to help with that one. Maybe there is some type of defect there. Might want to contact Ryobi.
Haha I like your vids man. I’m planning to get the same brand but with the 3000psi model. Hopefully it could be on sale during Boxing Day lol.
Thats great you'll love it! Thanks so much for watching
You might try the Ryobi spinning deck cleaner. It doesn't leave lines and it's easy to use. $70.
Nice thanks for the recommendation and thanks for watching!
Thx for the video ima buy one today !!!
Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for a really good review. I think for me you convinced me though not to get this unit. When I watch you on those tough driveway spots you really look like you're on top of it and back and forth a lot. I think 6670 CUs just isn't really enough for a driveway.
Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad the review was able to steer you in the direction that works for you! Thanks so much for watching!
you show emptying the 14 oz of oil but the (my) manual says '...all but 2 oz'
😲 zoiks! This is why I need to start reading manuals lol! Thanks so much for the heads up.
no big. turns out Ryobi included diff size oil. mine turned out to be 12 fl oz size so i first dumped 10 and just kept eye on dipstick. got my 1st cleaning. i got the surface cleaner, too.
Great Video. Does the surface cleaner come with the pressure washer or is it a separate purchase? If so, how much?
Thank you
SK.
Separate for 75$
Ok, thanks again.
I think I may have picked it up for around $60. Thanks so much for watching!
Just got mine. Turned the water on at the spigot and it shot straight into and out a hole 4 inches away. I think it’s an alternative intake and is supposed to be closed off with a short bolt, but mine didn’t come with one. Any clues?
How easy is it to operate. I guess I dont see wheels on the surface cleaner. How well does it move across the surface you are cleaning?
Super easy to operate. The down pressure from the water spraying out makes the surface cleaner glide across the driveway/sidewalk. Thanks so much for watching!
How to connect soap detergent to Ryobi 2900 psi
I haven't used the soap detergent port with the pressure washer. This is a good question. I'll do an update when I pressure wash my house. Thanks so much for watching!
2.3 gallons per minute, lmao. Hey, don't feel bad. Gallons per minute is the first thing that popped up in my mind too. If that were true though that thing would be using more gas than a freightliner
An average garden hose allows water to flow at a rate of 5 - 10 GPM (gallon per minute) at a pressure of 30 - 50 PSI (pounds per square inch). A light duty residential pressure washer uses 1.6 GPM at a pressure of 1750 PSI. This gives the pressure washer between 5 - 18 times more cleaning power, using 68% less water.
I was referring to water output
Thanks for watching!
Cool video man. I just bought the 3200 psi and when the pressure washer is on and you tilted to move to different spot it shuts off is this normal?
You are probably cutting the water or fuel off with a kink hosed when you move it
I can't say I've had this issue. Art Lucci is probably right, maybe some sort of kink in the line. Thanks so much for watching!
When you clean concrete of stone walkways, do you use any detergent or cleaner?
From what I've heard its best to just use water. Now if u have some heavy oil stains you may need to use cleaner. Thanks so much for watching!
@@BriansBadassReviews does this pressure washer come with a detergent option? If so where is it located?
@@MexicanCODplayer323 there is a tube in the back that can be used for the detergent bottles. I'll be honest I don't know exactly how it works.
You keep saying take the air out of the hose first but never showed how, can you please show how, a lot of women who have been married for a long time are not any longer and now are learning to do all this in there own
Been awhile since I made this video but all you have to do is squeeze the trigger once you have everything connected and your water is on. Before you start the pressure washer. A small stream will come out and u will hear the air pops.... when they stop you are good to go! Thanks so much for watching!
I have trouble starting it. I’m 5’1”?? Oil & Gas ok, checked filter looks fine. Attached hoses. Took off end sprayer, turned on water to make sue there wasn’t any air. Maybe I can’t pull or have length to pull. I have it on open gas, and choke. Its two yrs old its either Spark plug Or??
My husband Just tried too. No go. He will pull the spark plug. I think plug would last more than a few yrs. min, amount of use?
Dang. I'm not an engine expert but it could be spark plug. Could also be how you store it if you have cold winters. I hope its an easy fix. Keep us posted.
Most of the time it is a carburetor problem caused by the poor fuel that we have. A carburetor clean will likely get you going. Be sure to not store the unit with fuel in it. Also, if you can, do not buy normal fuel. Most have 10% ethanol in it. It is the ethanol that corrodes the system. You will have to look, but depending on where you live, you can get Recreational Fuel "Rec Fuel". Some stations may have a dedicated pump. Sometimes it is called "Pure Gas". If you live near a marina, you can get it there. It will cost more, but the fuel will last months longer, though I still stand by my first statement. Do not leave fuel in the tank or the carburetor. Once you get it cleaned out, go to "Rec Fuel" and most of your carb issues will go away. Good luck.
I forgot to mention a couple of troubleshooting steps. 1. if you do remove the plug, you can put a very small squirt of gas directly into the cylinder. Put the plug back in and give it a few pulls. If it starts and then stalls, you know it is indeed the fuel delivery. Here is a quick video if you want to take it on for yourself. It is not hard to do, but takes time the first time you try it. ruclips.net/video/fDnmqxpsfkg/видео.html Good luck.
@@vernonrobinson9576 awesome tips thanks so much for helping out!
@@vernonrobinson9576 will do. Think you need a tool to get spark plug out. Have to locate one. But will keep that in mind. Will keep you posted.
So is the pressure washer itself good enough for sidewalks and porches or surface is much better for the job
Pressure washer is definitely good enough by itself but the surface cleaner will get you the same results 10× faster. Thanks so much for watching!

You messed someone up. Lift with Your back. Lol
