I agree, I was able to purchase a new limited trim (most features) legacy for $27,000 in 2019 which was an excellent price since they are usually $30,000. Nowadays a top trim Corolla sells for the same price. Plus EVs are too pricey and don't make sense at all unless the price drops. Forget the tax credits. It is only for very high income households.

Correct. Electric motors are much easier to make and be made very reliably. The tech in in the batteries, actually. It should not be that expensive
