@@HariKrishnan-pe3ft No You are making English language as more oprtunities and hating & insulting who can't speak. If you want to spread *THE OLDEST LANGUAGE "TAMIL"* in all over india, you should open Tamil speaking course in other states. Instead of doing this you peoples are simply hating others who can't understand your language.
Well, you are making a mistake there.. Tamil is a regional language and should be spoken in it's own state... if what you are saying should happen, then why Tamil only, why not other languages like Bengali, Gujarati, Marathi , etc should be taught in other states too? I'm against only one thing that people should not choose Hindi over their native language. Hindi should be learned as a 2nd or 3rd language on a voluntary basis & there should be no compulsion to learn it. Though, States language should be compulsory... i speak all the three languages(Hindi, English and my mother tongue).
@Rajan R dude, did i say something about imposing Hindi? did i ask you to learn Hindi? no!! i said it's fine if people are learning Hindi..!! and yeah, people from outside should definitely learn it's respective regional language. regarding, 3 language rule in Hindi speaking states, let's me tell you states like Bihar, up, Rajasthan have their own regional language(Maithili, Magahi, Bhojpuri, Rajasthani) though they consider Hindi as a supreme language over their own, i seriously pity on them. Though they are quite poor in English as most of these parts are underdeveloped. Do not take me as a Hindi supporter, I'm not. I'm strictly against Hindi imposition and it's identity as a national language as depicted by other fellow north Indians. i totally support the notion of people to learn and adapt to the respective regional languages of the states no matter whether it's Tamil, deluge, kannada, Marathi or anything else if they are planning to set their foot on their soil permanently.
We are Bengalis. We oppose imposition of Hindi vehemently. It's ok with us if we learn Hindi voluntarily. Hindi is just an official language of India not a national language. We have 22 national languages.

our ex cm of Tamil Nadu speach: "A man had two dogs - a big one and a small one. He wanted his dogs to go in and out of the house freely without him having to keep the house door open all the time. So he built two “trap doors” - one big trap door for the big dog and one small for the small dog. Neighbors who saw these two doors laughed at him and called him an idiot. Why put a big door and a small door? All that was needed was the big door. Both the big and the small dog could use it! Indian government’s arguments for making Hindi the official or link language of India are as ridiculous as the need for a big door and a small door for the big dog and the small dog. Indian government agrees that English is needed for communication with the world, and every school in India teaches English after the fifth grade. Then the Indian government says that all of us should know Hindi also in order to communicate amongst ourselves within India. I ask, “Since every school in India teaches English, why can’t it be our link language? Why do Tamils have to study English for communication with the world and Hindi for communications within India? Do we need a big door for the big dog and a small door for the small dog? I say, let the small dog use the big door too!” "

Why can't India function and be united with just two languages? One, being one's mother tongue (be it Hindi, Kannada, Tamil whatever), and second; English which is global, technical and functional. This will reduce the burden on everyone. The problem comes only when Hindi speakers adamantly don't or can't learn English and force others to learn Hindi.

In a historic judgement, the Gujarat High Court upheld the fact that there is no national language for India. Gujarat High Court has observed that though majority of people in India have accepted Hindi as a national language, there was nothing on record to suggest that any provision has been made or order issued declaring Hindi as a national language of the country. The observation was made by division bench of Chief Justice S.J. Mukhopadhaya and justice A.S. Dave.

There is a lot difference between National language and Nations official language. National language is a symbol, where official language is for practice. National language is not must for a country but official language is must. We have national flag, national anthem, national flower, animal, bird etc. but we don't have any national language. We do have nations official languages Hindi and English. Some states opted Hindi and some opted English for official purposes and parliamentary affairs. Knowingly or unknowingly the Hindi speakers especially from the northern part of India started believing and saying Hindi is national language. But people from southern part of India stick to fact Hindi is just one of the official languages. Let us have a look at USA and Canada. Both have so many things in common. You don't find any difference between these countries if you travel between them. But when it comes to language, they are totally different from each other. USA has national language. But Canada doesnt have any national language. The reason is, two languages are spoken in Canada. English and French are two official languages in Canada. Not all English speakers are French speakers and not all French speakers are English speaker. Having around 22 different languages, national language is meaningless term in India. There are languages which are older, better established and richer in literature than Hindi. How come Hindi is called as national language. But nothing wrong in learning other languages, that is different story. Being a true Indian, we love all the language and we should respect every language spoken in India.

***** If the argument was of the Origin of Human Begins or Evolution, then it certainly would be a different argument. When it comes to the argument of whether Sanskrit is an Indian Language ? then the Certainly the answer is NO. Sanskrit is the language of the Barbaric Aryan Nomadic tribe who intruded into India through the Khyber pass. Tamil is the language of the Original Inhabitants of India, and the Oldest and Still spoken language in the world.
***** "The non-Aryan language/Dravidian Language Tamil is the oldest language, Prakrit is the second oldest, Pali is the third oldest and Sanskrit is the fourth oldest language. The Sanskrit came with the Aryans and became popular due to spread of Vedic and Brahmanical religion in India. It is among one of the most tedious languages in the world. Aryans made it an elite language by not spreading it into masses to maintain the supremacy of few. Pali was the soul of Buddhism but with the advent of Mahayana sect of Buddhism Sanskrit became popular as a Brahmanical element in the Buddhism so we see many Buddhist scriptures in Sanskrit as well. In Jainism it entered with the advent of Shwetambar sect. Prakrit continued to be a language of masses and we find little intellectual or religious work in Prakrit. Before the entry of Aryans into India, the Dravidian languages were spoken by the inhabitants of India; Tamil language is one of the many Dravidian languages presently spoken in India. Sanskrit has borrowed a lot from these languages. The route that Aryans have followed does not have hard Dee where one has to turn the tongue upward as in Ladkee (girl) or Ladka (boy). These sounds and many more in Sanskrit and its derivatives have been borrowed from Dravidian Languages. The root or mother language of Latin and Sanskrit is the same. That is why Sanskrit is included in Indo Europian group of languages. Tamil could not be linked to any language that existed outside India. It is truly Indian language that has origin and history of evolution in India. As I know, there is only one word which is similar in Tamil and Hybrew - the one used for peacock. Some of the seals of Harrapan civilisation have been deciphered using Dravidian languages, indicating that it prevailed in India much before the arrival of Sanskrit."
***** I don't blame you, you are just a victim of the Brahmin Propaganda. Brahmins maintained purity of their language because of the fear of local language of masses. Why did the Brahmins try to keep their language different than that of the masses? The reason is that they wanted to maintain their supremacy through it. The process is continuing even now. When elites speak of it a "pure" they actually mean "static", and anything becomes static then it merits the title of "dead". The Aryans have come from outside India and the original indigenous residents were the Naagas. They were expert in drawing pictures, they later married Vedic Aryans and it is customary to include Naaga vamsha into the Aryan fold. He also acknowledges the presence of non-Aryan languages like Asur bhasha, Dravida bhasha, Chinese and Red Indian and African languages. Ashokan India was speaking Prakrit and not Sanskrit Hindutwavadis like to project that the main stream of Indian thought flows through Sanskrit. This is totally false, as can be seen by historical evidences of epigraphs. Original inscriptions were not Sanskrit. Apart from Ashoka's edicts, the most ancient inscriptions of Arekmedu, which talk of Buddha's teachings, were not in Sanskrit but in Prakrit. "Even much later, in the first half of the first century of Christian era when appeared the first dated Tamil inscriptions, those of Virapatnam - Arikamedu near Pondicherry, Sanskrit was not yet current in Tamilanad as the inscriptions in an Indo-Aryan language found along with the Tamil inscriptions are in Prakrit. These inscriptions are no doubt very short and very few but we can at least be sure that they are exactly comparable with those of Ceylon at the same epoch; here also middle-Indian was employed and not Sanskrit. The characters of these inscriptions around the beginning of the Christian era the same and very similar in their shapes to the ancient Brahmi of Ashoka, giving supplementary evidence of the importance of the contribution of Ashoka's empire to the culture in the South. As late as Pallava times, the earlier Pallava inscriptions were in Prakrit and not Sanskrit.
***** "Nice trick isn't it ? When some one calls you Aryan Nomads outsiders, and reveals the truth that the Dravidians were the original Inhabitants of India, you just plainly say it is a British theory and try to dodge out. Its a nice trick, but it will not work with the Tamils, definitely not with me. Well, my comment might be long, but please do bear with me. Let me gets the facts right with the Aryan-Dravidian difference. We know who you Aryan outsiders are, and who they entered out Dravidian Land. The Aryans came to India in several waves. The earliest wave is represented by the Rig Vedic people who appeared in the subcontinent in about 1500 BC. They came into conflict with the indigenous inhabitants called the Dravidians mentioned as dasa or dasyus in Rig Veda. The Rig Veda mentions the defeat of Sambara by Divodasa, who belonged to the Bharata clan. The dasyus in the Rig Veda represent the original inhabitants of the country, and an Aryan chief who overpowered them was called Trasadvasyu. The Aryan chief was soft towards the dasas, but strongly hostile to the dasyus. The term dasyuhatya, slaughter of the dasyus, is repeatedly mentioned in the Rig Veda. Some of the chief tribes of the period were Yadu, Turvasu, Druhyu, Anu Puru, Kuru, Panchala, Bharata and Tritsu. Among the inter-tribal conflicts the most important was the "Battle of the Ten Kings." Before the coming of the Aryans in India, the greater part of Northern and North-Western India was inhabited by the Dravidians. On arrival of the Aryans, unable to meet their challenge, they gradually moved southwards. Dravidians were the first to use rivers for navigation and irrigation. Aryans arrived in north India somewhere from Iran and southern Russia at around 1500 BC. Before the Aryans, the Dravidian people resided in India. The Aryans disregarded the local cultures. They began conquering and taking control over regions in north India and at the same time pushed the local people southwards or towards the jungles and mountains in north India. According to this historical fact the general division of Indian society is made. North Indians are Aryans and south Indians are Dravidians."

***** Tamil is the Oldest and Still Spoken Language in the World. Tamil is the Language of the Original Inhabitants of India.
*****
"The non-Aryan language/Dravidian Language Tamil is the oldest language, Prakrit is the second oldest, Pali is the third oldest and Sanskrit is the fourth oldest language.

"Nice trick isn't it ?
Among the inter-tribal conflicts the most important was the "Battle of the Ten Kings."
Before the coming of the Aryans in India, the greater part of Northern and North-Western India was inhabited by the Dravidians.

HERE IS THE DIFFERENCE.
National language is a symbol. Official language is for practice.
National language can be only one. Official languages can be many.
National language is not necessary. But official language is necessary.
Countries having only one language spoken by all can have national language.
Countries having multiple languages cannot have National language.
National language will be official language. eg USA
Official language cannot be National language. eg Canada, India
My National Language is मराठी
We will never allow hindi imposition in Tamilnadu.

If you say Hindi is the national language of India. Then only 6 state use to talk Hindi. So you people mean this 6 state is India. These people don't know to respect others traditions and cultures.
My fav languages are Kannada and English
What I feel annoying is teaching us languages in school against our wishes I kinda feel our mother tongue and English are enough to learn but if we want we can opt for various other options but yeah I don't think I like to study hindi it's kinda boring and lame to study but I do love SPEAKING the language.
Yes.
தமிழ் must be made as the national language of India.
Let all north indians accept it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁😁😁
Telugu is my language. English is enough to connect not only Indians but with the world!
Today English is the "lingua franca" of India and world! English dominates India's fields of science, technology, research, space, business, job sector, education and much more...! In reality, English is the main language of India!
my suggestion is to make malayalam as india's national language. Why Hindi ??
Dennis what a joke ha ha...
Maybe in ur dream
This is not a comedy time 😂😂
As the guests said after 62 yr of Independence, what is the function Hindi is going to serve?? will it help us with higher education ?? will it unite us?? us mean I am talking about India not just North India. If we have answer to these two question we will get our national language.
Use English
Northener spread their culture in south... Why northerner not celebrate Onam.?.... Why southerner push to celebrate Holi, deepavali etc...?
Then why southerner worship Ganapathi ... notheners are not put murugan Idols in their temple ...why?
Indian all are worshiped folk village diety... why Brahmins spread their brahma and braminism ... sadanada darma method sudra , sathria, vaisya, Top one Brahmin caste separatist....

We dont need a "national language". If we do push for one it will only serve the purpose of dividing us into north and south.

North Indians some will say as ' being in India don't know hindi' .what a stupidity.actualy being in India they don't know that Hindi is also an other language like Tamil Telugu kannadam Malayalam tulu.

My mother tongue is the greatest of all language Tamil, i am so proud of our language. Long live tamil. No hindi in tamil nadu,
Even keralite's are not going to accept hindi as a national language. That'll never happen. We learnt that India is a country of diversity. So if a person loves India he should also love all Indian languages. Why giving importance to just one regional language?
The world first and oldest language Tamil only want to all
தமிழ் வாழ்க .வணக்கம்
Why don't north start learning south language and then decide which to choose... Partially supporting is not right... Hindi speakers will find it easy to adopt but what about non hindi speakers.. Already we have English as link language within India as well globally that's enough. If u really want national language then why not Sanskrit, Tamil which is been from generations.. Even 5 countries learn Tamil why not that.. Out of India no one learns Hindi compared to Tamil and sanscript. People speak urdu more than hindi i feel.. And hindi really sounds roud language. Even I read write and speak hindi it has same alphabets systems and gramer as Tamil, kannada etc does only matter of learning.. U northes better adopt our south languages in ur studies why only we south people learn north subject it's totally unfair
Ancient Bharatham doing business with the world since 2000/ 3000 years ago, you guess which is the business language of Bharatham and which has the most number of stone carvings in Bharatham and the world- representing Bharatham?
The answer is Tamil/ தமிழ்.
2000 years ago, everyone in Bharatham speaks Tamil and now you are talking about a barely a 200 yeas ago cooked language of hindi.. what an irony.. haiz..
For me Assamese is my national language which is older than Hindi.
I respect other Indian languages like Bengali,Bodo,Odiya,Punjabi,Tamil,Telugu,Kannada, Malayalam etc because these languages are not imposed upon us.
we are not hindi (hindi hain hum)....people are not speaking even proper hindi...they mix urdu...so what do you want ? we forget our mother tongue (mine is bengali)....the hindi circle just shouts like fools....bengali is better than hindi in every sense -- vocabulary, authenticity, uniqueness, sweetness, enrichment and literature...then why not bengali???? if I demand like that how will you feel??? all have to learn bengali....its absurd right...so its like Hindi also...we are not HINdi....we are Bharatiya or Indian.
India’s National language is Tamil . Better Hindians learn Tamil instead of English .
Why does Barkha call Hindi the National language when it is merely an Official language just like the other 22 --- Article 8 ?
Somin Mukherji stupidity?
Sanskrit is not mother of all Indian languages. Southren languages have a proto-dravidian language as their mother.
I hate Bollywood
I hate Cricket
Hindi isn't the national language. It's a regional language just like any other language we have like Tamil , Telugu , Malayalam , Kannada , Gujarati , bengali , etc. The hindi walas say that People learn English rather than hindi and it is affecting hindi . But that the same thing hindi walas want to do to other languages.
Just like Pakistan
Please separate south india
So that north india can speak or do any thing with Hindi
Barkha is the only one in the debate who is support of Hindi as national language. Rest of the speakers acknowledged its not.
guys ..learn Hindi...use it when u needed in North , if they come to our home town don't use to talk with them in Hindi ask them to learn our language...if they are not then don't make conversation in Hindi..use English or dig their head with our language.

This why in Tamilnadu Hindi banned I believe. If government says based on the interest of the citizens means many of Tamilnadu people would have learn but imposing other language where they united in different culture it’s absolutely unacceptable 🙏. When Tamilnadu people become ruling India we would like to impose Tamil. Did everyone will accept?
Kushboo did you went there for some snacks?
Each and every language deserves respect. It is wrong to impose anything forcefully into someone.
