@brettwilkins1 thats the hard part of balancing if it's random you don't want the chances to be too low but do you even want it to be random for consistency reasons. I thinks that's why pacmans items aren't random because you do have combos with the items and depending on the percent is the item you want so maybe they won't be random for granny.

As excited as I am for grandma, I’m really hoping they bring back my Powdered Toast Man! He had so much potential to expand upon his fun move set, if he’s not going to be in the starting lineup then I hope they add him as a DLC character
I think they’ve said there will be 3-4 paid DLC slots, and using them to just bring back characters that were already in the first game probably wouldn’t go over too well… It would be neat if we eventually somehow got an Ultimate version of NASB2 that adds in all the cut characters but that’s probably not gonna happen and probably just pure copium from a guy who had both of his mains deconfirmed

Huh... I got to say, I'm suprised with this spotlight. If they could make Hugh Neutron, someone who doesn't fight on purpose, a character, they can make Gertie, someone with lots of fighting experience, a character. P.S, Adding Gertie's last name to the intro was a hilarious Easter Egg.
This is the hilarity this game has needed! So much focus on being bigger, better, competitive, etc has taken some fun out of it, but this just makes me smile from ear to ear.

@@drehm1011 in guilty gear a charachter called faust has a similar mechanic and does combo routes with whatever item he gets.

I think whatever remains of THQ retains part of the rights to Tak. Should be easier to negotiate than Fairly OddParents at least.
