    Imagine turning it into a tiny home for travelling & camping. Would be epic, especially if the roof was solar and the tyres could handle off road.

      Anon mouse Hydrogen impossible to refill tank would last only 1 day of cycling. Battery power is better as you can charge anywhere with a 3 pin socket.

But what you are doing there is outstanding. Keep the bloody good Work up you crazy people!

    I was at first concerned for the stability of what looked like a two wheeler recumbent. But after seeing it in action the whole truck / cargo body of this quad is really cool. But as the others have suggested an enclosure for the driver is a must for use in poor weather. As a camper option this would totally rock.

    Very nice concept. The center of gravity is high to make it more stable, the box carriers can be move down more and the tank move sideways. This would allow a more stable load. Great idea.

    • @TankCrusher210
      @TankCrusher210 5 лет назад +4

      @@DanielleMoren If it's for refrigeration then why not just use an absorption-cycle refrigerator? Somewhat less efficient - but much less expensive! The space and weight saved by removing the fuel cell and compressor could instead be used to house a larger fuel cylinder.
      The only definitive benefits I can see in using hydrogen over chemical storage batteries is the lack of a finite cycle life and the ability to rapidly replenish the on-board energy supply.

Perhaps it wouldn't even make sense to make the battery capacity that big as electrical outlets are plentiful as opposed to H2 refill stations.
