I was interested in these until I realized how the bag is branded. It looks like a bag someone forgot to pull the tags off of. I don’t need the see the brand of whatever I bought so prominently. I’d rather the brand speak well so I can tell people about it.
$145 for a bag I'd rarely use? No thanks. Maybe if I was a mobile mechanic or tow truck operator. The $10 HF bag works just fine for the rare case you need the tools - spend your money elsewhere.
Would have considered it in the evaluation, but read a reply on a realy not so bad review on pangolin of the company... might be professional with the bag, but not so pro on direct communication. Now, it's "no support this" from my side - Anyways, thanks for the review.
I just picked up the rolling tool kits from Bucket Boss, but I needed some good socket holders, so I used your link and snagged some up. If the Bucket Boss kits don't work, I will snag one of these Pangolins.
Just my opinion, but I think the guys driving 100k+ rigs won't bat an eye at the price. Not everything is made for everyone. Buy the best you can afford and you'll have fewer regrets.
Your left side lighting is blown out. Try a soft box with a constant light. Something like a Godox SL60. Also a small LED light behind your seat can help with contrast lighting. I’m a photographer/videographer in my spare time. Lol.
Thanks! I actually have a soft light there, but left it turned up too high. I hope to have some more lighting figured out soon, but having just moved it’s a work in progress!
I really like the design and can sort of stomach the cost of it. Really the only thing the I don't care for out of this and pretty much all of Step 22 bags is the brown labels on them. My OCD thinks it is cardboard or leather and needs to be removed to move on with life. Honestly, if they made the label more of a gray or charcoal color, I would be on board. I am not a fan of brown that looks like card board or leather. I know, I'm odd but at least I will admit it.
Yeah, I agree. It looks like somebody bought it and didn't take the tags off before using. I think Blue Ridge Overland makes something similar that doesn't have all the crazy branding on it.
Sorry but these are now $160 and I simply don't see the value in them. I can get any number of similar tool rolls in the $20 to $30 on Amazon. Plus, I am not overly convinced by the tool roll concept when trying to store a lot of tools as when rolled they become extra bulky.. That said, I have ordered a Chicom version just to store cables and other hobby related stuff in my vehicle, but I think I will be hanging it off the back of the rear seats rather than trying to stow it "away" anywhere....
I was wasn’t sure about buying it….until you said “it looks cool”…that was all I needed to hear, I’m buying it!
😂😂😂😂😂
Nice tool bag. I’d buy for the looks for sure.
Ooohhhhh, I just want the bag 😍. Actually I want a dozen of them. I like nice things too. Nice review ❤️
I got one. It's really cool! Thanks!
Nice bag! Should be $59.95 MAX. Must be a market for Padagucci tool bags. I'm in the wrong industry!
$145.oo Looks nice but.... I'll keep what I have. Regards from Ody Slim
Great looking tool roll kit.
Tekton Tool Roll! 🤟
Dammmnn $145 for tools bag no thanks
Was it $150 when you bought it?
That's one of the best tool rolls I have seen. Any Aussie distributors? I can't seem to find one and I was hoping to avoid delivery fees.
Looks cool but for that price no thanks.
Great review, really detailed and well thought out. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Love it! If my BROG tool roll ever wears out I’m definitely getting this.
I love this. I just can't pay 160 for it.

That and the hokey endangered species names for their items. I bought Blue Ridge Overland gear for the tool roll.
Nice job god bless
I have one! But it is still sitting in its plastic :(

This transitions between my vehicle and house, so I’m using it a lot of home projects - especially since we just moved in!

Blue Ridge Tool roll is made in the USA and cheaper. Pass

Don’t be sorry, it’s your choice and everyone places value in different things! I still have mine and still love the roll style!
