Other than getting the hose connector turned around (watch out for that one), the machine is simple to put together and use ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQauTxLT0JLSvqkq10rD79TU4k0Vz8zP . And very nice, too. I'm surprised at the power-it's more than we'll ever need, and we've not even used the most powerful setting yet.I've cleaned off a dirty concrete porch to get it ready for sealing, started to clean siding, and I know this pressure washer will be terrific for cleaning tools this fall. The only issue we had is we had turned around the hose connector, and it leaked. Once it was on correctly, though, we had no problems with the connection. Just remember that the end with the green knob goes towards the hose. It's obvious now what we did wrong, but not necessarily obvious at the time.
Excellent review sir very very well done. The entire video was very informative n well put together. Thank you. Love the hacks too n nice benz by the way. 😊👍🏻

Just an FYI... Pressure is created by restriction not volume... So when you took the tip off it's not going to look like 320psi.... When you put restriction on something the pump needs to be able to push the liquid though the restriction...in this case 320pis.....try to put that end on a regular hose and you'll see what I mean.......great review thanks now I know not to get a battery powered "pressure wash" of any make 🇨🇦💪🍻

these things definitely have their place in the market As long as you know what you're buying these things are fantastic for some applications like if you ride dirt bike four wheeler UTV or do a lot of off-roading with your truck or Jeep you need something with a little more to get that mud off then the garden hose can provide or you have an RV or overlander where space and powering are issues. before you either had your garden hose spray nozzle, or you had some huge power washer that'll take your damn skin off. How that Ryobi possibly stops for no reason. Did you happen to make sure the rubber washer is in the connection between the hose and tool and the connection tight and leak free? I could hear the pump still running but nothing coming out which usually means it's sucking air instead of sucking the stuff up the hose. Thanks for the video!
With mine, I found I had a similar problem at first, I believe the issues is that there is a float on the end to keep the filter from sitting at the bottom. You can adjust this float up and down the hose. When I use a 5 gallon bucket, I slide the float all the way to the other end of the hose. The purpose of the float, as far as I can tell, is to keep the filter from getting choked up with dirt if you use it in something like a lake or river (would be great for washing off a boat). What seemed to be happening to me was the float was holding the filter at the top of the water and as the hose moved around it would occasionally not be submerged enough to suck water up. Additionally, you can unscrew the end of the hose and remove the filter if you'd like, which would allow you to replace the hose or filter if you desired. It appears to be just standard 3/8th ID vinyl tubing. Additionally, you could build your own syphon hose using the brass quick connects.
So overall for light pressure you'd recommend.. otherwise you're saying gas for high pressure. Be curious if you could ever get your hands on the ryobi 40v high pressure washer that is rarely in stock..
It will be available in the future, but not know. Yeah I saw that you used that but was curious if you had tried another method. Have you seen or gotten the ryobi foam bottle yet. Keeps saying out of stock.
No, the nozzle is one whole piece with the cap, and the back end of the cap connects onto the sprayer. The soap control is on the nozzle, so there's no need for another nozzle on the foam attachment.
@@jeffostroff thanks for the quick reply I knew that with different models this was possible and the amount of foam that is output greatly increases...
That is bogus nonsense. All tools still draw 12 v or 20v with fixed current no matter what, a larger battery does not give you more power. The only exception is the Dewalt Power Detect drill that just came out in April, but only armed with Dewalt's 8 AH battery, the drill works to detect that battery and give you more power based on the increased level of AH that the 8 AH battery gives us.
jeffostroff i actually own lots of ryobi tools and have batteries from 2Ah to 9Ah and when using 9Ah batery took is stronger with it then with even 4Ah battery. Vaccum cleaner even makes a slightly different noise and is way more powerful with big battery then 4Ah. So actually Amps make difference is performance.
@@norbkowa Yes one of these days I need to score some 9:00 amp hours power ryobi batteries and test them out in a scientific manner against the 4 amp hours batteries with the blower at least there I can calculate CFM to see if the higher amp hours has any effect on the CFM with the Ryobi blowers.
jeffostroff i see biggest power improvement especially on brushed tools with 9Ah battery. Brushless tools have power gain also but the most noticable is on older and brushed tools.
jeffostroff stop falsely giving people information you know nothing about. A higher ah battery absolutely provides more power, the 18650 are arranged in a parallel circuit, the more batteries the more amps the tool can draw, not saying it will have an effect on every tool but it’s definitely not bogus nonsense.
There was not enough time as this video was running long, and we had several days of rain delays, so I'm doing a video this week on hacks to try on the Hart and Ryobi sprayer. I spent 3 hours of tense cutting room activity trying to pare this video down below 30 minutes.
When the display is running down, and some stores ran out of batteries already, they likely are just moving the display around. I think the sale ends on 8/3.
Is there a way to attach fishing weights or stick on weights to the bottom of the siphon hose? So it doesn't bobble over and suck air causing it to stop or get inconsistent like you see?
Yes you could probably use a rope in tire two and a half pound or five pound weight onto it but I have given up on using any type of syphoning from the buckets with all of my pressure power cleaners. The reason is you're starting right off the bat with 60 PS I less pressure than if you were to connect it up to the garden hose so I really only use it if I absolutely have to like walking around a big yard with weedkiller to spray
Nah just get yourself a SunJoe 2598MAX pressure washer for about $120 or so online. Make sure its the MAX model that comes with 3 quickconnect nozzle tips, 40°, 15° and 0°. The cheaper $80 2598 has a turn nozzle like these guns. I'd rather get an electric pressure washer than one if these cheap no power "power washer" hose. You can get better PSI putting a fireman's nozzle on your hose.
These cordless "pressure" washer are for people with no outlet/hose access. If you have all those you would get a legit unit (like Adam's Electric Pressure Washer 2.0). If anything Worx Hydro shot still the best. get the 40v version.
Well as of 5.50 min mark the foam attachment and the brush you lie you say it works so far the only thing you show is it’s clips Together. Maybe the ryobi doesn’t have the power to use them.
the ryobi is virtually the same unit, made by the same company, many of the parts are interchangeable they both have same power. Ryobi doe snot include the foam attachment because it is a 420 cheaper unit
I. Bought the Ryobi and it lasted about 5 minutes. The place where you connect your garden hose is made of plastic and the weight of the hose snapped it right off the unit. I returned it to HD and took my refund as I figured a replacement would not have lasted much longer. The hose connector is the weak point. My recommendation is to avoid these tools unless you’re going to be very careful to not flex or otherwise stress where you hook your water source to the tool.
“Professional soap gun” as you hold up a hose-connected gun. Just get the cheapest electric pressure washer off Amazon, get a foam cannon for $20 and the adapter and you’ll get WAY better results than anything in this video. These hart and ryobi sprayers are absolutely useless
Yes for this purpose they are useless. But I have also read numerous complaints from people about the cheap foam guns below $50 that they are useless, not built well, and have their own issues, and break easily. It seems with soap canons you need to be in the $50 range to get quality.

Can I use for inside home wall wash?
Only on concrete like garage, but hope you can vac up the water or it drains out for you
What camera equipment do you use
I use a Nikon Z6 camera kit, here it is on Amzon: amzn.to/30Ffr7p
I love the quality
LMAO! I'll keep with my WORX hydroshot! thanks 😂
400 PSI?
Yeah! the 2x20v batt upgraded model
What if you put a 4 amp hour battery in the ryobi does that give it more power
I plan to play with it more, but I used both batteries and it seemed the same to me.
I wonder if using a bigger ryobi battery would make any difference. They say the larger battery gives more power to there brushless tools
This blows my mind. Hack a way to attach a single piece wand to the Ryobi if possible.
it's their strange proprietary connection
Bought the Ryobi, on the original and replacement both failed to operate. Total disappointment as was looking forward to do some housework with it.
Try the DeWalt it is 550 PSI
@@jeffostroff thanks for the tip def will go out and get one
Good one
Waiting on the de walt 500
Hopefully this weekend
Just tuned in, 2 Liter pop bottle hookup?
There was not enough time as this video was running long, and we had several days of rain delays, so I'm doing a video this week on hacks to try on the Hart and Ryobi sprayer. I spent 3 hours of tense cutting room activity trying to pare this video down below 30 minutes.
Is that the Auto Geek foam attachment ?
Yes it is. We have links in video description. Same company makes it for a few companies
Prediction. 100% identical. Same battery cell count, and above all RYOBI is the customer support for hart tools.
Parts are supplied by another outside company.
Whats the run time battery capacity on each?
I have not done a full timed experiment, but I think about 30 minutes on a 4 AH battery
Jeff i would really like if you did a review on the kobalt 24v ratchet
That sounds like a good idea for a to review
I went to my Home Depot today, and they removed all the ryobi deal days stuff. Any other locations and theories ?
Josh McSweeney i went in today to get the battery kit, whole section replaced with brooms and hoses
Purchase online
When the display is running down, and some stores ran out of batteries already, they likely are just moving the display around. I think the sale ends on 8/3.
Yes, if not in stores, just ship it to your house.
I think the stores and tool manufacturers are all having COVI19 supply issues
I saw Hart one in Walmart today seemed interesting
Would like to see these Hart Pressurized Vehicle Cleaner go on sale!
It seems like your using the Ryobi more.
Now that I have the DeWalt, it will be my goto, it is twice as powerful
DeWalt has a 550 psi one that just came out.
We bought it yesterday in my livestream from Home Depot. You missed it, but the video is online.
@@jeffostroff Nice ! Hope you do a comparison.
Wtf..u should try the highest powerfull and chepest intge wordld from china abou 300 watt motor 50 bar or 800 psi ...in Lazada ...
The 4ah batteries are completely out in Florida
They were gone at our home Depot
Getting low in stores in Massachusetts but still available..
Closest ones to me are 6 listed at a HD 45 miles away.
I'm now very curious if I can wash the "dog" with this...
(Not actual dog. Professional actor used.)
Yes I think you can
Some times do not spray because grab foam
Not sure what you are saying
@@jeffostroff puede ser que no arroja líquido por qué el químico hace espuma
If it allows for it it might be a little stronger the th 4.0 amp battery!
I'm not convinced they get more powerful with a bigger battery, the pump is likely regulated so it won't matter what size battery you put in there.
Check out the new Dewalt DCPW550B.
I know I can't wait until they get it in, but $149!
I think these are more for washing the car and thats it
Nah just get yourself a SunJoe 2598MAX pressure washer for about $120 or so online.
I'd like to get my hands on a sun Joe, been seeing them at Sams Club, would love to test one out.
These cordless "pressure" washer are for people with no outlet/hose access. If you have all those you would get a legit unit (like Adam's Electric Pressure Washer 2.0). If anything Worx Hydro shot still the best. get the 40v version.
For soap on car the AutoGeek on hose works better.
Yes it foams up better, covered the car faster, and allows more dwell time for soap suds
I've seen a lot of these and the both seam to suck other than for car washing and light jobs.
That is really all they are advertised to do.
Vs dewalt?
Ryobi has a new one coming out 650 PSI! I want to test that one when I get my hands on it
Well as of 5.50 min mark the foam attachment and the brush you lie you say it works so far the only thing you show is it’s clips
Together. Maybe the ryobi doesn’t have the power to use them.
the ryobi is virtually the same unit, made by the same company, many of the parts are interchangeable they both have same power. Ryobi doe snot include the foam attachment because it is a 420 cheaper unit
That is the worst foam cannon I have ever seen from hart
Nothing beats a real foam gun hooked up to a hose.
@@jeffostroff right
Elevate the bucket
Will try that next time we have it out
Should have tried the 4ah battery :)
We have used it with a few batterie including 4 ah, no change
Also nothing wrong with brushed tools the average person would know the difference plus brush tools tend to take more abuse plus more self serviceable
hat is correct, only production level workers would see a useful gain
You should have seen my follow up video of the Ryobi hack were we replaced that plastic piece with metal
@@jeffostroff found it. I’ll give it another try. Thanks!
Sometimes which a cheap product, you just have to old fashioned DIY it. A $10 quick connect kit fixes the issue permanently.
🍻🍺
Thanks for joining us on the livestream again tonight Konaman
the ryobi one is rubbish I have one after two years it packed it in, and I love ryobi , but this is no good
The impact drivers from hart are junked I did a review on it and prove everyone wrong on my RUclips channel
I just bought a Dewalt during Black Friday sale, came in the 6 too combo kit with the toughsytem rolling box
Ugg I missed it
Always easy to watch it afterwards!
Add weight to the float
Great idea Clarence!
No problem buddy
The float on the hart is easily moved. Haven't used the ryobi
Great review! I just got the 550psi DeWALT cordless pressure cleaner. Check out my review.
Ruining makes hart hart is their Walmart line of products
Just find myself shouting get on with it
There's medicine for that
There is a high chance the motors on the inside are the same.
I would think so yes
Why are all the dummies here acting surprised they're similar??!
They're literally from the same company bwhahwh. TTI
