Love how you understand the force and how these characters should act. Anakin's panic when he wakes up in the tank, and Vader feeling good again fueling the darkness within him to crave more power to desperately cling on to Padme is so in character. You got a real knack for this man
One often forgets the fact that Darth Vader is essentially a quadriplegic burn victim in constant life-support, the thought of waking up like that one day without explanation is trauma-inducing all on it's own. Great story so far btw.
Bacta and star wars medicine should be able to fix the burn issues, but the dark side + palpatine keep that from happening. vaders greatest source of hatred has always been targeted at himself.

And I got to say, poor Anakin missing out on his own love life while Vader gets to relive it twice, he even gets to make the kids for a second time *dead* I genuinely hope this won't be you're only what if series tho, and I for one look forward to at least another handful of episodes, assuming you go all the way to revenge of the sith with this and (maybe) the OT beyond.

Love what you're going so far. And of course Anakin would apologize to a Droid such a nice guy (I think not having R2 is going to hurt Anakin psychologically. Hunt for R2?) oh yeah and one more thing I have to know does Anakin go with the ultimate one-liner of "I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere." Anakin never hated Ahsoka even when he was Vader he offered Ahsoka a chance to join him so I would make the argument that Anakin would still want to train Ahsoka(maybe he would train her in the " true way" of using the force).
I imagine Anakin in the future, if he makes it on to the Death Star, is going to be very attentive of the Rebels making their way off station (and of course won't even fight Obi-Wan, lol)
Haha I forgot about the sand line to be honest, but now that you mention it I wanna sneak it in there somehow 😂 also great point about Ashoka, I will definitely need to consider how that will play out!!
You have me hooked. I had no idea bout the neural needles. I had assumed that the cybernetics were hooked up to the peripheral nerves. Then again, perhaps the damage to his peripheral nerves was so extensive that there was no other way.

That was very dark and intense. You don't sugarcoat Vader at all; he's still a Sith. He means well but his mind is twisted by the dark side. For all that he wishes to protect her, he himself is the greatest danger to Padme. My favorite parts are the ones with Anakin in ANH. This may be a minor detail, but I like how he calms himself down using Jedi techniques; I wonder if learning to function in a horrifically mutilated body would unironically make him a better Jedi in this timeline. And then there is the looming threat of Sidious: would Anakin at that age, without preparation, be able to fool him? I don't think so, though I hope for the best. Poor boy. Can't wait to see Anakin pretending to be Vader. The circumstances could force a lot of character development on his part. I appreciate the clarification regarding the suit and neural needles. Anakin is lucky this isn't the legends version...

I don’t want to rush you but seeing the upload pacing of the previous parts being only in the same month. I am kinda curious on what’s taking a longer amount of time. Of course, take all the time you need, a good story must not be rushed.
I'm excited to see where the story goes and I can't wait to see how Vader interacts with Ahsoka the only other person then his mother and wife that he cared about
I can imagine Vader either manipulating his way into the restricted section, or sneaking in. Then maybe he’ll leave force heal. Another possible thing is searching the Jedi texts in other temples, though he may have already tried that in the original timeline during the empire era. Also, were there any Jedi stuff in starlight beacon? If so then maybe the ruins of starlight beacon may have something? Assuming the ruins exist and weren’t cleaned up a ton or anything.
If im guessing where we are with Anakin, he is around the time of rogue one, If you follow "cannon", krennic should be visiting him soon about the deathstar. Leading to Darth Vader's infamous "dad joke" and the ever cool hallway scene. of course Anakin wouldn't act that way, nor do I know what vader was doing during the legends version of events. Overall im enjoying the story and will be interested to see where its going. I dont have faith that Vader can wait 3 years to enact his plan to destroy Sidious, especially with how he will have to leave padme for long peroids of time alone with the sith. As for Anakin, that's the real wild card, his disorientation and the speed of event could force him to "act" the dark lord for at least a little while, Leia meeting will be interesting.
Oh yea you bring up a great point!! I think you may be suprised by Vader's patience, I think his fear of loss would really make him not want to mess up this 2nd chance!

@@Randomthew Well Vader inside Anakin's body spending time with Padmé during the courtship while Anakin has to be inside Vader's body... Vader feels almost like a "dirty old man." I know for a fact that if I myself went back into the body of me from let's say 20 years ago THAT version of me would have a major freakout session.
@@Fenris77 Bro Vader died at age of 45. During the events of "A New Hope" he was barely 41. Back in the time when Anakin married Padmé, she was 24 and Ani was 19. So technically that's 17-16 years apart even by your logic. In any case, Vader and Anakin are the same person and consciousness. It's not like Vader possessed Anakin. He did everything willingly. I like how Vader tried to put a mask of Ani's personality first but at the end he realised his laughs and smiles are genuine happiness and he doesn't need to force anything.
Just my opinion but switching back and forth in a novel works but switching back and forth in and an audio/video doesn't work, fir me. If the story requires Anakin's prospective do it in a separate video or at the end of your video, don't break up momentum. As I said it's just my opinion but back and forth during the story messes with the narrative flow. Think of it just like multiple characters in a story, when prospective changes it's normally done in different chapters for each character like Vader's chapter then Anakin chapters

Okay, I have an issue with this part. I think you need to answer a question regarding it. It makes no sense to show Anakin's perspective on it. Infact, Anakin's perspective really shouldn't matter. After all if his future self went in the past, then future self is changing things in the past. He already began to change things in your last story! The only way of seeing Anakin in the future would be what the future looks like 'after' his future self changed the past, and that would give too much away. And seeing he's fucked up in a bacta tank, that's clearly not the case. The only way this wouldn't occur is if the past he went into is NOT his current time line, and is in an alternate universe timeline that doesn't effect his future. So, that becomes my question.....are these two timelines considered as alternate universe, different dimension, or the same time line? Cuz, if it's the same timeline, then you just fucked up on your own story. So, you need to think really hard on this, since you're now showing Anakin's perspective. And your viewers need to know this. It's kind of important in order to properly move the story forward.
I think you answer your own question. Because you see Anakin making changes in the past and you see this doesn't affect the future this means these are two separate timelines. I do think it is important to clarify that and he might want to do that at the beginning of the next video just to make it clear. (either that or this is going to be one really interesting full circle thing lol)
