      😁 Thanks Tony. Its still going strong and always surprises me how good it is 😁. Only issue i have had was the mains plug broke.... but that was because I stood on it and snapped off a pin. I quickly replaced it and its up and running again 😃. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

    a really nice review! I'm trying to decide between this one and the DeWalt and have watched multiple reviews of both today. (I've still not decided lol) but it's really refreshing to get a review without music over the top, no 'over the top' ness and straight to the point. Thank you! :)

      😁 Thanks Reo. I've had this for quite a while now and its still working great. Hopefully whichever one you choose you will be happy with... its better than sanding by hand 😆. Thanks for watching 😁 👍

    Nice piece of kit - easy to see why you chose that make. I'll have to wait till my trusty Titan gives up the ghost though.

      😁 I love it so far 😁. You may have to wait a while for your Titan to give up though 🤔. All the Titan tools I have ever had seem to last forever and are surprisingly good for the price. Thanks for watching Ben 😁👍

    #teamteal ! :D However I favour the cordless version which is a cracking little unit too.

      😁 I must admit, after my old ros destroyed itself I was using my 20V cordless Workzone (Aldi) one for a while and I was surprised how good that one is. But now I have the Makita I guess I should use it 😂🤣. Thanks for watching James 😁👍

    Good review is nice to see 'out of the box' reviews. One thing, you can buy a pad saver which is a thin hook and loop sheet which stops wear on the original hook and loop sheet. You can also buy a thicker padded version about 10mm which is lovely for sanding softer edged wood and finishing. Very useful. You should also look at the Veritas sanding meshes not very expensive but last far longer and promote more material removal. Or if you can afford them the ultimate Cubitron 2 👍

      😁 Thanks Marholm. I like the idea of the pad saver, sounds like a good idea. My plan is to get some Veritas discs soon. I just need to use up the hundreds of cheap discs I recently purchased... but that won't take long 😂. Thanks for watching 😁👍

    Thanks for the Vid, do you think this sander would work with rust removal on my old pickup truck?

    • @frankslittleworkshop
      @frankslittleworkshop  7 месяцев назад +1

      😁 Thanks Rob. I guess it depends on how much rust there is. If there is lots then an angle grinder with a flappy disc may be best to start with. But this would be very good for the finer finish. Just ensure you give it a good blow out afterwards so the paint dust doesn't clog it up. I hope that helps ?. I still love mine and its a great sander. Thanks for watching Rob 😁👍
