Very exciting, when does the 152 come back though?
When the average weight of American aviators drops about 50lbs
She’s beautiful!
Reminds me of a brief discussion I had with the head of marketing for a large Southwestern Cessna dealer in 1977 or 78 at the new model year changeover. I asked him what was new, changed or improved in the new models. He replied "P and P." What is that? Price and paint. About sums it up. Basically the same planes they have been building since the mid-1950s.
They’re so shamelessly embarrassed about the increase in prices, they have to throw in the old car dealer scam called the “4 square pack sheet”. Which is exactly what you described. Their scarred to death of the mosaic changes coming for light sport aircraft, all those sleek carbon sexy planes from Europe that put Cessna stupidly to shame.
Those look pretty as heck . Wish retracting gear came back and better revised
Wait. Was that the announcement? New paint and interior schemes plus some avionics enhancements?
So now, instead of $700,000+, it will now be 1.2mil. No wonder GA is failing fast. No one can afford it anymore.
Plis new cessna twin engine 340,421,414,402😢😢
A half million dollar dinosaur. Build quality of a 78 Buick, handles like a '40 Ford sedan in the mud, fuel efficiency of a megayacht
very good for cessna company.
The seats looked better before.
What I would give to fly in one of those beauties!
You can have my next 172 flight, they just handle too piggy to be fun. Of course I fly a turbo Mooney
@@htschmerdtz4465 You own a turbo Mooney? I'll go for that plane. Mooneys have been my object of desire since EVER.
bring back the 152 and the 210
When you put lipstick on a pig it's still a pig
The fit and finish is poor at best, especially at half a million a copy just for a skyhawk, come on cessna, you can do WAY better, especially for what you charge for these aircraft of 50+ year old tech..
