Just got mine in today! I'm pumped! I emailed lovepedal before receiving it and asked if this was a purple plexi and cot or a variation of these two and the response that I got is that VM is a "different animal". If that helps..... anyway. I spent 5 minutes with it and I love it
Great demo, great playing! Your vid here convinced me to buy one. It's an incredible stomp box. Stacking the two sides is a freaking blast. It's knocked all my other OD's and distortion boxes off my board. Rock on!
Late to the party on comments but been following for awhile. Vintage vs 200lbs of gold. You’ve answered my questions for Comparison with the chulo and the 200lbs. I’d love to have both the Vintage and 200lbs. Your solo in all right now made me a believer. The vintage is a 200lbs with a bit extra. Correct me if I’m off. Great vids btw
Sounds fantastic! Have the Tchula (partly based on your video) & love it. This strikes me as achieving the Tchula (vintage side) with more tone shaping possibilities PLUS adding in the Plexi (modern side) which is also stackable… am I correct here?
Awesome demo! I picked one of these up in one of the last SNS sales. I came to most of the same conclusions you did, though I’m playing through Strats, Teles, and a p90 equipped SG through Vox amps. @Sebastian Falvo Music, did you find that the level control didn’t add much volume past the 11 o’clock-ish setting? Don’t get me wrong, I’m totally satisfied with the sound, but it seems that level isn’t added much, or at all, past noon. Just making sure there isn’t anything wrong with mine! I think Lovepedal's Kalamazoo offerings have been a little quiet for the last couple of years. Maybe throw a little gasoline on that fire? I'd love to hear it on its own and how it stacks with other drives.
