Love what you do and would love to be a part of it however the $ of start up is a issue. Glad I have come across your videos they are interesting to watch
I've watched all of your videos and I love your passion. Too bad we don't have that kind of demand for these services here in Europe. Greetings from Poland!
Im super interested in your recoveries. I don't have any experience with drones but ive been watching your videos for a few months now and would love to get training and do what you do. I live in western ny along the pa border. So i could cover multiple states and dont mind driving.
I'm pretty sure the owners of the company are following all of the FAA's rules and requirements. Since they haven't responded yet in chat, I'll try to explain the concerns of the commenters above for people that don't know what the flight rules are. Part 107 certification is something you study for and eventually take an FAA exam for. There are paid online classes (like I did) or free lessons from various RUclipsr's. The concern is that people without a Part 107 license, can't legally fly a drone for profit. Unless part of the deal is getting their Part 107 afterwards or, the company found some magical loophole to allow all of these people to fly for money, I can't see how they get away with flying on their own. An operator without the license, has to have a certified Part 107 pilot ( PIC) standing right next to them and I doubt that's happening if and when they get calls for work. I took the 15 hour class with Pilot Institute to get my Part 107 and I had an easy time because I love all the aeronautical subject matter. For those that have no knowledge in this area, they're gonna be pretty intimidated even if they take the free classes online as the fastest way to learn the material but, the test isn't easy. I hope this company is doing this the right way as it could not only cause an issue for the operators in their fields but if someone gets seriously hurt or panics and flies into an aircraft overhead, it'll just give the FAA even more reason for tougher restrictions. I myself just bought the entire Matrice 30T package for Search and Rescue and commercial inspections but, I'd like to sign up and get trained to cover my area in East Tennessee. I just hope the guys are doing this the right way so they're successful in this venture. It's a great idea that most pilots would ever think of and I'm rooting for their success.
To become a licensed operator there is a very detailed process you need to go through which explains all of the certifications in detail. Thank you for the support!
doing this would be so cool but im in wisconsin and theres so many lows with drones, im not sure if you could even do moch s&s with a drone here, i know you cant use any drone for any type of hunting or recovery
Got any operators in The New Orleans area? I’ve been a drone pilot for about 3 yrs, have an Autel 640t v2 Thermal Drone. I’m about 30 miles north of New Orleans
I would think not. Their time, experience and business expenses still exist and aren't cheaper because DJI dropped the price of one Enterprise model. Plus, if those are their drones, they bought them all at full price and that's a lot of debt to try and pay off. Also, I don't think the 30T discount will be around indefinitely. It was either done because of Autel's EVO Max 4T sub $10k price point or, they have some manufacturing overages they're trying to dump. I'd bet it's because of Autel. I helped them out with that as I just purchased the full Matrice 30T package with 8 batteries, two controllers and all the other accessories.
I feel like this really takes away from being a hunter. This is going to drive people away from learning how to properly track blood trails and recover there harvest.
Not really. I would much rather blood trail my deer to his final resting place. Unfortunately, sometimes everything doesn’t go as planned. My dad made a great shot on a 166 inch buck last year, and if he hadn’t called someone with some good dogs, he probably wouldn’t have found it until it was spoiled at best. They were almost to the point of giving up, even with the dogs. The drone would’ve found him much sooner and with much less disturbance.
But what about when the blood ends while your properly tracking? It's not cheap to call in a drone so people will still make the effort but when you have a trophy or u really want to know what happened it helps another tool
When are you doing another in person training? This technology is amazing. It's going to change the game forever.
Game changer for ever for sure. Not sure we will be doing more in person. Maybe that will be on special occasions.
Love what you do and would love to be a part of it however the $ of start up is a issue. Glad I have come across your videos they are interesting to watch
Nice looking Farm Mike! What your doing is awesome. Hope someone from Missouri signs up. Enjoy all your vids!
I have mid Missouri covered.
@randyzimmerman4842 great to know. I hunt a farm off highway 19 between Cuba and Owensville. Sounds like you may not be too far from there.

Good image 😊
Good stuff. A little surprised nothing was stated about Part 107 certification. Especially that you had students with zero stick time.
Or that FAA requires you to maintain line of sight with your aircraft at all times

It's drone recovery legal in all states? Iowa?
How do i become an operator?
Do i need to buy the drone from you or just take the class?
Do you charge anuall licencing fees?
Do you have anyone in Arkansas?

I’m really anxious to become part of this family of operators! What if I’m in Ohio? Is the state big enough for more than one Dronedeer operator? 😂
Depends what part of Ohio you’re in
Im so down but i dont have a drone super passionate about white tail
Not sure where you are from but we still have openings to become operators in different states.
Do you have Operators in NY? More specifically, Central NY?
Please visit our website for more information. Thank you for the support!
How does one afford the $16000.00 drone. And then the accessories?
There are financing options available as well.
Has the price for the pilot program cheaper now drop that the Matrice has dropped to almost $10,000 for the combo pack?
I would think not. Their time, experience and business expenses still exist and aren't cheaper because DJI dropped the price of one Enterprise model. Our license package will not change - however the price to purchase the drone package will be different.
