Lovely design and explained clearly. Just don’t know what dab gel is and never heard of it before but you have answered someone else’s question on that. Look forward to trying it soon. Thank you for sharing 💅🏻
You could use gel polish. Matte top the black, then use a white gel and cure, use the inhibition layer to tap the pigment powders into. Then cure again just in case, then dust off gently and top coat.
absolutely, however I prefer the dab gel because its so thick and pigmented, it will hold more color than a gel polish. Also you'll get much more detail with the dab gel vs gel polish :)
hi! biggest difference would be before curing the gel will hold more pigment....if you apply after curing, only the take layer will grab the pigment so its will just be a bit lighter. :)
I just got some pigments for Christmas and I'm addicted to them already😊 looking for as many pigment powder designs that you may have. Have a great day🤗
hi there, we are using Dab gel pigments, its a thick viscosity which makes it perfect for this application. You can find these dab gels here...profilesbackstage.com/shop/gel/pf-gels/dab-gel-pigments/
hi Ashley! Stamping polish won't work, it may dry too fast and pigment won't stick well enough and end up dragging when you put the top coat on. Most any white gel (on the thicker side...too thin will run together) will work for this, I just prefer the dab because its so thick and pigmented so it works great for this application :)
If the white gel you apply has a tacky layer after curing it, you won't need a top coat. As long as you have some kind of tacky layer you'll be able to get the pigment to stick. At least, I'm fairly certain.. lol
hi there! dab works best because it’s nice and thick so it grabs a lot of the pigment, but A nice white gel polish would probably be fine… It might not be as vibrant though 😊
hi! yes, however, we prefer the dab because its so this and it stays put. if you do this with regular gel polish it won't hold as much of the pigment so it won't be as vibrant. also when you apply the pigment it may melt or move around a bit so it won't be as sharp.
hi there! If you aren't wanting the pigment to stick to the background color I suggest after curing the background color, lets say the black, wipe off the tacky layer and you can even lightly buff over the black. Next put your white on and apply your pigments. Then cure. After curing you will be able to dust off all the excess pigments. This will remove the pigments from the background and will only be cured into the white :) Hope this helps! (Note if your background is a lighter color ad pigments seem to stain it easily, just keep dusting, it will come off )

hi! dab gel is a gel pigment… super pigmented!! It’s great for painting especially if you’d like to do one stroke, it is also great for stamping and using stencils😊
Never heard of dab gel before. I just used a regular white and it worked fine!
Same! I was wondering what to use. My white gel is too opaque😮
Regular white what? Sorry I am new lol.
@@FoxySparklesregular white polish (not the gel kind), wait for it to be kind tacky and then you add any neon pigment that you want
Great tutorial, clear and to the point. Thank you 💅🏻❤️

This is awesome. I'm curious the difference from placing your pigment before verses after curing the white?
Oh and AWESOME video. Loved it

@@profilesbackstage oooooooohhhhhhhh ok. Cooooolllll. I’ll have to try before curing. I’ve only done after.

It’s actually Dab gel which is a gel pigment.
you can find it at profilesbackstage.com ☺️

@@ashleyward7659 hi Ashley dab gels are available here: profilesbackstage.com/shop/gel/pf-gels/dab-gel-pigments/
Hi, what are you tapping with? Is it a cotton?
hi! We are using crinkled up plastic wrap, this gives a nice splotchy look :)
Hi there! Great work! What can be used instead of dab gel? Hope you can get back to me soon 🙏🏼♥️
hi there!! any gel with a sticky layer should work well. we prefer the dab for this because it’s so opaque it makes the neons super vibrant :)
@@profilesbackstage Thanks for getting back! 🙏🏼♥️ Makes complete sense. Will get my hands on that soon 🥳
Such a good video love it x
hello did you apply top coat before applying the white then the pigment? or can it work without applying the top coat?

I like it
Where do I find your pigments?

Do the Ready…Set…Glow pure pigments
Work the same?
they sure do ☺️
Must it be dab gel?
hi there! dab works best because it’s nice and thick so it grabs a lot of the pigment, but A nice white gel polish would probably be fine… It might not be as vibrant though 😊
Can we just use white gel Polish ??
hi! yes, however, we prefer the dab because its so this and it stays put. if you do this with regular gel polish it won't hold as much of the pigment so it won't be as vibrant.
also when you apply the pigment it may melt or move around a bit so it won't be as sharp.
Did any one else think they got a message during the video lol I so checked my Notifications 😏
But it was a good video
Please everytime I use powder on nails they get sticky on the other side instead only the white please help

Will it work if i start with a black matte press on nail and just do the rest of the steps?

yes you will want to topcoat the black or at least wipe the sticky layer from the black. this way the pigment will only stick to the white 😃
Just order some neon fine powders etc learning polygel at 34 LOL
