If using on the dw some places require you to change the RSA to 4096bits in the advanced settings during the creation of your new key pair in order to use it on their site. Besides that this video had everything I needed.
Thank you for this detailed explanation & demo. Your delivery is very relaxed and clear compared to other videos I've seen on the subject, which tend to feel rushed. I really appreciate that and will be checking out some of your other content because of it! So often it is the case for tech-minded people to explain things as fast as they possibly can, as if it were some kind of race, making it very difficult for the average person to follow along and fully absorb the concepts. The information you presented was much more pleasant to digest! 👍
kevin thanks a lot, your explanation is deep and clear but i lost out on two things 1. PLS SENDING MY PUBLIC KEY, SHOULD IT BE THROUGHT MY EMAIL TO THAT OF MY CLIENT OR SHOULD IT BE DONE THROUGH THE SOFTWARE?. 2. THE MESSAGE WRITTEN WITH THE PUBLIC KEY OF MY CLIENT, WHERE DO I CLICK TO SEND IT OR IS ENOUGH WRITING WITH HIS PUBLIC KEY?. Thanks for your patience
You would not need to send your public key unless you want to digitally sign the info - verify that it's you sending it. As long as you encrypt it with their public key, they should be able to read it.
Thank you! I've viewed several videos and this was the best. You explained all scenarios and it worked!!!
Very good explanation of PGP and using Kleopatra. Excellent!!!
Thank you so much kelvin, i have watched other tutorials on Kleopatra but i must say yours is very good
