This was great info. I have been on a quest to stop using Outlook altogether but have never been able to truly setup Gmail to work with multiple email accounts which is different from the multiple inboxes. Or is it? Seems like I could use this but wondering if their is a better way. In outlook, they list each inbox and its folders. Is it possible to do this with Gmail? I have 5 different email accounts in outlook. Thanks.

It is hard to come by someone who teaches clearly without confusion or going on a rant while teaching bringing more confusion. I have been in my new HR role a little over a year, I have have been so disorganized and now I’m getting more responsibility, so I must get organized. I honestly organized everything by watching your videos. I’m organizing my labels now at 1:30 am. Lol I’m so glad I stumbled across your channel!

Also ... I have three emails. I thought this would show me how to have the 3 emails showing on Android in one inbox, but separated with the name of each email.
So what I am looking for is something that will put certain emails in the right inbox and not my regular in box. For example emails from various retail businesses. Will this work for that?
I created multiple inboxes and notice that the emails I want in one of the inboxes I created are also showing in the general inbox. How do I get them out of the general inbox and only appear in the inbox I created?

Part of my job is to sort through his emails and let him know which ones he needs to deal with right away and which ones he can wait on. I have watched several of your video's and can't seem to figure out how to keep the top labels Primary, Promotions, and Social to remain while changing to a system where he has several emails in his box . Like Important, Starred, Everything else. Can this be done? If so can you explain how, or did I just miss something?
I like the Labels and Filters better than this ... this is just chaotic. But one thing I would love to know is how to either get rid of Updates, or automatically move emails out of Updates. I have it set up so all my email accounts go to Updates and then filtered to their Folders/Labels, but it takes time to remove the Updates label from all the emails - not much but still a pain.
can we have the View option in gmail like how we have in MS Office Outlook. i need to add multiple gmail accounts and i should be able to see them on the left under inbox(similar to how we add mulitple emails to Outlook)

After following your video I cant get new emails to populate in the Gmail boxes the main box works fine??
