Great video Geoff, great progress, can't wait to see the pour. Have Bealy Good Day to you and Mrs Bealy Good.👋👋🌞🌞☀️☀️👍👍
Thanks, you too!
Wow, so exciting. This is House is going to be HUGE. So happy for you and Momma B
I remember Mrs Bealy Good saying how small it was going to be. Everything changes when the foundation is done. HUGE.
The foundation alone is a thing of beauty! I get anxious waiting for the next video to come out.
Another good one was DP's saw build attachment for his excavator. ❤this!
Makes me smile every time I see the GREEN grass🙂
Everything is looking very nice!
A really nice update, Geoff. When it's done, you will have a magnificent gathering place for family & friends. Very nice seeing Q working with you today. Thanks for sharing, and looking forward to the aeration placement.
Going to be a nice place to live - well planned
Very entertaining Bealy. Everything is coming right along. Work steady, be safe, and don't overdo it. God Bless to You All.
Thanks 👍
Another nice video G&J!
Great music along with the drone shots.
Looks like your loosing some #'s. Working on your project like you are does that😉
Keep up the good work & stay safe!
Coming along well bro, look forward to the concrete pour. Safe travels and happy easter. Ken.
Thanks! You too!
Looking awesone!! Such hard workers! GREAT JOB!!!
Love the sing at the end.
Aw Hell !! Starting to look like something.. lololol... Man, loving that burn tool for the forms, now, that makes a nice smooth cut, I know !! Movin' on, movin' on !! lolol... Great video Geoff !! Have a Great Evening Man !!
The drone shots bring it all together thanks to
Oh yah! It's coming together fast now. Looking forward to the first pour next week. Cheers
Starting to look like something now. Looking good Mr. Bealy Good.👍
Looking good my friend definitely a lot of work
Thank you both for bringing us along on this journey. It's always a blessing to see a new video. We miss Dogdog!
Our Doodle passed away last year. Their personality is almost identical. It's great to see him on your video. I can't imagine keeping him clean there. Lol
Awww. 😢. Sorry to hear that. Doodles are amazing. She stays clean for a day after a bath. That’s about all we get 🤣
The place is really coming together. I am anxious to see how the ICF construction works out with so many corners, curves, and angles. The music is especially good in this video. I think you've used the song before, just not in one video.
I watch these episodes and think that it looks like fun…something that I want to do. Then I get a reminder from another channel that I’ve got another episode of their project (also fun) and realize that I’m doing exactly what I really want to do. See you on the next installment. Thx for the content. 💥
Geoff you have to be excited getting close to the pour! Everything looks awesome! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Definitely a little more spring in your step, Geoff. Can tell you’re starting to get excited about pouring the concrete! Looking good, Man!
Looking very good. And your helpers are good too. That's a great combo. e-bike is cool. Technology has come a long way. I got into the 40-volt lawnmower line of Ryobi last year. I love it. And like you said, having multiple batteries is the way to go. No down time. But I do love my gas powered John Deer rider for the big cuts and other jobs around the house. Love the power and the sound. 😂
Thanks 👍
Hey Dr. BG, Excellent progress! Great video! One thought for "pour" day.....have you considered having some cement molds for any extra cement?? Like parking bumpers, walk-way pavers, hiking trail markers, shore-line anchors to tie up boats, driveway markers, cement overshoes for BIG FOOT.....anything cement so the extra isn't wasted. Thumbs up! Jim
Smart plan. I’ve seen a couple channels do that. Thanks.
Man Im so impressed by the video quality, the clarity, colours, saturation and sound are bloody beautiful.
Ty
Anyone else noticed that this makes the 2nd video that came out and it didn't show up on my subscription. I had to go to the channel directly to see the new videos
Interesting.
it's looking good, can't wait for the pore 👍👍👍👍👍
Great video as usuall Geoff.Dont know what U tube are up to but its not showing in my subscriptions.
Looks Good! Stiffbacks and Brace Brace those corners! ;-) Hey day of placement, get your factory rep back out , he should be final go ahead, or, put it on him ;-) ;-) Looks good though!
“ Quincy’s going on a road trip!” Woooohoooooo!
The time-lapse footage is insane. Folks, we gotta be extra careful way up atop the top step of those ladders…..which involves triple-pre-planning on how the high-level trapeze dance, concrete pour can be achieved without somebody breaking their neck!
The next few videos will be crucial and exciting. We can only hope that. Letsdig18 makes a cameo appearance or two during the exciting foundation poor..
This is becoming very impressive and the music is always great.
Ty
WOW REALLY MOVING ON
Looks like an archaeological dig site from the air.
Doing a great job and I hope everyone is doing well
Let's get another inspection from Mrs. Bealygood, just to make sure yall not half stepping
Now that's a big house
Good job guys
Coming along now . Looking good Thanks
Thank you 👍
Keep going, it looks good.
Call doing good job I'm a contractor awesome job thx for vidoes
Thanks 👍
Very nice,great progress,just gotta stay on top of it.carry on.great video 😎😎😎👍👍👍
Will be interested in seeing how plumbing, electric, HVAC, etc are installed in exterior walls. If they are.
It is an interesting build - all the different elements just with the ICF alone. Good progress too - ready for pour coming up - nearly:). Hope your sister-in-law is OK Bealy Good.
Thanks 👍
Looks good. My grandfather was a mason...I mean a legit made his living mason. I helped him a couple of summers, doing smaller jobs. He was in his mid 70's then, and had scaled way back, only doing jobs he was interested in that let him show his skill...custom BBQ set ups, etc. He had mostly done stacked stone fireplaces over the years. Made his reputation doing those, but could do brick work too.
There are houses all over my old home town still using stone fireplaces he built. He taught me the basics. I remember his hands...so worn, callused up, so incredibly strong...anyway he used to get a bit miffed when a customer or other looky-loo would come around and slow us down. He would look down at me, and wink...then say "OK boy, lets get after it, Less yakkin,', more stackin"" That would usually convey the message. This video brought that memory back.
😁❤️
Are you sure you are of this world? The outline of the house and pool looks like a message to observers in outer space.
🤫
I got one the Jasion X-Hunters last year & the weather turned bad so i only got about 10 miles on it but plan on lot more soon as the temps get higher !
I liove the dual-shock system on the kid’s bike.
I have 2 RAD bikes. One is a folding e-bike for travel..
Jeff!
Not all of your vids are popping on my notifications.
I’m only a YT watcher, maybe look at the back side setting 🤷🏻♂️
Love the progress, i was hoping for a drone shot at the end ! Im curious if your windows will be hurricane rated since the house is? Nana wall Is going to be awesome!
Yes
Great videos and progress . Good detail of many new things available . Thanks for the time to share all this . Maybe I missed it somewhere but are we allowed to know the square footage of this beautiful home . Building homes many years ago and to see all the new methods and products today is exciting to see .
about 9k conditioned. Thanks
Alway Interesting hoe all the Wall to grow, and to a Hall to become. Gladden my from Videos to Video to see what You have Planing. Greeting from Austria 👌
No video for three days??? Agh... I need more Bealy videos.... where are my daily videos? :D
In the video, you were showing signs of already having a concrete schedule. You are a good manager! The footer shape looks like Bigfoot has been in the area! Will you need hardware cloth to keep the concrete from flowing out the corners?
We have gates corners going on it. There will be a video of doing all the plumbing and final prep before the pour video. Thanks 😊
Mr Bealy Good - Sir.... it must be pretty stressful but are you getting excited? Ive been watching the channel for a long time and im definitely getting excited! hope all goes well - take care and stay safe!
Yeah. It’s pretty cool. 😎
Does the E-Bike come with a side car for Dog Dog?
Mr. Bealy check the walls on the theatre area from the drone shot your walls don't look square something is definitely off ,hate to pour and find the mistake.
The walls are all square, but not yet straight. Doesn't get all lined up till the concrete pour. It is nerve racking, lol
It may be to late by now, but make sure you have the ground treated very well for termites. They are have a lot
of problems around here with them getting in the foam.
I wonder why they hang out in the foam when there’s nothing to eat. 🤔
No clue. But I never realized it was a problem until a builder told me about it. @@BealyGood
Don't know what is going on, but I am subscribed and have notifications switched on. I didn't get a notification of this video, and it still isn't showing on my list of subscribed channels
Geoff I really enjoy your content and your channel. Chris is a pivotal part of this he is there for you it seems like exactly when you need him. But when you are walking and videoing can you please stop spinning around in your Poodle Skirt some of us get dizzy and when you are on your 5th orbit OMG. Thank you Ed in Partlow, Virginia
🤣🤣. I cut a bunch out and slowed down 🤔🤷🏻♂️. But I’ll try
@@BealyGood thanks Geoff did you get the Poodle skirt dirty?
👍
Looks like you have the front mud guard on that "Euybike" on backwards. The water and mud will still splash up and wet you through, the way you have it at the moment.
It's possible , Dalton put it together, I'll blame him, lol
Did you rent the shoring or buy it optimistically thinking there are a lot of ICF jobs in the future? Looks shiny and new. The foam melter gun looks like fun, and doesn't spread foam beads everywhere. And one more edit, are the aerators active in the pond? I see several round light spots at 13:50.
Good eye 😁. Coming up in a video. Hopefully Thursday.
Yes, I bought the bracing. We have 3 houses to build. If I don’t have anything after that then I’ll sell them.
👍👍👍
Good morning 🌅 two questions today:
1. How do seal the open ends, to keep the concrete in?
2. What’s happening on the 90 acre site please?
I was actually thinking about doing an update on the 90 acre property yesterday. So I’ll probably make that happen. If you are referring to keeping the concrete in on the end of the brick ledge, I will block out wood there. There will be an entire video just on prepping for the pour, and that will be part of it. Thanks.
Thanks for taking the time to respond 🙏
The house build is really coming along...think this will be completed and all moved in before Christmas 2024??
Thanks. Not a chance. Maybe Christmas 2025. Maybe.
Why the 3 doors by the pool
One door goes to the pool bath. The other two fold up to have it open to outside
Technical question; for the design of the foundation of the structure, can cross walls be tied in using the ICF blocks? Or is this risky?
You can build all of the walls out of ICF if you want to, inside as well. Just need footing under it all.
Hey Bealy Good! We want to see Mrs Bealy Good at the controls of the ebike and Mr Bealy Good on the back! Ride ride ride!
this is going to be one hella pour i hope you get a good pump operator he will make or break you
What does the vertical reinforcing look like for the columns on the pond side?
Very busy. I’ll do some up close on it when I tie it up
What are the blocks that look like they are tilting out of the wall? Coming along nicely.
Those are the brick ledges. Thanks
Pardon my ignorance, but why are the forms not stacked brickstyle? Just curious.
Common seam that is necessary to keep the webs lined up depending on the length of the wall. I went into it in more detail in my last video.
I think Mr Bealy Good explained that in the previous post.... but don't quote me on that
Hey Mr. Bealy Good, why ICF vs standard concrete forms? It would have been done 2 weeks ago if you did it traditionally...
Thanks for the video
Lots of reasons. When I’m done the walls will already be insulated and have the studs built in for screwing in Sheetrock, etc. I don’t have a bunch of concrete forms or the crew size to set that up. Also, if I just went out there with a full crew and focused on nothing but stacking block, I would’ve been done two weeks weeks ago with Icf . What about my videos makes people think that I’m out there 10 hours a day for weeks on the end, not getting done, lol.
@@BealyGood Thanks for the explanation. It'll be interesting to see the "studs built in for screwing in Sheetrock" in action.
👋👋
What are you cutting panels with?
A katana, hot knife. And a Japanese double sided wood carving knife.
Any idea what the total cost for the home and pool will be when finished?
I have a rough idea
You forgot to link for the electric bike. Again! What's the matter with you, gettin old Geoff?
Working 3 jobs will do that to you, lol. Fixed. Thanks
No link for the electric bike
Fixed. Thanks
Did you say the pool pour is Monday?😲👍🙂
Yup
@@BealyGood Yay!!!
Not sure if you’ve said but how many pours are will this take?
The basement is one pour. Counting the pools. The entire project will be 7 pours plus the footing that’s already done
@@BealyGood Wow! Thanks. Looking great so far.
Voluntold
Your video doesn't show up on my feed. Weird
Where’s the eBike link?
In the description.
Dang snowflake got in my eye 😃
@@victorlawver6957 🤣🤣🤣
Here in Sydney, there are numerous house fires from people charging their batteries. It seems the cheap imported batteries are the problem, not the original brand. BEWARE
👍🏼
It took a long time to come up with "big boy" Lego's.
Hmm, didn't show up in my subs again but did on my home page, what are you doing RUclips?
volentold
😁
16" that's a lot of fill. I'm guessing something like 4" of foam, 4" of concrete, and 8" something that will both choke up tight and drain, like Item 4?
Thanks for sharing, and good luck on your upcoming pour.
6” of #4 clean stone. 4” of #57. 2” foam and 4” concrete. It’s a lot 😳. Thanks 😊
Are you just doing basement ICF or is the whole house going to be ICF? Don't remember if you mentioned it before. Anyway, it's coming along nicely.
Edit: Looks like it might be whole house with the number of forms you still have that you haven't used. Noticed it in the drone footage at the end, lol.
Whole house :)
Hey Geoff what happened good old fashioned pedal bikes? Peddle bikes are part of the health and fitness program of the company. I hate to tell you that you could use some health and fitness lol lead by example. Just picking on you brother.
You can pedal these two. Lol you just set the assist level so you can start out with a lot of assist and take it down lower each week until you are super healthy. 🤣
@BealyGood awesome sooooo when are we going to see you showing us each day how that works? If you're going to promote it you also have to practice what you are promoting.......just saying
I would not call it a mansion. It’sjusta house. You dont want to attract the wrong attention, and someone decide that THEY would like it, and turn it into a B&B!
I don't understand why you are not staggering ALL of the joints
A couple of reasons but the major one is there are nailing "studs" inside the ICF blocks and you need them to align vertically. Since you work from the corners to some point where they meet you will have to adjust at that point. One point to adjust. Some foam and temporary bracing and you end up with one solid concrete wall. Bonus one super insulated wall.
