I'd been thinking of getting into Munroe Bagging when I eventually return to the U.K. in a couple of years after missing the wilds of my childhood. Your videos on Motorhome are fantastic, and genuine, really helpful in building my ideas for my semi-retirement Thanks for all these ideas, you've pretty much convinced me that a compact campervan would give me the benefits of comfort between hikes and wild camps. Excellently done!
Hi Motorhome Man , excellent rundown of all types of van and layouts. Ideal info for the first time buyer and will save time at a dealership when you have enough to think about without being confused about layouts etc. 10/10.
Your videos are really helpful… I’ve never owned either a camper van or motor home. I’m 6 ft 2in and don’t find the bench seating comfortable. I’d need a van whose front seats have shoulder support and can swivel around for use in the van itself. Any recommendations please?
Great information just about to go into motorhome, single and really like looks of autosleeper Mezan what do you or subscribers think about them ,regards Dave H.
You have made lot of informative content in recent times. Very useful. I do have a campervan, but am total newbie about all things motorhome, and got my mind on the future.
thank you for the vids! Question: The campervan at 3.35 - with fixed bed + toilet - never knew they existed! What model/price range would something like this be? Just a general estimate from your experience would be helpful please...
Hi, we have a Bailey 620se Approach, it came with a bike rack which we don't use but can you suggest a luggage box that we could fit to go in it's place. It would be great to have a little extra space. Thanks for all your helpful videos, this is our first motorhome. We have only managed 3 trips so far but are looking forward to exploring the UK ASAP.
Thanks for a great summary of UK style motorhomes from small to large. Very timely as we are finally looking to buy a motorhome. BUT why does the UK seem about a decade behind N.America slider design layouts? Come to think of it, the internal decors of some of the motorhomes you showed weren't that dissimilar to the Commer Autosleeper our family had back in the 1970's. So is the lack of layout innovation in the UK due to regulations on dimension or weight, or due to UK campsite width restrictions? Or simply that UK customers are not aware of recent advances, and so are not asking for it? My cousin (living in the US) has recently bought a fairly compact Thor Gemini motorhome based on a Ford Transit (w/ V6 turbodiesel engine). It is smaller than some of the motorhomes you showed, and would easily come under a C1 UK licence. BUT with a whole wall slider appears to give two or three times the internal space of anything that you showed. That extra width opens up all sorts of new layout possibilities. Do you know if any of these type of designs are in the pipeline for this side of the pond? Thanks.
You can if you want to, buy a US RV here. It will do about 7mpg on a run. Then when you get to a camp site you won't be able to get in through the entrance. You will only be able to use it on the M1, M2, M3, M4, M5 etc etc. Good luck to you! (Also their build quality is appaling, go and look at one!)
Great video mate . Nice to see that Swift Sundance 630L with a different kitchen layout to mine as it’s a newer version than my 2006 . Does the passenger seat swivel on that model ?
We've just bought our first motorhome . Ducato Carioca 635 . Please can you tell me where the feeder is ? Also known as transformer or battery charger . It says in manual before connecting to power supply make sure selector on feeder is turned to correct voltage 110 or 220 v . Have not a clue where this is 2005 model . Any help would be appreciated.
Hi, We are thinking of buying our 1st MH, lots to look at and learn. One thing that does concern me is future value as the car industries move over to electric. Our budget will be circa £40k. Are manufactures developing electric versions? Thanks in advance.
You keep referring to those cupboard-mounted floor level heaters as 'gas and electric'. I thought they were always gas only. Do those you looked at actually run off 230v as well as gas? I've never seen one that does. They are excellent though, much more reliable and cheaper to fix than the combi boilers.
Wonderful choice of layouts. How much & which makes would you recommend for a 1st time motorhome buyer. Budget I think around £23k to £25k. Looking for a 6 berth. Layout preference would be u shape end lounge, with overcab bed. Must have at least 4 Seatbelts, reverse camera & separate shower tray ( not a wet room combined wash area) Thank you
Hi Jason just watched your dinner time video with Bob Ernshaw which i enjoyd great banter between you both, i watch Bob and Jennies videos and to see them being involved with you gives me confidence that you could be the man to help us move from caravan to motorhome. if you could reply leaving an email to discus our needs to change. I will give you our caravan details etc when i get your contact details. Thanks Barry.
Hi going to view a Fiat 2.8 Autotrail Cheyenne 634SE tomorrow - 2004 on a 53 plate £20k - says it’s done only 19000 miles so how do I know if it’s genuine - also are these Motorhome’s a good model as a first time Mhome?
Thanks I did the viewing but the seller was a bit cagey so it didn’t feel right - plus it only had history from 2014 as it was re registered after being on the isle of Mann
Thanks ford the reply - off to see another next week on a 2002 - it’s a 634 with L shaped lounge - which is what we’re after - up for 21k but told them I’d be a cash buyer so they said they would drop to 18.5 k - 24k miles - checked the MOT and it’s not been MOT’d since Jan 2018 so it’s definitely been sitting around since Jan 2019 - is it still worth a look as they said they would get it all serviced and MOT etc
That start was a bit patronising, stick to describing them rather than reclassifying 4 berths as 2 and telling people how they should use them. I have a motorhome towing a caravan and I stay for 20 nights or 3 if im bored. So ner ner :). Never buy the twin rear axles they cost a fortune on toll roads in europe..

Thank you Muddy and I do not know why we are behind. The roads in the UK are not suitable for the RV's and yes weight is an issue there to.
